The best place to stop in Istanbul. Firstly, the location is excellent, a stone's throw from the central square and transport, and at the same time it is perfectly quiet, the hotel is located in the back streets from the crowds and noise, which is difficult to find in the center. The Bosphorus embankment is a minute walk away. And the tram stop is also 2-3 minutes in the other direction. Everything in this family is carefully coordinated.Friendly hosts, perfectly clean, the room is thoughtful in everything, the presence of a refrigerator, safe and even blackout curtains, stationary light is both bright and muted, and of course not just the presence of an air conditioner, but also its location in the room, working, it does not blow on any bed. The Wi-Fi is good, they will give it to you right at the reception. There is a shower room with a toilet, nothing leaks anywhere, there has always been water in the bathroom, although this is a historical center and there is always a problem with water in other places.Towels were changed daily and shampoos, gels and soaps were provided, drinking water and tea bags were brought. there was even a teapot with cups, which was very useful, because it's impossible not to buy Turkish sweets on the way, and then enjoy them after a day of walking. We had a double room with a view of the construction site, I don't know who was bothered by it, we were quite comfortable, we walked in the city all day, we came tired, there was no sound from the construction site, and that's the main thing. We slept like the dead, the beds were comfortable, and I'm very picky about this issue due to my age.
About the breakfasts, everything was delicious, you can drink coffee and tea as much as you want, in addition to the omelet, there were seasonal delicious fruits and homemade cakes, and traditional Turkish dishes, the ideal menu for three days of stay, perhaps a week would be fine, but the composition of the dishes almost does not change. What are your priorities here?))We'd love to stay there for a week. There is also a terrace and an enclosed area with a view of the Bosphorus. Because it was a hot July, we were only sitting in the buried part with the condee, it was already hot enough on the terrace at 8 a.m. under the umbrellas. But there were also brave souls))
About the owners, besides the fact that the people are friendly, responsive and calm, I can say that they are also resourceful. I'm not particularly friendly with English, I understand, but I speak poorly, the owners and staff know English well, but they opened a translator on my phone for me, I wrote in Russian and the dialogue took place))) It was important to me. I had a problem checking in for the return flight, and everyone, without exception, rushed to help me. It was nice that strangers were worried about us. And since we had a late flight, and we also wanted to go for a walk in the afternoon, we kindly left our belongings at the hotel under strict security.
About the road, it's perfectly safe to get by transport from the ist airport, we were light, so we refused the taxi offer. The journey by metro and then by tram takes 2 hours. We left our luggage in the luggage room, so we could continue on.and we calmly got back to the airport late in the evening. What is convenient is that you can calculate the time more accurately than by car. So, if you are light, then I advise you to go on your own, at the same time you will already taste the beauty and originality of the city.
Concluding the story, I can say that this was our second time in Istanbul, and the experience of the first time showed that I had been studying reviews and hotels for 2 months for a reason. This hotel is perfect for us from price to quality. We will definitely come back here, because confidence and calmness are very important on vacation. And, by the way, according to our recommendation, our friends with two children stayed there, they were more than satisfied, because . All the times they visited Istanbul, they had never seen such quality and attitude. And this is the face of this proud and beautiful city.
The location is very convenient, near Hagia Sophia. There are a lot of cafes and shops around. Stop T1 is within walking distance. The hotel is cozy. The rooms are crumbly, please note - there is nowhere to put the suitcase. Repair is not tired. Shampoo, shower gel, slippers, hairdryer in the room. The breakfast is simple, without frills. You can hand-feed the seagulls on the veranda for breakfast. The staff is excellent, the guys at the reception are always ready to help, prompt. I was allowed to leave my luggage before check-in. The reservation was without prepayment, the cost was preserved upon check-in, no taxes were charged. We liked everything, I can safely recommend the hotel!
Very nice hotel in the area. The main thing is that there is no spiral staircase, the hotel is not old or wooden, and there are no foreign odors. I have stayed in various hotels in the area, but this hotel is in the first place of all, on the second Kaftanhotel. Nice staff, cleaning service every day. The bed is comfortable, satellite TV and several Russian channels. The audibility is certainly strong. While no one was there, it was quiet as the tenants moved in-everything became audible, especially the conversations and flushing of the toilet bowl from the neighbors. The room has a kettle, cups, glasses and tea-coffee, sugar and water were added every day-it just surprised me. The breakfasts were monotonous, but the child and I were full. Yes, the view from the terrace is beautiful, and it's also nice to watch the seagulls beg for food. The location is good, the sights are all nearby. There is a train stop nearby, which turned out to be very convenient. It takes 10 minutes to get to tram T1, and 2 minutes to get to the train, and this proximity does not interfere at all. There is also a mosque very close by, but we were so tired that we didn't pay attention to it.
