Advantages of the hotel: location. Practically in the center, close to tram stops and metro. The breakfasts are varied, delicious and satisfying.
Cons: very small room. The bed occupied almost the entire room, and people moved sideways around the bed. The window overlooked the courtyard, and it wouldn't be a disadvantage if there wasn't a staff smoking room downstairs. It was impossible to open the window and ventilate! Immediately, the room was filled with tobacco smoke. For some reason, our room was cleaned after 5 p.m., which was very inconvenient: we left in the morning, returned around 4 p.m., and then had to leave again. The hotel's 9.4 rating is clearly overstated.
A small but very cozy hotel in the heart of Sultan Ahmet district.
It is a very convenient location for hiking to most of the historical sites of the area. Everything is within walking distance.
The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and warm. Good sound insulation.
The breakfast is quite decent for a 4 star hotel. Every day there was something new on the menu.
I recommend this hotel for a vacation in Istanbul.
