A nice compact hotel with its own beach. Everything is nearby, while there is a lobby bar, a beach bar and a cafe from 11 to 17 between the beach and the pool. Free billiards and small tennis. There are always free sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. The staff are kind and helpful people. There is more than enough food, but it is almost always the same. It gets boring in a week. But taking into account free alcohol, including imported, food is just a snack ;)
Fly in the ointment: the rooms are VERY tired. If something is broken, most likely no one will be able to fix it.

We had a rest in December 2024. Great hotel! Exceeded all our expectations.We were so scared by the "dead " rooms and the lack of food. Fortunately, everything was fine.They placed me in a room immediately, and at my request they gave me a room on the second floor.By the way, very soft mattresses, fresh white linen.Of course, you can find fault with nutrition - soups are usually over-salted, the meat is tough, but ice cream is very tasty for lunch and dinner.In principle, there is a choice and we didn't go hungry.The bartenders in all the bars are very friendly and happy to pour whatever you order. I wish the animators would work more actively.We were not very lucky with the weather - it was stormy and people wandered in anguish between the bars.But in general, we are very happy with the rest, and if it were not for such a heavy flight, we can come again.

We arrived from this hotel just a week ago. Well, I was warned that you shouldn't expect much from a 4* hotel in Cuba, but still I didn't expect this. OK, there are difficulties with food everywhere in Cuba, but cockroaches on the distribution, from the first to the last day-for me, this is too much.. The rooms are not only tired, but also dirty. Towels and bed linen are stained, the bedspreads and pillows frankly stink. The trickle in the shower is barely flowing, the water is barely warm. There were mostly Canadians and Russians in the hotel, unlimited rum made itself felt, and there was a complete feeling that you were in Anapa. Considering the price of the tour, compared to other countries, it is certainly very expensive. I do not recommend this hotel, choose carefully

A wonderful hotel! We are resting from May 1-15, 2024. I like everything very much, the rooms are comfortable, good beds and luxurious pillows. The rooms are cleaned by maids every day. Towels are provided for the beach and for the shower. The foot mat is brought a day or two after arrival. Delicious ice cream every day! You will always find something to eat from food! The ocean is gorgeous! Everything is side by side. I really like the hotel and its territory. There are few Russians, but you managed to find friends. The rooms have a mini fridge, TV with 4 Russian channels, iron and ironing board, bedside tables, lamps. We are on the 3rd floor, there are no mosquitoes, but we took mosquitol just in case. Balconies in each room. Air conditioners cool the room well and quickly. The staff is very good, kind people)) The pool is gorgeous, the ocean is flying away. I'm leaving soon, but I don't feel like it.... If you ever have to return to Cuba again, then I don't want to consider other hotels anymore, this one is fine. Peace and quiet, who wants to hang out, there is enough of it, in the evenings animators, dancing, 3 bars. Russian Russian vacationer brought a column with him, turned on our Russian pop music for the Easter holiday and all the Russians were having fun until 2 a.m.) I liked the rest! You can light it, the main thing would be strength and desire, it quickly cuts off sleep here))) In general, everything is super!

It's a terrible hotel, this is the first time such a service has been provided for my adventure, my wife and I arrived, we didn't expect anything special from Cuba, but it's not so bad from a 4-star hotel, they don't want to do anything in the hotel if you don't give a dollar, we give it better, but it's only at the bar, the second day there is no rum in the hotel, there is no coffee, no whiskey, no milk, no eggs, you come and they say FINISH to everything, the rooms are dirty, there is no animation in the hotel, everything is missing from the word at all, cockroaches are running around the kitchen, frying on dirty plates in oil, you ask to wipe and cook normally, they grumble and snort, the plates are dirty nothing there is no constant, not that everything is on, but everything is off, and for this we go to Varadero and eat there, because there is simply nothing to eat and drink at the hotel! Apart from beer and water, there are no pina coladas today, they only pour vodka, it's disgusting! I don't recommend it to anyone! The most terrible hotel in 15 years of continuous travel, nothing but cockroaches, dirt and vile attitude towards people. Nightmare.

We stayed at the hotel from November 2 to November 13.I liked the hotel very much, the attitude towards tourists is wonderful, regardless of citizenship.The food is decent, we always found something to taste for ourselves, ice cream,pies,fruits (papaya, bananas, passion fruit, pineapples), mango juice, agave!!!The beach : the indescribable beauty of the ocean, the purest white sand, a bar with drinks, Bounty!!I would love to come back here again!