A very pleasant hotel in the heart of Istanbul. Iconic sights are 10 minutes away on foot. There is also a tram stop, you can drive to the other shore. Good breakfasts, stunning views of the water and rooftops from the terrace. Seagulls screaming in the morning... what else do you need to relax? Friendly, helpful staff, the rooms have everything you need. Fresh renovation. In general, I recommend it.
A great hotel for your money! The location is in the very center, two minutes walk from Hagia Sophia, and at the same time in a quiet courtyard, away from the noise! The guys at the reception are very helpful: they have everything you wouldn't ask for - water, an iron, and even a luggage scale! The room is in a modern style, not at all small, equipped with everything you need: there is a refrigerator, kettle, hairdryer, safe, central air conditioning, TV with Russian channels! Change of towels and room cleaning every day! An open veranda with 24-hour access is right at the top of the hotel! The breakfasts are not very diverse, but fragrant strawberries, rich in fiber and antioxidants, made my morning wonderful, energizing for the whole day! We will be happy to stay in Ligos again!!!
It's a lovely hotel, clean and cozy. The room is very bright, there are towels, hairdryer, slippers, shower gel and shampoo. Cleaning is regular. The air conditioner works for both heat and cold. Delicious breakfasts with a large selection of dishes. Amazing view from the terrace, which is open around the clock. Friendly staff.
Very convenient location of the hotel, all the main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel has a hearty breakfast, and there are plenty of restaurants for the evening. I recommend.
A small, cozy hotel with caring staff. If desired, one could find something to complain about, but there was no desire. The location couldn't be better because the main attractions are at least 5 minutes away. The breakfasts are not bad, and the view of the Marmara Sea is a fire! I recommend.

Nice hotel, the room is small, but clean and cozy. The hotel is located near the Blue Mosque, 10 minutes on foot. There are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. There is a beautiful embankment nearby. The buffet breakfast is small, but the food is fresh and delicious. view from the terrace to the Bosphorus.
The hotel itself is sparkling clean and looks very nice. The guys at the reception will always help
Cool little hotel! Beautiful view from the terrace. Having breakfast with a view of the Bosphorus is especially pleasant! The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful!
The location is excellent, the center of the old district of Istanbul (Fatih).
Great hotel! If there is an opportunity to return to this beautiful city, we will definitely stay at this hotel! Great hotel! The terrace, breakfasts, rooms, staff are the best!!!
The room is small but nice. There is no elevator. Breakfast food for 3+ is for my taste. The hotel itself offered a transfer to the airport, I paid the day before departure and asked 3 times which car would arrive - without an answer. There was no car at the appointed 6 a.m., nor at 6:15 a.m. The night manager called a taxi: a small fiat for the same money, there was no time to deal with the payment.
A nice and clean hotel in a quiet location, warm atmosphere, room cleaning, towel change and replenishment of hygiene products every day, all the main attractions nearby are within walking distance. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Marmara Sea. The staff is very friendly and sociable. Special thanks to the girl Dako (works in the kitchen), knows Russian very well, gave a lot of useful information and advice)) I am also very grateful to the guy at the reception, his name is Salih - he speaks excellent English, helps with everything.
Mini hotel, in the historical part of the city. The main attractions are 5-7 minutes away on foot. The rooms are very small, it is not convenient for two to separate. Comfortable bed, clean linen. We lived in room 501, claimed a sea view, really Windows into the windows of a house under construction. There is garbage from the construction site below. The breakfasts are more than modest. Monotonous, except for hard-boiled eggs and local sausages in tomato, nothing hot is offered. Fried potatoes and pasta were for breakfast - not tasty. Coffee and a cheese sandwich saved the day. The staff is friendly. The woman spoke Russian only in the cafe, and English at the reception. Overall, it's a good hotel, but we won't go to it a second time.
Excellent location. It is quiet, cozy, and the room has everything you need. Kettle, refrigerator, hair dryer, Air conditioner, TV.
Breakfast on the veranda. Monotonous but very satisfying. You won't stay hungry.
Responsive staff.
A very cozy, clean hotel.I liked the breakfasts, if the weather allows, you can sit on the outdoor terrace and admire the views of the Bosphorus. The location of the hotel is also a huge plus-all the attractions are at hand.I would like to express my special gratitude to the hotel staff, they were always friendly and smiling, cleaned the room every day, tea, coffee, shampoos, soap were also replenished every day.
A wonderful hotel. New, clean, in the heart of the city, overlooking the Bosphorus, while in a quiet place. Wonderful breakfasts on the veranda. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Istanbul.
The room is very small and stuffy. It's too bad there's no elevator, just a staircase. The view from the restaurant is very beautiful. The breakfasts are delicious.
The hotel is nice, nice, tidy, great location. I'm taking away one star for breakfast, the worst I've ever met. All 5 days are the same (boiled eggs, shriveled sausages, underdone with a mountain of mayonnaise, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, sliced, cookies) there were no scrambled eggs, no porridge)
