We stayed at the Magnolia Hotel from 05/02/2025-05/12/2025. I really enjoyed my vacation. The rooms are clean and cozy. The rooms were cleaned every day, towels were changed without any problems. Beach towels were also provided. The food at the hotel is varied, fresh, and the assortment has always been changing. Breakfast, lunch. Buffet dinner. They always left well-fed and satisfied. The tables, tablecloths, and cutlery were always clean, I can even say sterile. There is no question of any rotovirus. Most importantly, wash your hands more often and not mediocre before eating. The hotel's swimming pool is warm and clean, and it was cleaned every morning. The hotel staff is very responsive, they responded to every request immediately. I would especially like to mention the hostess of the hotel Svetlana! This is a man who loves his job, loves his guests, and does everything to ensure that his stay at this hotel is 5*!!! We had a rest from December 30 to January 4, 2025. We lived in the 2nd building. We settled in quickly. The rooms are clean, towels were changed every day. Swimming pool with heated pool. The breakfasts are very tasty and satisfying. They rolled out like buns. On New Year's Eve, it was possible to book a table in the gazebo for free. The food was also prepared to order by 22:00, the prices were adequate. The administrator is friendly. When the lights were turned off, the generator was turned on in the hotel. Therefore, we did not notice the blackout. The hotel also has a sauna in excellent condition. They got drunk heartily. I recommend this hotel.

We took a breakfast tour so as not to be tied to the hotel, but if you want, you can at least have lunch or dinner, pay 500 rubles. and choose what you want, and the choice was always delicious and homemade. The hotel has its own territory on the beach (pebble), it is clear that it is clean, they are also cleaned, but there is a small minus, firstly there are not enough sun beds (sun beds with the Magnolia logo), and secondly it's time to change the umbrellas (well, they are too shabby), or at least update, add new ones. We had a rest at the hotel in early October. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the sea, in a quiet area, many shops and cafes nearby. We checked in almost two hours ahead of time, which was very pleasant. The room was cleaned, clean. The pool was cleaned every day, very warm, open from 8 to 20.00, which is very convenient, since it was not noisy in the evenings. They did not eat in the dining room, as they only paid for accommodation. The lights were turned off, but the generator turned on immediately. Of the cons: I would like to recommend that the owners of the hotel put a clothes dryer on each balcony, otherwise they had to hang the laundry on the railing. Well, the furniture with linen, of course, is no longer "first freshness", but this is normal for a hotel positioning itself as three stars. In general, we were satisfied with the rest, thanks for the hospitality, we would have come again. By the way, we rested with two children and did not catch any rotoviruses, although the children did not get out of the pool.

The first thing I want to note is the clean and cozy rooms (we rested in the 2nd building). The food is decent, there is a large selection. The staff is friendly, the pool is clean.

The hotel has its own small beach, but apparently no one is watching it. There were a lot of cracked sunbeds, umbrellas fall apart and fold up on their own, personally, I almost got hit right on the head 2 times. Bottles, leftovers, cigarette butts, and used personal hygiene products are on the beach itself.. I don't know whose fault it is.. but in my opinion, for such money from tourists, it was possible to hire a person to keep order on such a small piece of beach. There is no doctor in the hotel, which is not unimportant, to seek emergency help only at the state hospital, to go to it only by taxi.. but, of course, everything is paid there.

There is also a recreation area on site, a swimming pool, massage for a fee, a children's room. You can choose any excursions at the hotel, there is a shuttle service, which is very convenient. I had a rest from April 30th to May 4th.
I was very satisfied with the service. Friendly girls at the reception, friendly staff, clean, take out the trash every day. There is an elevator. I lived on the fifth floor, you can walk if you want, take the elevator if you like. The food is closer to home-made, but you definitely won't leave hungry: manti, dumplings, soups, fried and boiled food, as you like, salads for lunch no less than 3, plus pickles, porridges and casseroles for breakfast, cottage cheese, sausages, always fresh pastries and much more.

The location of the hotel is good. The sea is 6 minutes away. Sun beds on the beach are free, but they are sorely lacking.The rooms are not bad, but I would like it to be cleaner. Showers, faucets in lime coating. The towels are stained. Bed linen with stains. When the air conditioner broke down and I asked to relocate us, to which I was told by Inna the administrator: "I can refund the money and there are no places to relocate." Inna answered all the questions through her teeth. Although, according to the rules of service, we were required to relocate or eliminate the cause. But somehow after 2 hours I found an empty room. There is one more BIG BUT! This is a terrible rotovirus. We had a rest from 03.08-12.08.23. We got sick all in turn. The problem is the water and the poor handling of the dishes.

