I visited this hotel in 2012, I liked it.
Small, well-maintained, green area; promenade between the hotel and the beach, 1 line. The sea is clear.
There are outdoor and indoor pools, a SPA. Scuba diving school.
The rooms are not exactly very modern, but clean and cozy.
We had a balcony overlooking the cypresses and the sea.
Upon check-in, we were presented with a bottle of sparkling wine 🥂
There is a public transport stop near the hotel, it was our first time in Cyprus to take a car, so it was convenient. The infrastructure is well developed - cafes / restaurants / pizzerias.
By the way, you can walk to Amathus, the ancient museum city.
As a minus, the hotel (both in the room and in the lobby) had paid WiFi, which barely worked. Used the Internet in restaurants )
Lovely hotel , sandy beach , 1 line . Nice small area . There is a promenade along the sea, which is good for a walk or a jog. There are many cozy cafes with national cuisine along the promenade.
Only breakfast was booked at the hotel. There were few people, so there were no queues, the choice of breakfast dishes was large, but every day everything is the same, the assortment does not change.
There are a lot of sun beds , both on the beach and on the lawn , there are no problems with this . The incredible number of stray cats was a little annoying, they are everywhere. In our absence , they could jump on the sunbed and lie down on a towel . I think that this should still be monitored, cats breed all over the island, no one controls their birth rate. They are in cafes and on the streets, everywhere.
The hotel is very pleasant, four stars. The price corresponds to the quality. Russian-speaking staff. The contingent is quite decent for our time. There are many elderly Germans and Englishmen. Eastern Europeans began to appear. Ukrainians are under 25 years old, but there are few of them. . There are excursions, but there are few of them, which is determined by the size of the island. The breakfasts are quite decent. The prices in the hotel restaurant are not sky-high, comparable to prices in urban restaurants.
One big plus is the gentle entrance to the water on the beach and the lack of equipment on the water !!! Good breakfasts, good Cypriot coffee for an additional fee, brut for breakfast on Sundays! The price of the buffet for lunch and dinner is very reasonable, the child is half price, we booked with breakfast , the rest is in fact. In general, a quiet and peaceful hotel, there are few young people, but at the same time a good kids' club, a child can be attached for a couple of hours. A good 4ka on the first line, I think! Thanks to all the staff at breakfast, amazing women - in a great mood, set the tone for the day!
Wonderful hotel. Rooms, at a height. Polite, helpful staff. Great beach. The infrastructure of the hotel is well thought out and convenient. Delicious and varied breakfasts. Convenient location, transport accessibility.
I put a three for the price-quality ratio. The hotel is quite ordinary, I would even say a three. The rooms are tired, the restaurant is shabby, the coffee for breakfast is terrible, they don't give croissants, it's creepy for a foursome. The territory and the beach are excellent, there are a lot of seals, wonderful and affectionate), the sea is clean, there is a battle for sun beds among the hotel guests. The neighboring four seasons is better, of course, but it's a five. In general, the entire infrastructure of hotels on the first line of Cyprus is already outdated. The climate, the sea and the restaurants around are wonderful. There is a great market nearby, where they bought oriental sweets and cosmetics. Cyprus is good, but everything has become very expensive, ehh...
A great hotel with a slightly slow reception.
Fresh rooms in a calm color scheme and excellent interior.
Friendly and attentive bartenders in the miniature lobby bar.
Everything is fine in this renovated hotel.
We have been vacationing in Cyprus for the first time since September 8th. We arrived early in the morning, at 12:00 we already checked in. The hotel is large and very beautiful. The territory is well maintained, there is a lot of greenery and incredibly beautiful. Many thanks to all the staff for their attentive and friendly attitude. All anti-weed measures have been taken. Very calm. We had a wonderful rest. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.
We were in December. The hotel is half empty. And this situation has its pros and cons. Let's start with the pros: a room with a gorgeous view, a pool and sauna just for us and a general peace of mind. Of the cons: according to the half-board system that we chose, we were fed not in the main restaurant (buffet), but in the a la carte restaurant. There are 2 options for 3 dishes to choose from. Plus, an unpleasant surprise was that we were incorrectly told the cost of drinks (which are not included in half board). In the restaurant, the price was called one, and when leaving the hotel, it was calculated at a price 2 times higher.
