I was with my husband in the spring of 2024. Pros- the very center of the city, Fatih district. From the roof you can see the blue mosque, the sea, and a very beautiful view. The room has everything you need-a towel, a bed, a shower gel, everything is there. The most important advantage is the location, everything is a 5-10 minute walk away.
Cons-the air conditioner was not working, the room was very stuffy. The smell of dampness.
The breakfasts are very meager, the salads are strange to our taste. We went to the local fish restaurant, everything is fine there.
The hotel has a very convenient location, a large number of attractions are within walking distance, the Blue Mosque is about 400 meters away on foot.
Turkish citizens work at the hotel, they do not speak Russian, but they know English perfectly well, so there were no questions with the service. Our room had a view of the Marmara Sea. Breakfast is also served on the terrace overlooking the sea and it was wonderful. A very caring Sabyr woman works in the kitchen, she is very responsive.
Of the minuses, the rooms are a little tired, the furniture needs to be updated. However, it is worth noting separately that the room is clean, towels are changed every day.
The staff at the hotel is attentive, helpful and very friendly.
I really like this hotel.
It is located in a historical place.
Quiet and cozy.
Excellent view from the upper terrace of the hotel to the Marmara Sea, the entrance to the Bosphorus, the Blue Mosque.
Attentive and courteous staff.
I recommend.
It's a terrible hotel, the photos don't correspond to reality. The rooms are old, everything is shabby. The air conditioner is central, the temperature is not regulated: One minute you're freezing like a dog, the next it's too hot to breathe.
Oppressive burgundy walls, not enough light in the room.
The location is terrible, in a slum cul-de-sac... where to take a walk at night, well, so-so.... It's a 20-minute walk to normal cafes and a more or less central street, which is not something you want every time.
Cloudy milk-colored water is running from the faucet... the faucet in the bathroom is rusty and moldy, I don't think the microwave has been washed for the second season, it doesn't heat up at all.
The floor is icy, the mini parquet is all shabby and, as they say, has seen its own.
There is a construction site outside the window, since the morning, something is being unloaded with a terrible roar.
The hotel is located in a dead-end slum of the old town, so you need to walk about a kilometer to get to the embankment.
Don't see it in the photo, the hotel is very old.... I moved out of this hotel on the very first day. As they say, I was led by the data of my tour agent, who told me that this hotel has 4 stars, in fact there are no stars, this is ala "guest house to spend the night in Anapa."
Breakfast options: omelet and tea, water. If you want to eat one omelet, then ok.
The only thing that's a plus: they are friendly staff, they will help, prompt, tell you. The Blue Mosque is 10 minutes away, and Topkapi is a 15-minute walk away.
Pros: close location to the main attractions (literally 10 minutes of a quiet walk), but at the same time quiet, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, clean linen. If you only come to spend the night, then the price / quality is fully consistent. We were completely satisfied with the hotel, because Istanbul, after all, is not the city where they fly to sit in a room.
I lowered 1 star: old rooms, in need of repair, strong audibility in the rooms.
A small hotel in the center of Sultanahmet, you can't drive up by car and the rooms are dirty, but all this is covered by friendly staff and a beautiful view of the Bosphorus. All the sights are within walking distance and quiet at the same time, you can get a good night's sleep. Breakfasts are scarce and do not provide water, you need to buy it. Overall, good impressions, there are disadvantages, but in general it is fine
A small hotel is 10-15 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. A little tired renovation, the rooms are clean. On the ground floor there is a very good audibility of conversations at the reception, the sound insulation is better above the floors. Simple breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the strait.
Excellent hotel in terms of price-quality ratio: terrace overlooking the Bosphorus, varied breakfast, clean, quiet. Of the insects, I met only a couple of ants in the toilet. We lived in April - it was cool (comfortable); I can't tell you how it is with air conditioning in summer.
Great location. The hotel is in a quiet location . The Blue Mosque is close. Don't go downhill. Delicious breakfasts, there was enough for everyone. The staff is friendly, speaks only English and Turkish. There are no cockroaches. There are no dirty rooms. There are no torn towels. The furniture is certainly not new. A beautiful terrace with a gorgeous view! I recommend the hotel.
Russian-speaking-only here!)Olesya at the reception is a huge argument in favor of this small hotel! He has been living in Istanbul for a long time and tells you how and where.just an awesome 360 view from the outdoor roof terrace.below the floor there is a glazed dining room with beautiful views.the rooms are large with all amenities. There is even a small kitchen.there are 9 rooms in total, like, 3 residential floors.but at the same time there is an elevator!the food is varied and delicious.not like in hotels in the resort area, of course, but you won't stay hungry and dissatisfied for sure.a safe area.It takes 10 minutes to walk to the square with all the sights along the streets with a bunch of cafes and shops. We lived there for a week in November of the 19th.We wanted to live somewhere else for a change. We wandered around the area for an hour.We visited 7 hotels.as a result, they came back. This is the best in price/quality!