We rested in the 3rd building in a 2-room room from 08/20/2024 to 08/26/2024. The hotel is nice and clean. The staff is friendly. Well-maintained territory, clean swimming pool. 5 minutes walk to the sea. There are not many sunbeds on the beach, but it was not critical for us (we had a special beach mat with us). Beach towels are provided free of charge.
Room cleaning every day, change of linen and towels every 3 days. We had our own kitchen in the room. However, we did not use it.
The food is delicious, homemade, you can always find something to eat. They took only breakfast, but almost all days they bought lunches and dinners for 500 rubles per person per meal. Bottled water is cheaper than in the nearest shops.
The only disadvantage is that they do not give you a dry ration with them at early check-out (although the day of stay is paid for), accordingly breakfast was skipped.

The beach is across the street, 5 minutes on foot.The pool is clean. Excursions were taken at the hotel, for money as everywhere else.Thanks to the administrator Olga, she prompted and told me about all the interesting excursions. The room is not cozy, it looks more like a comfortable prison cell. The renovation is made of the most budget materials. There is barbed plaster on the walls for street decoration. There are few outlets, wires sticking out everywhere. You can't turn on the kettle, because the wire stupidly does not reach the outlet. I had to contrive, substitute objects for the kettle. In short, the conditions are Spartan, there are always some obstacles.