The hotel is not bad, but it was much better. Food, cleaning, service - for 4+. But the check-in took place as early as 15.00. The arrival was very early. We were at the hotel by 11. We went with 2 small children (2 and 4 years old), an elderly mother (84) and a niece with a disability. The flight was also early. They promised to cook breakfast, but very hastily, 5-7 minutes before departure, hot coffee and iced croissants were brought.... of course, it's not that important, but it's not very pleasant...
This is the second time in this hotel. Solid 4, as it is positioned. Superior rooms with sea views are spacious and have a large balcony. Bathrobes, slippers, daily drinking water and welcome fruits with a bottle of wine. The breakfasts are slightly more modest than the previous visit, but this is due to the low season. The service is good, the cleaning is regular and of high quality. We were satisfied.
The hotel is just dangerous! Elevator doors close on their own, not reacting to the fact that you enter or exit. Once I got out of the elevator with a sleeping child in my arms (the child is one year old) - the doors began to close right at that moment and clamped the child's head!!! There was no reaction to all my claims, they said "well, yes, they should not close" - that's it!
There are containers with drinks in the restaurant, in which there is a very shallow tray - in case the drink spills. And as a rule, this pallet is always overflowing. I poured myself some water and it so happened that in the process of pouring, I was slightly undermined (slightly! Water!!!) - some local lady who deals with the arrangement of food came up and started poking at what I was pouring here! I tried to smooth over the situation, saying that everything is okay - give me a napkin to wipe it off. She's okay! It's okay! I came running with a rag and started wiping everything there. I was pissed off - I went to the Russian-speaking representative Yana (the hotel accepts complaints about the quality of service) - she apologized, let's take action, blah blah. A few days later, the situation repeated itself, with another employee (now a man). By the way, staff who do not work with guests (arranges food, cleaners, etc.) should not approach guests at all! And even more so to make comments to them!!! Oh yes - they rolled a towel into a boat the next morning in response to my complaints 🤦🏼♀️
Cleaning is separate. Our room was cleaned by the same housing and communal services. We were vacationing with the children and she realized that they were sleeping during the day. And of course I decided to clean up at this time! Despite the fact that all the other rooms were cleaned in the morning. Naturally, we sent it - cleaning was limited to taking out garbage and changing towels. It wasn't every day, but every other day it was. Cosmetics were also not reported (hair balm was generally put on a couple of times in 2 weeks)
The service in the restaurant is crooked. You don't even sit down at the tables at breakfast - you are escorted. That is, you stand waiting for them to take you away. There is no coffee machine - the waiter must bring it in a thermos. We sat down 2 rooms at 1 table, but the request for "that coffee" always caused a fatal error. They brought two a couple of times in just 2 weeks. Removing dirty plates is sooo rare. They kept putting them on the neighboring tables. That is, there are people sitting at tables, but there is not enough to clean up the dirty
There are no lifeguards at the pool. There are uncles watching the order - the sunbed will be fixed, the umbrella will be opened... a few people at the pool. What for??? It would be better to have at least one lifeguard - there are almost only children in the pool
There is no animation - neither adult nor children's. The children have a children's room that works only in the morning (when everyone is bathing) and during daytime sleep. For adults, there is some kind of background music in the restaurant and not on his stage. A magician was invited once. That's it! There is absolutely nothing to occupy yourself in the evening, except to go to sleep in an unmade room hoping that the elevator will not squeeze you on the way
I am very disappointed. The staff is just saying dirty in the restaurant. The dishes on all tables are dirty, well, a maximum of 3 * in Egypt
Rude and rude .The rooms are not cleaned, but visibility is carefully made.By no means EUROPE. Sorry.I do not recommend such a vacation to anyone.
It is good in the room, in the beach area, they work clearly in the food block, there are a lot of Russian-speaking staff.Note : two days repair of the doorbell
The room is devastated, everything is shabby. There is a dirty carpet on the floor. Apartments are being built nearby. The entrance to the sea was filled with pebbles instead of a sandy line