We rested from the second half of September until the very beginning of October. The rest left more positive emotions. The room itself is very well maintained, pleasant, the room is air conditioned, there are balconies, THERE are NO MIDGES / MOSQUITOES and other living creatures, since often the surroundings are sprayed with a special mixture and if you are hit by a plane with such a sprinkler, I recommend immediately swimming in the ocean and then in the room, it does not itch and does not affect anything, but that's it the same… So the hotel itself is very well maintained, with a swimming pool, sun beds on the beach and a tavern with a bar both there and there, but there is no beer at the beach bar by 12, which is very sad, since on vacation everyone knows that you start tomorrow with beer and end the day with it too))) Kitchen (tomorrow-lunch-dinner) it may seem tasteless, but this is only in our European-Asian opinion, for Cubans and Spaniards it is normal, so if you like everything fish / seafood, then you will come in, and if not, then endure, as little salt and pepper, potatoes / sweet potatoes are sweet, pork and beef are not much in seasonings salt and pepper, so you have to plant them yourself, watermelons are not about anything, and everything else is very interesting, for example - guava) Salads are also not for our stomach, BUT it will all move aside when you see how well-groomed beaches, free beaches, clean beaches along with the ocean, which is never and there is nothing to convey. All this can be forgotten and overshadowed if the service will and learns how to make normal cocktails, because alcohol and cocktails would have already written off more than half of the disadvantages to you (please send the staff to train beautiful and delicious cocktails and believe me you will always have only positive feedback) and the ocean, it is without similar, attractive, seductive, charming, mind-blowing and gorgeous. You will not see such water in any country in the world, it is so good that we felt bad for the first two days, as we refused to leave it and completely burned like a barbecue. It is not refreshing, no, imagine that you go into a warm bathroom in winter to keep warm, that's the extent the ocean is warm and good, plus there are no waves and at first we thought that it was always completely calm here, until the Pendos had a storm and we spent three days on the bar with Russians, Ukrainians, Uzbeks, Germans, By Canadians… These two weeks with these people showed us just paradise, there was Sanya, the past Afghan, and Lech from Moscow, and Vitalik from Kazakhstan, and Alexey from Canada and Frau Deutschland, whom I did not remember)) In short, fly safely if you are not confused by the 14 hours of summer, the food associated with fish and some restrictions associated with eternal sanctions on this paradisiacal country and the skeleton. I liked the hotel! I had a vacation in May 2024 with my daughter, 7 years old. We had a cheerful company of Russians, so we walked a lot, laughed, and rested. It would be more boring that way. Animation is only in broken English and Spanish. There is a children's club, but again these languages, the daughter was afraid to stay. There was always a show in the evening - we liked it.
Alcoholic cocktails are normal, at night they gave Spanish beer in cans in the bar. There were Spanish wines, the champagne was delicious. Rum is poured so-so, but you can tip and ask for a good one - they will do it. The main thing is to be smiling.
By food - if you do not take all kinds of everything at once, then in 13 days I always ate different things and did not get bored, except for the last few days. For breakfast I ate mostly fried eggs, made hot sandwiches, cheese, ham, vegetables. For lunch, the chicken soup is delicious and grilled. There were no lobsters, the fish was white for dinner, tuna. Not every day, but if anything, beef/chicken saves. Sometimes cockroaches ran around where vegetables were, but they were constantly closed during the day for cleaning and disinfection. We and a group of 15 other people have never complained about bellies. They make hot sandwiches at the beach from 3 to 5, we were starved after the ocean. The beach bar is so-so in terms of alcohol, not very happy guys are working, there are showers by the pool and in the lobby.
The coffee is awesome, it's made in the lobby.
By number, yes, tired; but I expected it to be worse. We dried things on the balconies, everything dried out overnight.
Ocean - there are few people, compared to neighboring Melia, as if on a desert island.
You can take a couple of free rides on a catamaran or yacht.
A sunbed, an umbrella is free, you just need to go to the lifeguard and they will put it on you, they will bring it. The entrance to the ocean is gentle, the water was gorgeous (28-30 degrees), and most importantly clean.
Mom saw enough of my photos and then flew to rest after a couple of days of our flight.

