February 28
I had a rest from February 12 to February 24, 2025. I'm alone, I'm 68 years old. I was very happy there. I chose this hotel based on the price and the reviews that helped me. That's why I'm also writing a review, maybe it will help someone. I arrived at 8 a.m. and was immediately checked in. It's a very nice little area. The room has 2 balconies, the bed is clean, but not snow-white. The air conditioner and fan were working properly. There was always water, and there was very little water pressure on the 2nd floor. There were no insects in the room, except for mosquitoes. There is no refrigerator, kettle, or TV in the room. The safe at the reception is 50 rupees per day. It is very pleasant in the morning, after leaving the room, to immediately sit down at a table on the grass and have breakfast with the birds singing (although symbolically -2 toasts, butter, jam, tea or coffee). a peaceful, pleasant atmosphere. Nearby, there is a nicely equipped smoking area. When leaving the hotel, turn left to the main road - 5 minutes and turn left again to the center. To the right of the hotel is the beach- 5 min. On the way to the main road, on the right, (literally 1 min walk from the hotel) there is a very good ALMAZ cafe. Very simple, without music, sooo delicious and 2-3 times cheaper. The hosts, husband and wife, Portuguese Alma and Antonio, are very nice people.. Alma cooks by herself. I regret that I didn't go there right away. But further down the road to the main road, at the turn on the right, there was the HARRY HOUSE restaurant with live music, which was expensive and tasteless to me.Alma's fish is delicious, but it's disgusting in the restaurant. Maybe I was just so unlucky. The beach is gorgeous and clean. shakes left and right. in principle, they are not much different. I liked the 2nd one on the left the most. The sun beds are always free, there are no towels. The staff is friendly and helpful. Shower, toilet and even, I'm sorry, a "washbasin". It's not too sterile, but it's tolerable. You can get a massage right there on the cot -700r back, 600r legs, but you can negotiate for 1000r for everything. Not a very serious massage, but rather for entertainment and relaxation. There are no flies or other animals, except for indifferent dogs. It is very comfortable-it is not hot, because there is a pleasant warm breeze. The sea is very warm water, you can stay in the water for hours, but there are STRONG WAVES. The people mostly just wet their feet. The most stressful thing is to walk through the surf, go waist-deep, and then, if you can stay on the water, it's a wonderful pleasure to swing on the waves. Swimming there, like in a pool, doesn't really work out, but you can just lie on the waves for a very long time and don't get bored. The first few days, when there were few Russians, I generally swam alone. Then "our people" arrived and the sea became a little lively. In the evening, the sheki set up tables on the shore, put candles on, turn on the illumination and music (European, but very loud) In such an atmosphere, you can have dinner or just have a drink. It's all very pleasant. It will be more expensive than in the village, especially in my favorite Diamond. I will describe one case that characterizes the locals. On the very first evening, I went to change money and got lost, although it is very difficult for a normal person to get lost there, but I was able to. I asked 2-3 people about the hotel - they couldn't tell me, the next person I turned to for help started looking on the Internet and offered to take me on a bike, but he took me to the wrong place, and it happened several times. We searched for my hotel for 40 minutes, riding his bike and FOUND IT!!!! And this young man refused to take the money. My gratitude to him is boundless! I was so "prostrated" that I didn't ask his name to pray for him, which I really regret. There were many more small adventures involving local residents, which are now fun and pleasant to remember. I'd love to go there again and again..

We went with my husband in January 2024. The hotel is well located, literally five minutes to the sea, on the other side to the main road also, literally five minutes. About the hotel. There is no refrigerator, TV, kettle in the room. The sockets are breathing like incense. A refrigerator and a TV for a fee (we did not buy it), but this is the first time I've seen this. The room is poorly cleaned, dust, cobwebs, gray bed linen, stained. Safe deposit box at the reception for a fee. Breakfast is coffee or tea, two toasts, butter and jam. You can buy an omelet or scrambled eggs for a fee. We ate in sheki, in a cafe. I really liked the Himalaya cafe, on the main road to the right.

My favorite hotel in Candolim, we have already been to it 3 times and we will go again. Quiet, cozy, clean, pleasant area, not far from the beach. The staff is friendly, ordered breakfast, always very tasty and fast. Maybe it's a little far from the main movement, but for us it was not a minus

Not far from the sea, it takes 5 minutes to walk. A calm, quiet place. The rooms are simple, clean, there are no problems with water, small but with its own balcony. There is no air conditioner, there was enough of it on the big fan above the bed. It's very good for this money

By the standards of India, it is a good place. Super location: very close to the beach and not on the road. The usual rooms are a bed, a bedside table, chairs. Our linen was clean. There are ants, spiders and even a lizard, but for a tropical climate this is normal, especially since we lived on the ground floor. There are no cockroaches or more unpleasant animals. The beach is just great! There are few Indians, no dirt, normal shekels, a wonderful entrance. If you go 200-300 meters away, it will be much worse there. There are many cafes, restaurants, and fruit stalls nearby. From the point of view of location, the place is super.

The place itself is very good, everything is close to the ocean cafe. Not to be near the road. But very scary rooms are very budget-friendly. The hostess does business on everything, even to the point that she sells you toilet paper and water. Although in all hotels they put it for free, I will not go there a second time.

We have been going to this hotel for several years in a row. Everything suits us quietly, 500 m has passed - traffic, the proximity of a beautiful beach.

A great quiet hotel, for those who just want to spend the night. You can order a meal, 20 rupees more expensive than in a cafe. The staff is friendly and friendly. To the beach, as well as to the central road, along which buses run no more than 5 minutes

Hello everyone. A beautiful, quiet place. The hotel is small and clean. 200 m from the beach. There are cafes and shops nearby. There are two super layouts. But I must say right away, this is not for all-inclusive fans. It's much better. But that's my opinion.

Cozy, quiet. The beach and the fort are nearby. The staff is friendly. Tables under an umbrella in the courtyard. Flowers. Gazebos for smokers and non-smokers. The reception has a tap on the side with warm water to wash your feet after a dusty road or a beach with fine sand. The view from the room on the second floor is magnificent: palm trees rustle by the balcony, waves can be seen in the distance. There are no excesses. But I liked it.

Pros: excellent location, no more than 100-200 meters to the sea, as well as to the road with public transport. The coast is good Cons : refrigerator. He's gone. If you want it to be, pay 100 rubles a day. The air conditioners do not work, you can not take breakfast at all, because they consist of 2 toasts, butter, jam and tea / coffee. Mosquitoes (they are, let's say, in all hotels in Goa). In the nearest beach neck, a gang of insolent aborigines are rude at the end, throwing things off sun beds, etc. The cafe a little further away has a completely different attitude

We were there in February 2020. A calm, quiet place. The sea is 5 minutes away. Not a luxury, of course, but you can live. We took a boiler and an extension cord with us, they were very useful. The bed linen is almost white, you can sleep) Hot water, there is a shower, two large towels were provided. The staff does not speak Russian, a translator on the phone and sign language helped. It was our first time in India, and we did not regret staying at this hotel.

The hotel is modest, clean and calm: good location (300 m to the sea), away from the main road, no noisy neighbors. Polite and helpful staff.

Inexpensive, cozy, without livestock, NOT HOT, although there was no air conditioner in the room. Good location, 10 minutes to the beach, 20 minutes to the city center on foot.
