The trouble is, the hotel is shabby and dirty. Upon arrival, the reception is empty. We spent about five minutes looking for someone to check in. The standard room is small. There is not even a place to place your screws in the bathroom. They haven't changed their underwear in 3 days. Towels are washed tired.
The lobby bar is closed. You need to go out into the 36 degree heat on the veranda at the entrance to the hotel.
I won't stop a second time
Marriott is "tired". Bathrobes are provided on request. There's something wrong with Wi-Fi too. The restaurant on the terrace has been waiting for a very long time.
The convenient location of the hotel, there are many places nearby, both tourist and business. The hotel itself is spacious, the staff is very polite and friendly. The rooms are clean, spacious and tidy. The room has everything you need, including a blackboard and an iron, but I still recommend a laundress if necessary. The only thing is that the shower was leaking in the room (905), but not critically. At breakfasts, lunches and dinners, the variety of dishes is not great, but everything is very tasty. Wi-fi is normal. I recommend.
We took the most expensive room on the 6th floor with a view of Republic Square, and as a result we were given a room with a side view instead of a direct one. They refused to correct the situation in any way, and did not apologize.
The only two advantages are the geographical location of the hotel (center) and friendly staff. Among the disadvantages: there were no dental kits in the room, the room itself was quite shabby and required cosmetic repairs, the lighting in the room was very poor, there were few sockets and they were in hard-to-reach places, the TV in the room was prehistoric. The hotel has a hairdresser Milena (very expensive). The breakfast buffet is very expensive. For the same amount, you can have dinner together in a nice restaurant in the center of Yerevan. Overall impression: clearly not up to the Bonvoy network.
Very weak. The hotel is old, the service is weak, a lot of broken things.

The prices are what you need, but under the tablecloth there is a crumpled, old table, chairs with stains from it is unclear why, and the service staff with a huge supply of munnat.
A room for 15,000 rubles a day with dirty windows, scanty rooms, wires on the walls. The staff is not very friendly either. There are much better hotels in Yerevan for this money. We fell for the name. One of the advantages is the location right on the Republic Square.
I liked everything. I was in a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the city. Nice view. The hotel has a car rental service. Everything is on the level. There are no problems with parking either. Very polite staff.
From the window of the restaurant, located on the second floor, there is a great view of the square. Convenient location and walking distance to many cultural and leisure places.
Somehow it 's not Marriott at all ) everything seems to be normal , but somehow something falls short ....... a strange hall , a strange breakfast in some small room ....... I would not recommend it, plus only the location))))
Great location. The rooms are very large.Towels and bathrobes are clean . The laundry smells a little like tobacco , but considering that you can smoke , it 's okay . Great balconies. The food is 4 out of 5 , but a lot of meat and vegetables .
About how Marriott actually recognizes that scammers and thieves can work in the ranks of its employees, and how it insures itself against the possible consequences of this by destroying the property of its clients.
Or how I was left without money to pay for the hotel, buy food and pay for my other expenses during my vacation, after drinking a mug of beer in the cafe of the Marriott Hotel.
I asked for the bill, indicating to the waitress that I wanted to pay with a bank card and showing the card. They brought me the bill and asked me to put my card in it, after which the waitress left. After a while, she returned with a terminal from which my card was sticking out and asked me to enter the PIN code, which I did. The waitress disappeared again with the terminal and my card. After a while, she returned with a folder for the invoice, on which there was a receipt for paying the bill with my card and asked me to sign it. After taking the check with my signature, she left a folder for the bill on the table. I put the tip in there and left.
I do not presume to say whether my card was in this folder, of course there is a possibility that I did not notice it under the receipts attached to the folder, of course I was inattentive, forgetting that the card did not return to my hands, but I justify myself primarily by the fact that the above procedure for calculating the card for it was not usual for me, I was used to the fact that usually in a restaurant the waiter brings a term into which I or he inserts a card in front of my eyes, after which I enter the pin code and immediately get my card back.
In the morning I realized that I had forgotten the card in the cafe of the Marriott Hotel. I knew that during the day I would not need a card, and in the evening I would walk next to Marriott, the place is decent, what will happen to my card? I'll come and get it! I came in....
The friendly waitresses recognized me and at the entrance, immediately offered to pick up my card, asking if I had my passport with me. I sat down at the table, made an order, after a while a waitress came up with a man in a suit and a sign Arthur, in whose hand I saw a small stub from my card with my name on it… This gentleman explained to me that according to the instructions, they could not store the card for more than 24 hours, so it was destroyed.
Well, of course I was outraged, said a few angry words to this instruction, realizing that there was nothing I could do, said goodbye to Mr. Arthur and asked the waitress to check on my order. Mr. Arthur and the waitress girl left, I looked at my watch and realized that only 20 hours had passed since my visit to this place. When I found Mr. Arthur in front of the cafe, I drew his attention to the fact that only 20 hours had passed... he was surprised, started calling somewhere, after talking with someone explained that they still destroy the forgotten cards after an hour.
After finishing my dinner, I went to get my passport, returned to the Marriott Hotel cafe and asked her to call the person responsible for destroying my card. After a while, Arthur appeared again, I explained to him that I had come with a passport and would like to receive what was left of my card, as well as some document indicating who, when and on what basis destroyed my bank card. In response, I received the text again, with regret that it does not depend on him, that after a couple of hours, as the card is forgotten, they destroy them (new version, it was 24 hours, then an hour, and this time a couple of hours ...) and he can only give me a small piece of the card ... which I and I got it.
P/S – I started this text with the fact that I was most outraged ..., but I also do not understand why I received only a stub of my card with my first and last name from the fighters against fraudsters specializing in bank cards, while the main part of the card with a magnetic stripe and the chip remained unclear where ... and these are actually those parts of the card with which you can commit that part of the fraud.
Gentlemen from the Marriott Hotel, please tell me, on what basis did your employees destroy the property that belonged to me? Who will compensate me for the cost of reissuing this card? And perhaps the cost of my other expenses incurred due to the above-described illegal acts of your colleagues?
