Beautiful views, but to climb the plateau, it takes a lot of effort. We take water with us. There are cold drinks and ice cream in the cafe downstairs, but it's downstairs.
An interesting, historical place in the Shumen district of Bulgaria. The bas-relief on the rock depicts one of the first khans, the first Bulgarian state. On the reverse side of any small Bulgarian coin there is this image. On the top of the mountain, the remains of the fortress have been destroyed. Very close to Pliska, which was the first capital of the state.
I have a double feeling for this place: on the one hand, a rather majestic place, and on the other hand, a mountain on which a drawing is embossed and there is nothing else there.
It is a little difficult to see the details in stone because of the time, but the scale and diligence of that time is worth appreciating.