Of the advantages: convenient location, friendly enough staff, gazebos on the territory, a swimming pool (although a strange work schedule from 8 to 20), the hotel has its own sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach. In general, these are probably all advantages! Of the cons: dirty rooms, walls with traces of dead mosquitoes, dirty curtains with stains, if you do not move the bed, then the floor is clean. The pastel was made with holes after replacement, the white towels were washed but stained and one came across with holes, the rattan furniture on the balcony was shabby, but we did not use it because we did not sit in the rooms, the room itself is small, although there is a bed for a child, but there is very little space. The breakfasts are very tasty, but of the same type (they get bored on the 4th day) it's a strange decision that you can't take out the food by taking, for example, the breakfast you paid for to the beach. The bathrooms are padded in our room with a toilet lid (apparently after it was replaced) it did not open completely and remained at an angle, occasionally flapping. The noise insulation from the other bathroom is zero, plus someone was constantly smoking in the bathroom from the neighbors, the smell is appropriate.The guests at this time are mostly pensioners and families with children, there are very few young people. There is essentially no entertainment at the hotel (children's animation and 1 foam party).In conclusion, I will say this: would I recommend this hotel? Probably not, would you go a second time? We had a rest from 14.09.24 to 18.09.24 with a family (2 adults and 2 children:13 years and 1 year). The advantages of this hotel: the location of only the 1st and 2nd buildings, and food. THAT'S IT!!!! Cons: very dirty rooms, namely the walls (all smeared with mosquitoes and bruises from them). The wallpaper is very dirty. And the main disadvantage of this hotel is the administrative staff and the hostess Svetlana herself. Terrible attitude towards the guests, boorish communication, namely the administrator of the 2nd building, and the hostess. How can the administrator speak in a raised tone, "you eat here for free, and you can also say something here. If you don't like it, go to Russia." The phrase is word for word. We had a shock. And she was screaming at me, and I had a little baby in my arms. And when they asked to call the hostess (who arrived an hour later), there were no apologies, she was just as arrogant and did not know how to build a dialogue (only a monologue). Complete disappointment in this hotel. They left on the third day. And in addition to this, we also take the baby in half to the hospital with an intestinal infection (for a week under ivs every day for 20 hours). I definitely do not recommend it. Due to such rest and staff, the impression of Abkhazia has deteriorated in general. Although we have been there more than once. But this hotel has ruined everything.
We rested at the Magnolia Hotel (Gagra) with our family from August 22 to September 1, 2024.
We lived in the 1st building on the 3rd floor, the Windows overlooked the 2nd building. The view from the window was gorgeous, the mountains from behind which the sun was rising! I think we are very lucky with the view from the window, because in other buildings and ours, but on the other side there are views about nothing.
The room has a double bed and a single bed. Kettle, refrigerator, air conditioner, TV, hair dryer. The mattress is in the mattress pad. The bed linen, towels, pillows are all white, without any stains.
The street is not passable, there is no noise. A neat balcony (there were no clotheslines in our room). There were ropes on the neighboring balconies. We hung towels and swimsuits on chairs and handrails.
Beach towels are provided at the laundry. It is clear that these towels have been washed many times, but everything is clean.
The room itself is generally normal, the furniture is not shabby. It can be seen that the renovation was done a long time ago (most likely when the hotel opened). There are spots of dead mosquitoes on the walls (we also chased them every evening and the fumigator did not help at all). The shower stall in the toilet is old, there is a lime plaque on the doors (this is unpleasant). If three people wash in a row, the water starts to drain badly.
Cleaning every day! We were regularly asked if bed linen and towels needed to be changed. This is a huge plus. There is no dust on the cabinets (I noticed it when I was chasing mosquitoes).
The administrator in the 1st building is a wonderful woman - smiling, attentive, on all questions and the tour suggested where it is better to visit. I am writing about one administrator, because she worked most of the time (there was a second one, but rarely and we did not communicate with her).
Every Tue and Thu there is a children's animation at the hotel. My children didn't go. We've been to the pool a couple of times.
We had breakfast included (buffet). The range of dishes is quite wide - porridge, omelette, casserole, pasta, sausages, salads, pizza, pastries. The list of dishes is the same every day, but you can eat in a variety of ways. The food is delicious, there are no complaints. Only porridges have a lot of sugar and little salt (but this is in my subjective opinion). You can have lunch and dinner for 500 rubles/person. We didn't go because we didn't feel like eating in the evening, and we usually weren't at the hotel for lunch.
It's a five-minute walk to the sea. The beach has its own sun beds and umbrellas. Some umbrellas are torn in places, it would be possible to change them. There was a Malibu hotel area next to us, they obviously have more well-groomed umbrellas. We went to the sea in the morning and sometimes in the evening. Maybe we were lucky, but there were always sun beds (and there were 5 of us).
In summary, I can say that the overall impression of the hotel is normal, you can go. The room is clean (except for the shower cabin), cleaning is daily, the food is acceptable, the view from the window is beautiful, the administrator is attentive, the hotel territory is well maintained (benches, gazebos, plantings), close to the sea.
we rested with my mother from 17.08 to 24.08. a very good hotel for your money) the location is convenient, not very far from the sea, 5 minutes (we rested in the 2nd building). I would like to mention the dining room separately. better than in any restaurant, the girls cook with a soul!! a meal costs 500 rubles, a buffet, a huge selection. they are cleaned every other day, towels can be changed when needed. There is animation and entertainment for children. transfer from the hotel to Adler train station for 800 rubles. everything is clean and tidy. We really liked it.
We had a rest with our family from 30.08 to 8.09. We lived in apartments of the 4th building. The hotel is just great, clean, well maintained. Towels were cleaned every day, bed linen was changed. The food in the dining room is beyond praise. We ate in cafes on the embankment, but we did not find it better than it was in the hotel. The food is varied, always meat, fish, fruits. The receptionists are polite and attentive. Definitely, I advise you to relax!
We have been to this hotel twice. Now they have their own beach. I liked everything very much. The dining room is very tasty. The administration resolves any issues very quickly. We arrived for the second time, Svetlana gave us a bottle of wine for lunch. Very nice). The hotel is clean. The Magnolia Hotel is better than many expensive hotels in Turkey with big stars. (There is something to compare it with). Prosperity to you.
We stayed in Magnolia in June 2023 for 14 days.
The overall impression is quite a decent hotel, a solid five for Abkhazia.
Positive:
- the hotel is located almost in the center of the "new" city, 400 m from the embankment and the beach (10 min walk).
Grocery stores are located nearby, including the Gagra shopping center with an Assorted supermarket (bank cards are accepted), a market (1 km), canteens and cafes. Of the canteens, I would like to mention the Canteen No. 2 at the school located behind the San Marina Hotel, where they cook delicious at home.
- private beach with sun beds;
- private heated and illuminated swimming pool;
- there are gazebos on the territory where you can relax in the shade;
- excellent buffet-style meals with a wide variety of dishes;
- regularly conducted children's animation;
- friendly and helpful staff;
- cleanliness in the common areas;
- comfortable and clean rooms (in the room: TV, electric kettle, air conditioning, refrigerator). A big plus of the rooms is the presence of private balconies;
- good, stable wi-fi (the connection code is valid for 10 days, after which a new one is issued).
Cons:
- there are few sunbeds on your own beach. But this was not a problem for us, because we went to a semi-wild beach located behind the market, where there are few vacationers;
- mosquitoes in the evening, but mosquito nets on the windows save them from them. I do not recommend leaving the balcony door open at night. To fight mosquitoes, I advise you to take an electric fumigator from home, it does not take up much space in your luggage.

The food is delicious. Everyone can choose a dish for themselves. I liked that if I didn't have time for dinner (I went on a tour from the hotel), dinner is brought to the room. The rooms are simple. The balconies are small. There is a TV showing enough channels. There is Wi-Fi in the room

