We returned late in the evening from the mountains, we had to find a place to stay for the night in order to continue heading towards Russia. The rooms are cheap at 1500rubles, the reviews are good - fall for them. As a result: the rooms are utter horror, there are a lot of dead bugs in the bathroom , I asked my husband to lift the mattress , because it felt like there were bedbugs there. Blankets are just hell - dirty and scary from the 90s. One star only for the location on the first line. In the morning, you can leave this disgusting room on the street and brush your teeth from the outdoor faucet overlooking the sea waves.

A great place to relax with the whole family. The rooms are large and cozy. Linen and towels are clean. But, the most important advantage is that the sea is 25 meters away from the hotel. In the morning you wake up to the sound of the surf. The cuisine in the cafe is national. Very tasty. I recommend it to everyone.

The rooms are clean, the bed linen is too, everything is ok. Well, now about what is not very good, I hope the owners will read, think about it and improve something. I express my emotions purely. As I said, the complex is a little tired, the facade walls are peeling off from the paint, the problem is not with the owners, the quality of the wood and the builders who collected it. The tree needs to be treated from the fungus and updated. Let's go inside, I didn't take a photo, I'll describe the room I was in. Everything was fine, beds, mattress, bedding, toilet and sink, but the shower clearly fell apart and in black mold. It would be nice to replace the sealant, put the right hands on it a little, but, in a good way, an unsuccessful model, not for hotels, for the family, yes, they would be neat, but here, people do not bother, rested, and then the grass does not grow... In general, I would like to change it, but the decision is up to the owner. There is basically nowhere to eat, I'm not talking about the bar area and the kitchen, but in general, if you want to do it yourself, but only a Doshirak. Yes, and they gave us a kettle, since it was not in the room. In the room, there is a refrigerator, a TV (which was not included), air conditioning, a wardrobe, a pair of bedside tables, a bathroom area with a shower cabin for 3 beds room 1500. Luxury 1800r. Maybe it will be more expensive in the season. To eat, in the bar area, the menu is varied, but we are in the local cuisine, a couple of boats, baby dumplings and homemade wine 1600. Breakfast, coffee, tea, a couple of eggs, 600 rubles. It's budget-friendly, but if it's for 10-14 days, it's expensive. There is no cooking zone, I repeat, if you want to cook yourself, then there is no such possibility. I didn't see the store close, in principle I didn't look for it, I stopped by for a day.
Well, somehow, would you come again?! Honestly? With two children ..probably not, the sea is everywhere on the coast, I want service too, and somewhere to walk, and see something, well, in general, we would think. These are purely my thoughts and my arguments, I did not want to offend anyone. Welcome.

A good place in terms of accessibility to Abkhazia, if you drive your own car. You can stay here and travel in different directions. There is Parking and a cafe, it is convenient to have breakfast. Your own beach.

Friendly staff, great view. The location is right on the beach. The cafe is very tasty. I like that the beaches are wild, so there are no crowds there. And barbecue days are simply divine. I highly recommend it to those who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and just want a relaxing holiday. The convenient location allows you to quickly and inexpensively get to New Athos or Sukhum. You can always book interesting excursions by jeep or bus. I have rested there three times and am completely satisfied). Thanks to the staff of the boarding house for creating such a cozy and quiet place.

We have already stayed here twice. Positive: the first line is the beach, the best khachapuras in the world 💔 and decent "homemade" wine in the cafe (that's really rare!), a garden in the courtyard with a Playground, pleasant, friendly staff and a cool Leopard 😃 you can take clothes for washing, there are air conditioners and a refrigerator in the rooms. I will attribute the location to the advantages - there is a eucalyptus grove nearby, Mount Athos is not far (we walked most often) and it is close to Sukhum.
Of the cons: there were stains on the bedding that could not be washed, two common kettles for the entire boarding house - an eternal quest to find them (it seems they are not in the rooms because of fire safety, but this does not make it easier for guests), the blinds in both rooms were broken. Actually, because of these disadvantages, the price of accommodation is appropriate, therefore 4 stars. I would like more sun beds and bike rental :)

