It is spacious enough, good service, self check in, most exchangers work only during the day from 9 to 17, so look for a currency exchange in the span between the departure and arrival zones- there are many steps and elevators are not everywhere. It's difficult to do a currency exchange search quiz with luggage (!)
In general, airport navigation is quite intuitive.

Impressions of the airport in Bucharest are not the most positive. It's the middle of the day, and it's littered like after a long, noisy party. There is nowhere to have a snack standing or sitting on a table. There are a couple of counters with coffee and sandwiches or pastries. There are few chairs just to relax and their rows are close to each other. The airport itself is small, the toilets are very small and their sanitary condition also leaves much to be desired. The plane was delayed for more than an hour. At the same time, passengers stood at the boarding gate and answered the calls of the landline phone at the counter themselves. I had to hang around between the people until someone got up and managed to sit down in the vacant seat. This is all on departure on international flights.

An overloaded airport is similar to the former Soviet regional ones - the same style, size, the same amenities... There are a couple of shops nearby and several catering outlets at the airport itself, the prices are adequate.
It is convenient to get from the train station in Bucharest.

At the exit from the airport, ask the price immediately in advance, unscrupulous drivers may get caught who overestimate the price by 3 times. To the city center 15-17 €, do not give more.
