A beautiful mosque. Admission is free. Take off your shoes and leave them on the shelf inside at the entrance. Despite the fences inside, I went to the center and sat on the floor. No one made a remark to me. Don't make any noise, don't interfere with other people's prayers.

The New Mosque or Valide Sultan Mosque was built in Istanbul in 1597 by Sultan III. The foundation was laid by the order of Murad's wife Safiye Sultan and in 1665, the sultan of the time IV.
