We had a rest in September 2024, the hotel is 3 stars, the food is not refined but normal, I liked the breakfasts, always eggs, omelets, different types of cheeses. Of the cons, there are no normal drinks, tea is not delicious, coffee is not, there are no normal juices. There is beer and cola on the bar from all the normal stuff. The room is small, but the towels were cleaned every day, the bedding sets are clean.
I really liked the staff, they were always responsive, ready to help, although none of them speaks Russian, they found a common language.
There is no beach of its own, but it takes 5 minutes to walk, you can take a drink in any of the cafes and lie on the sun beds all day, we found a great beach further on, where it is quiet and few people, Cafe Queen.
My impressions of the rest were positive.
I would put 2, but the food is not bad
Location: 4 small hotel, positioned as 4 stars, but this is 2. Plus, well, or 3 minus))Built in 1999, it is very close to the sea, but : there is no private beach, the beach is public or those hotels that are directly on the sea, so either look for free sun beds, or buy something from bars on the sea, it is located at the beginning of Icmeler and Mariaris, so the beach and the sea are clean, pebbles, shoes are needed
the room stock is dilapidated, there is no kettle in the room, slippers, the room was cleaned every day, I left money, accessories : soap, shampoo for a week
They put it once, a hair dryer in the room, beach towels are paid: you can buy them on the street, the TV shows very poorly, but it was rarely turned on, on the upper floors 3,4 Wi-Fi does not work, on the second somehow, but for this small amount the room is tolerable.Lena goes outside: get ready for the screams and music of the thumping British and Turks. Windows on the pool: get ready for the screams of thumping Englishmen who do not roll away from the bar until they suck out their ol inclusive. The sound insulation is bad, earplugs are needed. The pool is small, occupied by Her Majesty's subjects, but the plus is that they get up late: a Russian folk proverb is in effect: those who get up earlier get slippers.. the food is good, no complaints. Excursions can be taken both from the guide and from the hairdresser 15 meters per hotel. The majority of the population and guests are English-speaking, in the end, if they got cheap, why not go?)
The hotel is not 4 stars, maximum 2.
If you are a young girl, then I highly do not recommend this hotel. The staff is the worst I've had a rest in. There is a biased attitude towards Russians: they stick and flirt all the time. But if you refuse, then you are being followed and followed, which is what I encountered in this hotel. Late at night, my friend and I were sitting by the pool of our hotel. The guard didn't like that we didn't let him use our official position. He wanted to get two drunk Russian girls into bed, we warned them. Suddenly he started touching my shoulder and shouting Turkish obscenities. I was very afraid that after that he might let go of his hands. After this incident, the guard began to harass. He started following us, interfering with the work of the bar, limiting our drinks, even though everything is on. The guard does not have a badge, works only at night and does not always wear a uniform. I wrote an official statement to the security guard and gave it to the owner of the Mersoy Hotel. Thus, the guard spoils the reputation of the hotel.
A couple more cons:
- The hotel has not had its own beach since this year, there is an excellent Deniz cafe near the beach, where you can take any drink and lie on a sun lounger under an umbrella all day.
-the rooms are terrible, everything is falling apart and very badly cleaned -on the last day we came across a cockroach (I attach a photo)
-wi-fi catches only at the reception, in the room as luck would have it (I caught it every other time)
-in terms of food 50/50, but after lunch until 14, dinner starts at 19, you may be hungry, pancakes were given once a week in the morning, fish and meat were enough.
-there are no rules of the epidemiological norm: the air conditioner is located right above your head, it falls apart on your last breath.
Of the advantages, we went on excursions to the Aegean Islands, but the tour operator DECEIVED us by saying that there would be ONLY ONE RUSSIAN on the yacht ($ 50). There was almost no Russian music on the yacht. The rest at the hotel was spoiled and personal boundaries were violated. Only nature and the sea helped
I do not recommend this tour to purchase, it did not justify the amount spent.
