We took a room for 4 people with 4 separate beds. The room is clean enough, there are even towels for everyone, which is generally rare in Mongolia. The shower is really hot and the pressure is good. There is a kettle and glasses in the room.
The location for cultural travelers is great - Gandan is a five-minute walk away, Genghis Khan Museum and Sukhbaatar Square are 20 minutes away. The Dinosaur Museum is 15 minutes away.
The only negative is breakfast from 9 a.m. and then, until you come, they won't start cooking. The breakfast itself is quite good, according to the European standard.
For unassuming tourists, the hotel is excellent.
Not once in 5 days have they cleaned or taken out the trash. It's dirty. There were remnants of soap accessories from past visitors. There is no hair dryer and was not provided upon request. For such a price, I consider a very bad hotel.
The only advantages are the convenient location in the city center, the rooms are relatively clean, if you ask!, bed linen and towels are cleaned and changed, there is a kettle and a TV.
And then there are some disadvantages:
1. The staff does not speak either Russian or English, they have to communicate through a Google translator, which requires a lot of time and nerves
2. There is no refrigerator, although they asked for help with storing perishable food
3. For inexplicable reasons, we were not allowed a free breakfast, even for money. The "restaurant" is open only in the mornings from 8.00 to 10.00 or on special orders
4. The staff does not have basic customer service skills: rude, twitchy, falls into a stupor, especially the girls "managers"
5. Wi-Fi is one name, the Internet freezes hard;
6. There is a bar on the second floor, from where loud music and screams of drunk visitors can be heard
7. Next door is a nightclub, aka karaoke, the music is booming, or until the morning
In general, there is zero marketing, they are not interested in customers.
