Good food with big portions. Lovely menu and staffs are all nice. The ambience is like a time-travel and it’s very cozy. The beef tartare is the superstar of their menu.

An institution with a history and traditions! That's what attracted me. Despite the gloom inside and the uncomfortable landing, we decided to spend the evening there and celebrate a family event ... moreover, we had a positive experience visiting the line brew in Astana.
Well, what can I say? Do you want the truth? I can't do it any other way!
Jelly, stew, marrow bone, ear - bomb!
But the steak itself (ordered of the highest category - 500 g dry maturation) was as dry as grass. The edges are charred, according to the sentiment along the edge, the inside is brown. Anyone who knows will understand. It is impossible to eat without sauce. Hurtful. We had hopes. Because we know what a real steak is.
In addition, it is important to note that it is very noisy and the service is not fast.
I hope it will be better with the opening of the terrace, because inside, the room is outdated, in need of renovation and freshness, and the chef, apparently, is on a good vacation, burned out a long time ago, like our steak!

The best steak is the Devil. Always good. Salads are always delicious, especially dried beetroot with cheese. I recommend. The beer is not bad either. The atmosphere is like in a pub. But I had to visit this restaurant in Astana many times.
The cuisine is great, especially the steaks. The level of service is also excellent. The staff is polite and considerate. The service is fast. The atmosphere in the halls is on a level and conducive to relaxation.

My favorite restaurant in Almaty. We were with my husband in the summer, it was a pity there was no horse meat, the Devil and Angus ate. My husband is delighted with the cuisine, they even took some of the dishes with them. The location is excellent, the service is excellent, the atmosphere on the roof is excellent. Now, he is not only a restaurateur but also the owner of other business areas. These establishments were previously run by his mother. A very bright and pleasant woman in all respects. At the same time, there were problems with cleanliness in the toilet, after going there, the sole of the shoe "stuck" to the surface of the earth for some time. They asked us to pack a dessert with them, they just "crumpled" it and gave it to us, we didn't even understand right away (by the way, the child was offended at home). The congratulatory dessert "Napoleon" was brought very tasty. During the calculation, they were not allowed to make a discount payment, because the card was not with them!?!? And by phone number, no way. We were asked to have a card ( (she was at home), in general, we paid without a discount. I will attach photos of the dessert before and after. We stayed on 08/23/2022. In the evening, they left early, there was a child with us.
