When I read about the sights of Ras Mohammed National Park before my trip to Egypt, I imagined the mangrove grove to be exactly a "grove" - a large number of tall tennis trees.
It's not like that here. Trees that look like big bushes grow on the shore of a pretty pond with white sand. There are not very many of them, but the place is quite picturesque. After all, these trees grow in the desert. This is a kind of oasis. I've heard that mangroves make salt water more fresh.
If anyone is interested, then real mangrove forests can be seen in Thailand, on the shores of Phang Nga Bay.
