The base is good. Rooms, beach, pool, sea, climate - delight. The nature is incredibly beautiful.
Minuses.
The kitchen is weak. The menu is monotonous - in 5 days 5 times goulash, three times pasta, twice olivier, from yesterday's mashed potatoes for breakfast pies with potatoes. Despite the summer, not a single fruit or vegetable.
The staff is not very efficient. Any request is answered: "Yes, yes, can I do it later?"
The quality of tap water is simply terrible. The five of us had a rest, all were poisoned, like the rest of the hotel guests at that time.
If the issue of water is resolved, then this is a great place for a quiet, peaceful, family vacation.

Beautiful and well-maintained territory. Amazing delicious complex meals. The portions are huge and taste great. A clean beach with sand. There is a swimming pool, sun loungers, a mini bar, a spa in the hotel, a restaurant in the form of a yurt, cottages. The accommodation is cozy, the rooms have everything you need. Most of all, I was shocked by the view from the window, which it is impossible not to fall in love with!

If it weren't for such high prices, then only in Melada would we rest. Cons: the service is weak, the food is edible every other time, but they promised that they would replace the staff in the kitchen, the descent to the beach is not very convenient. Positive: spacious and comfortable rooms, sea views, clean large swimming pool, sandy beach with a good entrance to the sea, parking for cars.

Complete price-quality discrepancy
I don't know about the hotel rooms, but the condition of the houses is not very good, to put it mildly.
On the second floor, the carpet is stained from, judging by previous reviews, which we have already read late, the vomiting of previous tenants. There are cobwebs everywhere. The hood above the stove is dirty, just rags hanging down. The taps are all rusty, the water barely flows from the watering can in the shower, the water smells, the bathroom is basically strange and cramped. The choice of the color scheme of the walls in the house is also very strange) The stairs are shaky. There is one roll of toilet paper in the house for 5 people, you constantly need to ask for it to be brought.
The food in the restaurant is monotonous, for 5 days minced meat was served for lunch 4 times, and 2 days in a row in the form of cutlets))) and borscht 2 times, the meat for dinner was very tough several times. There is no menu for the day, that is, you will never know what will be cooked today, there is no substitute. I am generally silent about the adapted menu for children / allergy sufferers. Well, of course, the intestines are a bonus, everyone has picked up: from grandma, to an 8-month-old baby. In the house, everything was treated with boiled purchased water, so it was obviously picked up in the restaurant. We are still undergoing treatment.
There is no beach of its own, although it is stated that there are many glasses in the sand and in the water.
I think that the base is absolutely not worth the money.

Unfortunately, the price does not match the quality. The location is not bad, the houses are not bad, but they require thorough repairs and constant care. There are a lot of minor breakdowns that cause inconvenience (broken shower watering can, lack of a watering can attachment in the shower, clogged drain, broken latch in the bathroom, broken front door lock, etc., etc.). A positive point is the attitude of the administrator Bauyrzhan, who tries to smooth out unpleasant moments everywhere. Thanks to him.

We had a family vacation in Melada in July 2022. The price is high, the service is very low. Poor cleaning of the cottage, spoons, forks, etc. The dishes look like they've collected all the junk. The palace on the floor is sovdepovsky, not washed. You won't call the administrator. There is no hair dryer, there are no garbage bags, you beg for toilet paper. The towels are washed. Well, the kitchen is really with an intestinal infection, the whole family was poisoned. The food is very bad. No one is watching the pool, children can go to the toilet there. The main thing is that there is no toilet near the pool, if you have to run to the room, it is very inconvenient. The price does not match the quality .

I really liked it at the base and in general at Bukhtarma, in general, the whole of Kazakhstan and the people in it are wonderful except for traffic police officers, this is a separate nation, greedy vile bribe takers, if you do not give a bribe they will find a reason to dig in, if you do not pay attention to it, then I recommend from the bottom of my heart.

An "interesting" place for dinner... we came to have dinner (the cost is fixed - 3,000 tenge per person), so in the end we still managed to charge some kind of commission, even if we were warned at the entrance... It sucks completely, be careful, dear vacationers.

Perhaps on the coast of the Bukhtarma reservoir is the best base! Cozy rooms with TVs and air conditioning. 3 meals a day. It's pretty tasty! Nice houses! Adequate administration! Nice beach. There is a playground for children! Of course, there are shortcomings, but they are minor and not vital. By the way, televisions work, but television does not! Therefore, they are part of the interior. But I think that you don't need a TV on vacation!)

We had a family vacation at this base! Everyone was poisoned! Only then did we realize that the stains on the carpets in the houses were the vomit of previous tourists! All the talk is that this is an adaptation, complete...! There's some kind of intestinal infection in the kitchen! During our stay, several more families were poisoned! Of the advantages of this place, its own beach, but the torments that we experienced from poisoning are not worth any money! The children suffered the most, three days with fever, vomiting, did not get out of bed! We just escaped from this base! There was no clear apology or regret from the administration!
