The museum is OPEN on schedule!
Cash payment!!!
Excellent museum! The main thing is to take a ticket with an excursion (for a group of 1 to 15 people, only 12 bel.rub., I think it's very cheap). The guide presented the information in a very fascinating, positive and interesting way!
Without an excursion, the expositions will not be clear and it will be possible to say that they wasted 2.5bel.rub. per person for admission.
You need to pay for photo and video shooting separately. I forgot to take a photo because of the fascinating stories
A charming little museum. Two floors. We arrived without an excursion, but a very nice lady (apparently the caretaker) told us a lot and showed us. The museum left pleasant impressions. We were even allowed to take pictures in national costume, which was a nice addition.
An impressive three-story watermill building, it feels like it's about to start working. Inside the ethnographic museum, you can learn a lot about the life of Belarusian peasants in the past centuries. They only accept cash.
Great museum, nice staff. Good decoration of the halls, unfortunately there was no time for a full-fledged tour (which I regret, I hope it will work out next time).
Except that plastic windows in an old building look a little alien.
The most beautiful place in the city. If you will be in Orsha, then I advise you to visit. Before staying there, we stopped at a ruined mill by the road, and were pleasantly surprised that there is an analog in Orsha itself, which has been restored and made more accessible to tourists)
The museum "Mlyn", in my opinion, is the most attractive in Orsha. The building retains the architecture of the 19th-early 20th century from the outside and inside. The museum is currently under renovation.
On the ground floor there was a permanent exhibition dedicated to peasant life.
The second floor is more interesting. The impression is enhanced by climbing the stairs directly from the hall on the ground floor.
There was an exhibition of the Belarusian national costume, in the center there was an exposition imitating the situation in a peasant's house.
A lot of changing exposures
It's not worth going to Orsha specifically to see this miracle of engineering), but if you're passing through, then of course the mill and the Collegium are the main attractions of the city and worthy of a visit.
A wonderful museum! A wonderful guide! The museum is not big, but there are quite a lot of exhibits, a very interesting story! Even a 3-year-old baby listened to half of the tour))
I will not give any spoilers, visit for yourself. You will like it!
* the photo does not characterize the exposure, but these views ...)))
It's a great place, I recommend taking a tour, one of the disadvantages is that the terminal didn't work, I had to run to an ATM, but I was lucky with the guide.
An ordinary ethnographic museum. The building is interesting, original, historical and cultural value. The wheel on the plan is working, you can take cool pictures. The exposition is, in principle, interesting, and quite standard. It's worth a visit)
I really liked the museum. There are two floors inside. The exhibition presents peasant tools, household items, many different handbrakes with embroidery and lace, peasant costumes. Photography inside must be paid separately (2 rubles summer 2023). Tickets can only be paid in cash. There are ancient stone millstones at the entrance to the street. Well, the museum itself looks like a mill. The museum is open three days a week.
I liked it for its simplicity, unusual exhibits, convenient location, beautiful park around and friendly staff. You can buy specific handmade souvenirs. Two cozy small halls and a Belarusian folk atmosphere.
The heart of the city is very beautiful.Especially in summer. One of the few places in Orsha where the spirit of the old town is present. This area needs to be improved further.Put the embankment in order, create a photo zone.
There are many interesting exhibits in the museum, you can buy an interesting souvenir, the excursions are very interesting, they tell about the Belarusian history, about the clothes of Belarusians and their traditions👍
I really liked the exposition. I advise you to take a look. I learned a lot of interesting things from the life and way of life of the people of White Russia
I definitely recommend you to visit - a wonderful and interesting museum on two floors, everything is informative and visual, cheap tickets, polite and knowledgeable staff.
And look inside here! The soulful and atmospheric museum inside the mill will not leave any travelers indifferent! From the outside, the attraction is also beautiful!
An incredible museum - healing energy . Those same fabric museum slippers and parquet as in childhood. Friendly staff. A small but capacious space. Convenient picturesque location.

Everything is fine. It was the first time . There will be a memory for the rest of your life. The staff told me, showed me, I really liked it. A very warm welcome. Thanks to all the staff
A very beautiful, clean, well-maintained place. A wonderful museum. It's good to come and sit, despite the fact that this is the city center, it's always quiet and peaceful there.
Be careful- the museum is still under repair! For some reason, there is no information about this anywhere, I came, but I couldn't look at it. The preliminary opening date is summer, but you need to call and find out.
One of the "business cards" of Orsha. Few buildings of this kind have been preserved, and this Old Mill looks in excellent condition. There is not enough water to turn the wheel 😁
The Mill is located in the building of an ancient watermill, which was built in 1902
The building houses a museum, and private exhibitions are held on the ground floor of the building
This is a very small but worthwhile museum. The tour is inexpensive, but the guide tells the story of this place in a very interesting way. We were with the children, they liked it.
It is a pity that there was no guide that day, an employee of the museum explained something. And the place itself is very interesting from the point of view of historical life.
A wonderful museum. Be sure to take a guided tour. They tell interesting stories and explain them intelligently. It is informative for those interested in Belarusian history and everyday life of ordinary people.
A good museum with an informative exposition.A pleasant atmosphere of antiquity. Great excursions. There are a lot of inexpensive souvenir products. Only positive emotions.
The place itself is interesting, but we could not get into the museum, since tickets are sold only for cash, and we did not have Belarusian cash, only a bank card.
A great museum! If you are inside, take a tour, the exposition runs through on its own quickly, and the guide tells everything in great detail and interestingly. Good luck to the museum staff!
