We visited the institution in November 2024. We did not regret that we went here, and not to the tourist center of pilaf from all kinds of guides in Samarkand.
Excellent pilaf, excellent staff. At lunchtime, only the locals were sitting. Before that, we tried pilaf in Almaty, before traveling to Uzbekistan, I expected to try pilaf noticeably tastier than in Kazakhstan. Alas, Kamolon osh and osh on Chor-su in Tashkent disappointed. The only pilaf that surpassed Kazakh was tasted in this place.
I was particularly pleased that the staff did not cheat (or did it less explicitly). Unlike the establishments in Tashkent, where, at the sight of a tourist of Caucasian appearance, the price tag for everything from pilaf to taxi was automatically multiplied by 2 relative to prices for locals.
Amazing osh! One of the best Samarkand osh! I recommend everyone who is in Samarkand to visit this place. Comfort, atmosphere and the main Central Asian flavor are intertwined with history. It's amazing! Katta rahmat to the Samarkand brothers! The best
It was very tasty! Authentic! It's impressive that this place is popular with locals. Very tasty and safe for the stomach with a solid calorie content (tested)))
They forgot to bring half of them, and what they brought was not delicious. The pilaf is fat compared to the rest of the establishments. There's a taste of turkey everywhere, whether it's pilaf or bread. Look for a better place.
We found them on Instagram , read them , the reviews are good , we arrived , and the place is standing with the doors wide open .. The huge cockroaches in the pilaf tanks died of exhaustion , which means they have been closed for a long time ..
A lot of people come and leave in surprise ..
The pilaf is not bad, I took it with me, the meat was already wrapped in foil and on the bone, but they cheated on me at the checkout. I bought 4 portions of pilaf for 70 thousand and instead of 280 thousand they took 320 thousand from me.
I flew to Samarkand in January and often took pilaf with me at lunchtime. Just divine pilaf was cooked by cook Utkur, a tall guy who is very polite and sociable. The pilaf was always perfect. But for some reason there is no such thing and the pilaf has deteriorated absolutely not tasty, the meat is tough, the rice is just porridge. Unfortunately, I will not take such a low-quality product anymore (and now it cannot be called pilaf) and I do not recommend it. A lot depends on the Scale.
We tried pilaf in Samarkand in 4 places and I liked it the most here. However, we ordered a double portion of meat. The salad was fresh, the quality of the vegetables was normal. About 81,000 soums were given for one small portion of pilaf with double meat, 2 salads and a flatbread.
Delicious pilaf . He recommended this place to my wife and me . Perhaps the price tag is slightly different for the locals, but we got a little more than 700 rubles for a large plate of pilaf, salad, flatbread and 1.5 liters of water. We ate too much . The staff is polite in other ways, just like everywhere else in Samarkand.
Samarkand pilaf is prepared in this institution, it simply amazes with its culinary skills. In 25 years, I have never seen pilaf with such exquisite taste and tenderness. It is amazingly fragrant and uniquely delicious, as if each grain is imbued with a unique taste and carefully cooked. This place is undoubtedly one of the best places where you can enjoy the most delicious Samarkand pilaf.
I highly recommend it. Delicious osh, not expensive. Many locals come here to eat delicious pilaf, and guests of the city are not ashamed to bring here
One of the popular places where you can taste real Samarkand pilaf in all its glory is tasty and inexpensive. It is prepared both at lunch and in the evening.
Little that pilaf is made from second - rate rice , so they fool and charge for money at the cash register , a portion of pilaf costs 80 thousand , they took 3 servings , tea and chalop , they charge 320 thousand at the cash register , I do not recommend it to all tourists , as I understood the cashier , seeing the European appearance , begins to sheathe .

It's a good place, very popular among the local population. One of the few places where there is evening pilaf. We liked it.
We arrived at the opening for fresh pilaf, we waited until all the fresh pilaf with a minimum amount of oil was taken by couriers for delivery. Half an hour later, they brought a plate with butter in which they put some pilaf. They dug out pilaf from black oil, they didn't even eat half of it. Rakhmat
A wonderful restaurant with real Samarkand pilaf. Very tasty. We took 1.5 servings for 3 people + on the salad. Very emotional. Decent service, reasonable prices
A great place, the taxi driver suggested. Very tasty pilaf, the locals eat it with pleasure.
Cost:
Pilaf 0.5, salad, flatbread, tea 40t sum, about 300 rubles. at current rates
Delicious pilaf, a nice atmospheric interior, the only thing - for lost tourists, I would just like a printed visual menu. And so - everything is delicious and healthy!
Of the cons, there is no menu at all! As tourists, it was not clear to us what to expect and what to ask for. But the place is clearly for locals! With its own specifics!
Well, separately about pilaf - it's sooo delicious! I've never tried this before! Sweet, with chickpeas and raisins!
It is necessary to go much in advance, to find out about the opening time of the cauldron. Otherwise, you will eat warm pilaf. Despite the "advertised" location, the service does not reach the level. About 6 out of 10. I had to go for pilaf, for salad, for appliances, for drinks. Pilaf, by the way, is ordinary. Nothing special. The only plus is that the rice is not hard.
