A large airport with a lot of cool shops with souvenirs and themed gifts 😊
Everything was packed and in full. Sellers actively helped in the selection, so knowledge of English was certainly useful)
In general, it's worth visiting Cape Town once in your life: there are a lot of interesting and unusual things here :)
It's a great airport. We quickly passed through the border control, we only asked for how many days we arrived, and that's it!!! No confirmation of return tickets, which hotel, nothing interested!! They passed very quickly. We received our luggage, changed 300 rubles, and bought a local 5 GB SIM card for a 2-week stay. We took a taxi for 500 rend. Everyone also quickly checked in their luggage and passed through security.
Terrible airport lost a suitcase wheel. And they say it's not us, we don't know anything. And on departure, as usually happens, you put fragile things in one and the rest in another suitcase . As a result, there are 2 suitcases for a family. The cunning employees asked to put the lightest suitcase weighing 8 kg on the tape and sent it to be loaded into a cart. And you have to pay extra for a big one. 8 people are complaining at each other saying that they were making out a stack, but at the same time there were 4 above the stack. But the print first said that it was OK. Liars!.We ruined the whole mood and after such great experiences in Cape Town, we trampled on all the impressions and euphoria of returning here.
A good airport, duty free is quite small, the choice is meager, the most important thing is that the entrance to the airport, the location of the ticket offices and passport control were organized very well, everything was fast and without problems. That's great for that. There are restrooms, a smoking area is organized inside the airport.
Normal! Everything is fast. Passport control doesn't even ask for anything. Exchangers are different, so I advise you to check the exchange rate. If there is no Uber to call a taxi, bargain at the taxi call desk.
It's a great airport. The queues are not big. It makes no sense to arrive 3 hours before departure. I do not recommend changing the currency back at the airport, it is better to do it in advance.
We were in November 2023, the airport is small, easy to navigate. Souvenir shops are better to visit before the clean zone, everything is much more modest there. I was unable to connect to Wi-Fi... I've been waiting for authorization for a long time, but I haven't pulled up the necessary page. You can see the signal is weak.
It is quite a good airport, there is a place to have a snack, a good choice in duty free, it is easier to buy wine in duty free, since the prices are the same as in city stores!
It is not a big airport, but it is very convenient and comfortable. There are not a large number of Duty free stores, but the assortment in them is not bad.
A good airport, clean, lots of delicious cafes, there is a place to sit. Entrance and exit are free, without inspection, as in our country. WiFi is free.
A large convenient airport, lots of cafes, shops, Bolt and Uber arrive, the access capacity is high, I walked to the international zone from the parking lot in 10 minutes
A big, beautiful airport. There are many shops, cafes.Prices for some goods are lower than in the city. Clear logistics. It's a pity that there are no drinking
fountains.
A clean, good airport with equipped smoking areas. There are souvenir shops, the price in them is exactly the same as in the city. Therefore, if you can't buy souvenirs, don't worry! The airport will help :)
Small. If you are in doubt whether to buy something at the Johannesburg airport, do not hesitate! This airport is many times smaller. Literally 1-2 souvenir shops, a small duty and a cafe - that's it.
A clear airport. With cheap prices for souvenirs. If you didn't have time to find something in the city, then everything is the same and not much more expensive you can find at the airport
A clean airport. It is better to take out laptops during inspection immediately. If you didn't have time to buy souvenirs, then there is everything in the waiting area.
An airport. Pretty clueless. The passport control area is small and stuffy. Business hall for 4*. Wine is poured, but at the bar, not in the vending machine)
