The Suleymaniye Mosque is the second largest and the first mosque in Istanbul.
According to the words, the TV series "Magnificent Century" was just filmed on the territory, but tour guides claim that no series was filmed in Istanbul🤔
There is a cemetery in the courtyard of the mosque. Here, in two neighboring mausoleums, Suleiman himself and his beloved wife Hurrem (Roksolana) with their daughter Mihrimah rest. (and all the sons are there too)