The water is always cold and hot.
There is a private pool. The territory is well maintained.
A great family hotel. We lived in the 4th building for 10 days in the first half of July, new and spacious rooms, impeccable bed linen, pillows, blankets and mattresses. Cleaning is daily, towels and linen are changed regularly. A small tip to the maid in gratitude and as a gift swans and virtuoso towel products ☺️
The sea is a 10-minute walk away. There is a private pool, which was almost always free. The only inconvenience was that I had to go to the 2nd building to the dining room. But it wasn't a burden either.
The hostess of the hotel, a pleasant woman, always controlled the situation, especially in the dining room when there was a large influx of people. The dishes are always familiar, delicious at home. We came to the dining room half an hour before closing time, everything was always there. By the beginning of work, there are no empty tables.
The beach is private, with free umbrellas and sun beds. Due to the large influx of vacationers, in the middle of our vacation, at 9:00 there were no free deck chairs. As is customary with us, vacationers occupied them from early in the morning and pulled up for lunch. There are sun loungers and umbrellas for rent near the hotel beach. 500rubles per day - 1 umbrella and 2 sun loungers. Moreover, they are very close to the sea, the beauty…
Rotavirus, the scourge of our Black Sea coast, struck only a 10-year-old son this time. I was ready for this, the medications helped me cope in 2 days. Thanks to the girls from the dining room, they gave broth and rice to the room.
The nature of Abkhazia is fascinating, we were convinced by the excursions that are sold both in the department and on any corner.
I really liked the hotels, everything was very good, thanks a lot at the reception Olga told me everything well and prompted me. The dining room is just super, thanks to all the girls. A nice pool when there was a hurricane, the child was there. Great room cleaning, too, thanks a lot. It was our first time here. And we were very, very satisfied. For me personally, I didn't find any disadvantages at all. We lived in the 2nd building. It is fenced, which is convenient. In the courtyard of the gazebo, there is a place to sit. There is a designated smoking area. There is a swimming pool with sun beds. The water is good and clean. And it was cleaned daily. The dining room is on the 1st floor. Everything is delicious. And I'm very picky about food. The choice of dishes is huge. And fruits and sweets, and the first and second are all diverse, and drinks, well, just for every taste. There were even broth, crackers and kefir (apparently for those who got sick), we were just sick for one day with the whole family and I was grateful for such a menu. The dining room is clean and cozy.
They write about Inna's ill-will. I don't know, everything was fine with us. I met her and told her everything about the hotel and about the excursions. The person works 24/7. You're going on vacation. On the joys and positivity.It is quite possible that she did not smile somewhere. But they didn't notice any anger. She checked us in absolutely free of charge at 10:00, although check-in is from 14:00. We arrived early-we were checked in.
I liked that the water was running well in the room (3rd floor), there were no interruptions. Clear. We changed the towels. And even beach tickets were issued daily. Kettle,hair dryer,refrigerator,TV,split-everything worked. They put fumitox against mosquitoes. There are a lot of mosquitoes. But the hotel has nothing to do with it. There are a lot of them on the beach just in the evening. Everyone was killed, the windows were closed and voila beauty.
Rotovirus also does not depend much on the hotel. We got to know other families, from other hotels - we were sick too.
There are sun beds on the beach. We had enough. We came to the beach at 08:30 and occupied 3 sunbeds quietly.
It takes 4-5 minutes to walk to the beach, I spotted it right. The beach is clean, there is a locker room. A point with drinks. There is only no toilet. We need to go higher in the cafe.
Oh, yes, there is a wonderful store next to the hotel. Which is extremely convenient. It takes 10 minutes to get to the railway station by taxi. It took 15-20 minutes to get to the Seaside Park.
We conducted animation and a foam party for children.
We had a family vacation from July 3 to July 7, 2024. In general, we were very satisfied with the service, especially I want to express my gratitude to Olga at the reception of the 1st building. A very attentive and pleasant girl. The kitchen is just super, like at home, in short, we were not hungry. Everything is clean and tidy. The only negative is mosquitoes, but they said they are always in the city and there are traces and blood of dead insects on the walls in the room. It's not very pleasant. Otherwise, be sure to come back.
The hotel is nice, clean and cozy, towels and bed linen are changed during the stay (4+). There is no elevator- it is very inconvenient for mothers with children (you will carry the suitcase yourself to the 4th floor))! Meals breakfast / dinner - for those who are used to eating minced meat products, fatty sweet or highly salty food (3+). The mistress of spiritual purity is a little man! but...... it all started with the arrival at this hotel: the BOORISH Administrator INNA - ruined the whole idea of this place (although she saw how tired we were and thoroughly wet), SHE DID NOT CONSIDER THE NUMBERS / FORCED US TO REWRITE, then in the morning they came up again to ask what and how - but in response they again heard boorish speeches (I DO NOT KNOW, ETC.) SHE SITS THE WHOLE VACATION WITH SUCH A FACE AS IF A BILLION TRAVELERS WERE STOLEN FROM HER - AFTER TALKING WITH VACATIONERS, IT TURNED OUT THAT WE ARE NOT THE FIRST TO WHOM SUCH AN APPEAL!!! In the evening, after 21.00, the administrator is absent from his workplace - it is not possible to get through! if the child gets sick, you will not get help! I WOULD HAVE PUT 4* - BUT INNA!!!! :(
