We rested for a week in this hotel. It is declared as 4 stars, but the hotel itself is very tired. There are towels, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries. Towels and bottled drinking water (0.5 liters) are changed every day. However, one day the cleaner just came in, took the tip and left everything as it was, only took out the garbage. The bed was changed 2 times during this time. The bed is already old, there are holes. The hotel itself is located almost in the center, it is convenient to get to the sights of the city. The staff is polite, they always meet you halfway.

A standard hotel of this type. Metropole, Ambassador, etc. With a claim to luxury, in fact, a tired old hotel with boorish staff in some places, poor cuisine, a bunch of "amenities" that are either difficult or impossible to use. In our case, pillows of the type "cotton wool in a pillowcase" from which the neck and head ache in the morning, a pool that seems to be there, but looks more like a human goulash, room service "on the dump", audibility of the level "coven of drunks under the window", burnt carpet, broken furniture, etc. all this you will find it in hotels of this type. The Yerevan Metropolis is no exception. Almost 30 thousand drams per day for such a hotel is very expensive. 15-20 is just right. I do not recommend it

Do not take economy rooms, they only look like standard rooms in the photo, but in fact everything falls apart in them, sheets with holes, windows to the courtyard with noisy air conditioners.
If you take other rooms, I think the hotel will seem quite decent

Excellent location. Comfortable room, there is a swimming pool and sauna in the basement (included in the price). There is a kettle and a minbar in the room. Bottled drinking water is replenished daily, tea -coffee - sugar (in reasonable amounts) too. The Wi-fi is excellent. Powerful air conditioner

It was my first time in Yerevan and I urgently needed to book something. From August 31st to September 3rd .
What a fragrant hotel 😻 the aroma added to the hoods enveloped all days . The staff is very polite , the rooms are clean and even the do not disturb sign did not prevent me from cleaning the room in my absence.
For the first time , I wanted to take the mattress away from the room , it 's very comfortable . Generally ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Now, if I find myself in Yerevan again, I will only recommend you to you.

In general, it's fine.
The price tag may be too high for Yerevan, but it is quite excellent for the level of the Russian Federation.
What is important is that the corridors and floors in general are covered with carpets - this ensures silence.
Sometimes they forget to put water on. 50/50.
I didn't try breakfast - I ran around on work issues in the morning right away. But even after any dinner in Yerevan, no matter how, I couldn't eat until lunch the next day.

Very friendly staff, starting from the reception desk and ending with the maid, will help and prompt. The room is clean, bright, cleaning every day, drinking water is replenished daily. Buffet-style breakfasts - there is enough of everything. It is located 10-15 minutes from the city center.

Good staff, everything is clean, everything works, we liked everything. Perhaps the furniture is a little outdated, or maybe we got such a room. But for us it was not a critical factor. They say there is a heated swimming pool, but we didn't have time to use it :)

The "tired" hotel rooms require repair (you can see in the photo), some are better, some are worse.
There is no single standard (namely, in some rooms there is a thick blanket by default, in some there is a thick pillowcase instead - on request, they will fix it, in principle, not a problem)
Breakfasts are ordinary, as everywhere there is nothing special.
The style of ala is "royal" or "Tsigane", someone likes the style from the 90s, someone does not - it's subjective here.
There is also an indoor swimming pool (not large) and a sauna … It would be nice for the owners to make an outdoor one on the roof (the weather in Yerevan allows)
There are no irons in the rooms
The TV signal is of poor quality (in all rooms) - the image is rippling and shaking
The staff is attentive, it is clear that everyone is trying to do their job with a five-plus

It 's just awful ! It is not indicated anywhere that the bar in the room is paid! The bar costs almost 24 hours a room! It is written that the reception is 24/7, but upon arrival it turned out that you need to wait until 11 am at the most! And I arrived at 4 in the morning with the children and the sick father and to be settled immediately I paid for another day! At this time, we arrived at the hotel for less than a day and paid for two days! And a bar like in a day ! They said they would pack breakfast with them by agreement, but this also did not happen, referring to the fact that we allegedly did not warn in advance, although everything was discussed that you would leave around one o'clock in the morning! The zero service was very disappointing for this hotel!

Lovely hotel, great location! And that was the end of all the good things in this hotel for me. The reception staff is only trying to cheat, be careful, do not pay anything in advance and check everything before paying. The restaurant is open only until 22:00. If you get to the hotel later than 22:00, then you will have a quest to eat. I don't want to describe all the troubles that happened during the 2 days of staying there. But I wouldn't check into this hotel a second time...

The worst hotel and staff I've met at the hotel.
It all started with a reservation, we wrote to the hotel's mail that we would arrive ahead of time and clarified whether it was possible to check in before 12:00 as indicated-we did not wait for a response in a day.Accordingly, employees do not take tubes either.
Arrived-arrived at the hotel at 11:30, at the reception, the stone-faced staff say in one phrase that check-in is only after 13:00, walk wherever you want.Well, OK, they left... upon return, we, a married couple, are settled in a room with separate beds and a boorish young lady, instead of solving this situation, makes a printout and poking at the reservation sheet shows that it was indicated on the website.There are no other rooms, and if we pay for one night and go to another hotel, we will have to pay a fine. I highly do not recommend this hotel, it spoils the whole impression of a vacation

The hotel leaves the most negative impressions, the boorish staff refused early check-in, after which they settled the couple in a hotel with two separate beds.
When we asked for a replacement number, we were safely refused.
We wanted to cancel the second night of accommodation, to which we were told that in this case a fine would be deducted from the cost of this very night.
I can't imagine how this hotel could get into the top.
UPD : We listen to TV for the second hour with our neighbors, the audibility is great!

Today we returned home from sunny and hospitable Armenia. The week of rest flew by instantly. We have seen only a small part of this beautiful country, and therefore we will definitely come again.
The hotel and the staff allowed you to relax and unwind. In the morning, a hearty breakfast and smiles from the staff. In the evening, a warm welcome and again smiles and help, if necessary.
The rooms are clean and cozy, there is everything you need - towels with daily change, bathrobes, soap accessories, hair dryer, mini-bar, tea, coffee.
Special thanks to the bartenders Karen and Tigran, the maids of the 4th floor. I have never met such responsive employees in all my trips. It's the truth. The hotel managers can be proud of their employees!!!
The hotel is located within walking distance to the city center, 1 km and you are in the heart of Yerevan.
In the morning, we were woken up by the cheerful whistle of a guard and a gorgeous view of the Ararat factory.
I fell in love with Armenia, Yerevan, the Metropol Hotel and the staff. Will I come again? Absolutely!! Tatiana K.

Great accommodation option! Comfortable rooms, there are all sorts of little things for personal use. For example, a set of needle threads, not to mention shampoo and soap. A comfortable bed.
Good location - close to the center, there is a supermarket nearby. Two cognac factories:-)
Friendly staff, excellent room cleaning.
A great breakfast. I have seen in Turkey, in "three-way", "buffets" at lunch are worse than the local breakfast. Meat, fruits, juice, yogurt, porridges, several main dishes, salads, sausage and cheese cuts, etc.