The location is very inconvenient. It is very far from New Athos, you have to spend from 200-300 rubles on a taxi in one (!) direction. It is impossible to walk along the highway to the city, since there are no sidewalks. And on the roadway of the Sukhumi highway it is not very safe. It is located in the village, there are no shops nearby, not to mention entertainment.
It is located 5 meters from the railway, and when the train passes, the whole room shakes, and even the bed. The room had old furniture and 3 dirty glasses. To drink tea, you had to find a kettle and manage to drink tea in bed, since there are no chairs. The bathroom is not very clean, the toilet lid is broken.
The cafe on the territory of the boarding house is expensive, the menu is meager and monotonous. In general, we escaped from there after 3 days, fortunately, the prepayment was only for 3 days.
The only advantage for a well-groomed territory is palm trees and a lawn. The sea is nearby, but to the left of the breakwater there are rocks and algae. We went swimming on another beach, which is not located on the territory of the boarding house.
The staff is friendly.
There is no sound insulation, creaking floorboards, voices, screams, everything can be heard through thin walls and cardboard doors. I didn't want to write any negative reviews, only objective ones. But that's what I saw, that's what I'm writing.
We moved to Athos in a room for 100 rubles more expensive, from where we could walk to all the sights of this beautiful and beautiful city. With a normal beach, new furniture, a chic kitchen and the sea was 5 meters from the house.

Pros: perfect location. Beautiful territory. The sea is literally two steps away. There is a cafe on site.
Cons: the cafe did not always cope with the load, it was periodically closed for half a day. Children's chairs were not wiped in the cafe. The locks on the front door and in the toilet did not work in the room. The toilet smelled of sewage. The child grabbed some kind of rotavirus, most likely from the sea.
Overall, everything is fine. We can go!

Expectation and reality.
The building is completely wooden, the audibility is eerie. The rooms are small, dirty, stuffy and damp, especially on the ground floor. There's black mold in the shower. The owners believe that this is dirt that does not wash off. The room is not ventilated. It is impossible to stay in it with the door closed, the dampness hits the nose. I was very surprised by the approach to guests with children. There is no Playground on the territory, although the boarding house's website says that there are many guests with children. Children use the boarding house building as a playground. There are no benches on the territory, there is no opportunity to sit in the shade. At the same time, there is a place in the shade for the staff. If you come from the sea to the boarding house to wait out the heat of the day, you will have to sit in a stuffy room and listen to the trampling and screaming of children running around the boarding house (the room has air conditioning, but it's scary to turn it on given the dirt and mold. What do filters look like!?).
Guests and their pets - some leave the poor animal in the room for the whole day and it barks until the owners return. For some reason, the administration considers this normal. A separate story with the cleaners, I can't even call them maids. They allow themselves to be rude to guests and consider it normal. During the few days that I was there, I heard a lot of dissatisfaction from the guests about dirty rooms and the rudeness of the cleaners.

Thin walls in one board. Excellent audibility of neighbors and people in the hallway. Terrible air conditioners, they work with the sound of a tractor and drive hot air around the room. Mattresses for the beach are shared. If someone has already been lying in a wet swimsuit, the next user will be lying on a wet mattress. There is no power supply. Two electric kettles for the entire hotel. There is one chair in the room for two people and two hangers in the closet. The nearest cafe is very expensive. The beach is wild with frequent breakwaters, the water stagnates, becomes green and viscous, like jelly. Stones and fittings are sticking out of the water. Swimming is just dangerous. Even walking on such a beach is hard, there are large stones everywhere. You can twist your leg. Among the advantages: there is a shower cabin and warm water.

I was in Abkhazia for the first time. We chose the pension "Mandarin" because of its close location to the sea and far from the road. That's how it turned out.
The beach is Galichny, the stones are quite large, as on all the coasts of Abkhazia, the descent into the water is a little difficult.
Regarding accommodation. Among the advantages:
value for money, daily wet cleaning, change of towels every 3 days, bed linen every 5 days, garbage removal regularly. All rooms overlook the sea.
Of the disadvantages: MOLD. It's something, she swallowed up the whole wooden house. Apparently, there is no heating in winter, it is very damp. The closet in the room smelled so bad that I had to hang things nearby on a rope.
Sun beds for the beach are a quiet horror, in mold, stink, do not dry out, do not count on them.
And another big disadvantage is the audibility in the room. You can hear everything: the noise of neighbors, snoring, conversations.
Even in the off-season there were a lot of children. Which is strange for such a boarding house, it is completely inconvenient with them there, there is nowhere to walk, there is no place to swim in the sea.
Everything else is small: there is very little lighting, mosquitoes attack at night.
In addition, the city of Athos itself is more than 4 km away, there is not much place to walk, a taxi costs 300 rubles.
We didn't have time to get soaked in mold during the week of rest, but I wouldn't have chosen this boarding house for a longer period of time!
