Mixed opinion about Lanzhou
I met this cafe a year ago. Everything turned out to be delicious manti, lagman and mini portions of salads.
But recently my opinion about this institution has changed!
Mantas are often with a lot of fat, mini-portions of 50 g. micro-portions of salads have turned, sour cream and that manage to be portioned by different weights. The last straw was the chicken in sweet and sour Tang su ji sauce with a description - chicken fillet air batter, sweetness of honey and sourness of tomatoes! In fact, it turned out that the dish consists of most of the rice (although it was not even mentioned), dry fried pieces of chicken fillet in tomato paste. There was no batter from the word at all, the taste is sweet as if it were a dessert, what kind of sourness is there. I returned the dish and asked for a refund, to my indignation this was not a masterpiece, the young man who took the order began to argue that this was such an idea of the cook. The money was returned, there are zero apologies. For the founders of this cafe!!!!
Teach employees how to cook properly and interact with your customers!
You don't have to do it one time at a time..depends on the shift..it often happens that the broth is terribly salty, like water, just full of salt and pepper...although noodles are normal..mantas are also delicious..I don't like salads..cool steamed buns..
