The place is very popular with the tourists, which becomes evident especially in the evenings (the restaurant is often full). We have been there only once, ordered khinkali and were not expecting to see them any time soon (because usually it takes the longest time to prepare them in every place we have visited in Sakartvelo) but our order was prepared surprisingly fast. Also, we really liked khinkalis and thought they were better than the ones we have in Batumi.
Nice cozy cafe!!! Excellent service!!! Friendly staff!!! Delicious cuisine!!! Excellent Georgian wine!!! I really liked khinkali and salad!!! And also sweets!!!
This is the third time we have visited this restaurant, and each visit leaves only positive impressions! We visited here for the first time in the summer, and then couldn't resist returning in January and February. The cuisine here is simply magnificent — the dishes are always at the highest level, and the chefs are always pleased with the quality and taste.
I would like to mention the mulled wine separately — it is one of the best we have tried here. And khinkali... oh, that's a separate love! It is a real rarity to find such delicious khinkali in Svaneti. The portions are generous, and the hospitality of the hosts creates an incredibly cozy atmosphere.
The only caveat is that it's almost impossible to get here in the evening without a reservation, as the restaurant is consistently "sold out". But this only confirms its popularity and high level! We definitely recommend it!
I really liked this place, probably the best restaurant in the city. We visited 4 times, tried a lot of the menu, favorites: shish kebab, ajapsandal (the best that we tried in Georgia!), lobiani, khachapuri are all amazing (I recommend trying local, with svam green millet - an unusual taste!), tomato and cucumber salad with nut sauce.
Khinkali with meat is normal, with potatoes and mushrooms for three - too much salt.
Everything is always fresh, freshly cooked, and the portions are large. They cook fast enough.
I definitely recommend you to visit!
We came here based on a recommendation, but were disappointed. We ordered two servings of eggplant and two servings of salad with nuts, khinkali and yogurt for four people. After 40 minutes, they brought us only eggplant and one simple salad. We're already cold and tired. An hour later, it turned out that we were not going to get yogurt - no one even told us about it) In short, the food is delicious, but we are very disappointed, we waited a long time, we were frozen and we didn't really eat enough. The staff didn't care, and even pointing out that they counted what they didn't bring in the end, no one apologized and just went into the kitchen with the words "yes, yes, I understand." 🤌
The food is delicious, but nothing incredible. There is no special atmosphere either. So for those who want to eat what they ordered and not wait 30 years, I advise you to go somewhere else.
If anything, when we arrived there were 3-4 tables occupied
Everything was fine when they arrived, but they brought a meat dish with almost no meat, only bones and fat. A huge showdown began, they swore at me, insulted me, shouted at me in Georgian, I proved to them that there were only bones and fat there, but they said that there was so much meat there, we left and did not say anything further, there are many delicious places in Mestia, it's better to go somewhere else. The woman in the photo was yelling at me and my girlfriend really hard, it was unbearable.
A great cafe or restaurant (I don't understand the difference for Georgia), located in Mestia near Liberty Bank. Everything is delicious, there is a barbecue made of fresh meat, it is financially accessible, there are many visitors, there are plenty of places and tables. Great terrace with mountain views.
A great restaurant! Everything is very tasty! The kitchen is 100%! The portions are large, the prices are reasonable. I recommend kubdari and ajapsandal, you should definitely try it!
The place is a fairy tale, for me it's the best restaurant in Mestia. I have never tasted better than kubdari there. They didn't have time to take a picture, they ate it instantly) Ojahuri and fried eggplant are cooked perfectly - everything is soft, juicy, but with a crust. The interior is a separate song, the ceiling and walls are hung with objects of the ancient life of the Svans, the design is very interesting. I want to consider it . It is interesting and beautiful.
The restaurant is chic, the atmosphere is wonderful, the dishes are very tasty, we were there three times; the waiting time is average, the staff is kind, which is not a little important in Mestia
Delicious! Quickly! Atmospheric!
Georgia has been in Georgia for 2 weeks, the most delicious khinkali here, Kindzmarauli wine jug for 22 lari, and very decent. I recommend. I'm adding a photo. We also took goat meat with tomatoes and a cupcake-homemade chocolate cake -🔥🔥🔥
The food is delicious, there is a small problem with the Russian-speaking waiters. Another minus is a lot of people, respectively, have to wait. But I definitely recommend you to visit.
A very average place in general, the atmosphere is very average, the kitchen is mediocre, the service is very long, but the most annoying thing was that we were socialized and we were not alone.
It is difficult to call a restaurant, but an expensive canteen is possible. Shish kebab is delicious and khachapuri in Adjarian only-only they have 3 stars. Kharcho soup without sour cream is simply impossible to eat very spicy and a lot of bones and fat, although it looks like a lot of meat. Ojahuri is spicy but edible . Mushrooms with cheese ( cheese was greedy ) potatoes with Svan salt are not bad and khinkali
This is the most disgusting restaurant in all of Georgia! The word "service" is clearly unfamiliar to the employees of this eatery!
We came to Mestia for an excursion, according to the program, the group was brought to have dinner at this institution. The food was taken out for a long time, there was confusion with orders. As a result, when we only had to wait for the sauce for the barbecue, the waitress poured satsebeli over us with the young man! I spent about 20 minutes in the bathroom trying to wash the sauce off my sweater, trousers and sneakers as much as possible. All the clothes were wet, everything stank of sauce! Returning to the common room, I observe a picture - the restaurant staff, instead of apologizing, swear with my boyfriend and demand to pay the bill for dinner in full (which we didn't really have time to touch), arguing that "well, she accidentally doused you"! As a result, we spent another 30 minutes clarifying relations with the staff, paid them half the bill and went to dinner at another cafe.
The next day, other tourists from our group also said that the food there was tasteless, and the staff was inadequate.
There are really cool, delicious places in Mestia, but it's definitely not at this address!
Compared to other places in Mestia, the dishes are greasy, it takes a long time to wait, the stated time of 30 minutes has turned into 50. Khinkali similar to dumplings
we stopped by by accident, just the first restaurant. already in Moscow, reading reviews about poisoning, I was surprised. Everything went great with us. )))) far from budget prices. the staff does not know Russian, but speaks passable English. there is a Russian menu, slightly different from the Georgian-English version.

Everything is delicious here! I recommend it! Friendly staff, speak Russian! Excellent service!
They were very badly poisoned. They ordered a national dish of potatoes with cheese, which three out of 4 people ate, so three of them had two days out of their lives, hellish pains, vomiting and diarrhea.