But, in February, the pool is cold, but there is enough ocean) the food is honestly not very tasty, fish, meat, rice, everything else is impossible to eat, especially salads. I did not like the cocktails, the wine and sangria were delicious, my husband said the rum was not bad, but I know that the rum was better in other hotels. The animation is suffering, they couldn't give us a volleyball ball for a week. But if you take it as a whole and understand that the food is like this everywhere, then it's okay

I don't know they don't know how to cook them even from a decent selection of ingredients! One thing pleases the ocean, it smoothes out all the flaws! A decent hotel for its 4 stars. A bright room with a full-length window, a double bed could probably accommodate four people!
The menu was not bad, we mostly ate fruits and meat. Freshly squeezed juice and grilled dishes are prepared. Concerts and shows in the evening.
The hotel is small and this is its undoubted advantage, the beach is quite free, the hotel has direct access to the beach with the purest white sand and the emerald sea!
However, there were some incidents, already leaving for the airport, we got stuck in the elevator, but everything was resolved safely, the doors opened and we got out!

A good, inexpensive, slightly tired hotel. We were in March - April 2024. The biggest joy is that nowhere here (bars, pool, dining room, beach, lobby) was there pandemonium and a battle for a "place in the sun" :) everyone had enough of everything. The cocktails were delicious, ~ once a week the workers climbed palm trees, knocked down coconuts and sold them :) The Internet was weak (although free) constantly flew, and over time a message appeared that the debt for services in the room, I had to go to the reception and ask to update our Internet access (I assume that instagram quickly ate up limited traffic :))
Aggregators indicate that this hotel does not have its own beach - this is a mistake. In Cuba, all beaches are state-owned, and hotels only place their sun beds there because of the location nearby, etc. This hotel also has its own sun beds on the nearest beach and +- there are enough of them. If there is not enough, then the staff always has a stack of sunbeds for rent :) on average, for $ 1. Well, as you agree.

Who goes to Cuba should understand that you will not receive top-level service (such as in the UAE and Turkey), as they say, do not be charmed, so as not to be disappointed. The hotel is designed for any kind of recreation. It is also suitable for outdoor activities, family, beach. The setting is unpretentious, but quite suitable. The room has everything: hair dryer, iron, safe, ironing board, refrigerator. I was worried that the Internet would be paid and only in Internet cafes, but my fears were in vain. Internet is available throughout the hotel and even on the beach. They give you 8 hours of Internet use per day. Tip: turn off Wi-Fi at night to meet the limit. At first, when I didn't know about the limit, I had to run to the reception and everything was connected to me again without any problems.
Let's move on to the food. The food is mainly served in one restaurant. There is not much variety. But meat, vegetables, fruits, and ice cream are quite tasty. There is a selection of natural juices. There may not always be wine in the restaurant. Beer, drinks (cola, fanta, etc.) are always available. There is not always bread.
Now we go to the lobby bar: nothing is served except alcohol, coffee and soft drinks. Alcohol is in a large assortment, ranging from several types of rum, cocktails, prosecco and ending with beer and wine. Beer on tap and bottled is very decent. There is a pool bar and a beach bar. There is the same assortment as in the lobby bar. Everything is very clean on the territory of the hotel, our room is cleaned every day.
Now about the most important thing: about the beach.
The beach is a maximum of 50 m from the hotel. Magnificent white sand, the water in the ocean is the purest. An ocean of fantastic beauty. There are umbrellas and sun beds on the beach (free of charge), there are few people, but on the neighboring beach of the neighboring hotel, which I mentioned above, people are like herrings in a barrel ...
Conclusion: the hotel fully corresponds to the price - quality parameter.

After arrival, we were without Internet for 2 days. Because the router broke down.
The room has not been cleaned of garbage from previous residents. The pillowcases stank of sweat. Towels and pillowcases are stained. Coffee is only for breakfast. There is no black tea. I wanted to drink coffee before breakfast this morning, but there is no coffee and there is no tea. This hotel does not pull in 4 stars.

Great hotel, good 4* for Cuba. The buffet is not bad, we did not stay hungry, pasta, meat of 2 types, salads, drinks cola, fanta, sprite, sometimes sausages, smoothies, vegetables and a meager selection of fruits. The hotel itself is small, but cozy and clean, 1 minute to the beach and it's great. In the evening, music or guest musicians are playing. Room cleaning every other day, shower gels and shampoos were put 1 time, if you want more, do not forget to tip. In general, if you want something more, then tips will do the trick. Have a good rest, everyone.
