I am a guest of the capital of Uzbekistan. I was lucky to visit Lali's restaurant. I found out that its opening was not so long ago, but it feels like the restaurant already has a lot of credibility. Very convenient location, convenient seating, homely. The interior is quite concise, there is no pomposity. The kitchen is a special conversation. I'm from Russia and I'm not really familiar with the Uzbek menu. But the national dishes chosen, on the advice of the waiter, exceeded all my expectations. The beautifully decorated and deliciously prepared food pleased and delighted my taste sensations. Thank you for the kind meeting, the well-organized and correct work of the waiters, thank you for the skill of the chefs, for the quality of the products and the general atmosphere of comfort and for the pleasure. We were in Tashkent for 4 days. We discovered the Lali restaurant. Everything we've tried is very tasty: samsa!, manti!, pilaf, shish kebab, walleye in batter!, tobacco chicken, lagman, branded tortillas. I'm not a bread eater, but baking here is something! I recommend you try everything!

We really love all of Novikov's projects, but this restaurant is just terrible. Very long service, but very much, the portions are tiny. If you are used to Uzbek cuisine with large portions, then you are definitely not here - you will leave hungry. The kitchen is delicious, but not wow. Both waiters and managers are fussing, but the result of all these manipulations is zero. It seems that the organization of all processes in the restaurant as a whole is at a low level. If nothing changes in the near future, then this restaurant will be the place that you don't want to return to anymore, that you don't want to invite friends to, and that you don't want to recommend to anyone

But yesterday, after a break, we took a VIP booth for 15 people and it's clear that everything has subsided - both the quality of the dishes and the speed of service ... hot food can be brought at the end before leaving, I do not recommend taking fish. Salads, kebabs, everything is very tasty. But the waiter took the order and disappeared, the dishes were served by other waiters. An hour later, it turned out that the waiter had forgotten to order the mantas at all. I asked the hostess to invite the waiter, 10 minutes of complete disregard, until no one came up. The parking lot is very small, but the valet helps to park the car. The food is not exactly delicious, I would say nothing special for such an expensive restaurant. The kitchen is quite simple, absolutely nothing special. The service is very intrusive - we had a meeting with colleagues, so the waiter just got tired of constantly asking for something, trying to take away half-eaten dishes. The atmosphere is good. The waiters are not serious, they ordered a pistachio roll for dessert and waited for half an hour, later they asked where it was, and they heard that it was over.
Next, we asked the girl for the bill, then two more waiters, but no one came.
If we had left without paying, no one would have even noticed.

Today, my wife and I visited Lali's restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. We ordered a salad of crispy eggplant, fish soup, manta rays with lamb, chicken lula, meringue roll with pistachios and raspberries. The salad was divine: the eggplants were crispy on the outside and soft inside- perfect, delicious sauce, ear rich, rich and fragrant, manti: the dough is thin, and inside the juicy meat, the chicken cradle is delicious. The service was top notch. The waiters were very attentive and polite. The interior is made in the national style. Very cozy atmosphere. We will definitely return to this restaurant. This is a great place for a family dinner or a romantic date.

Novikov opened a teahouse in Tashkent. Funny. I would also take it upon myself to teach them how to cook pilaf. And you go) the interior is definitely a readable teahouse, but only some kind of light, pleasant. How dust was dusted off and wiped. There is a little bit of a bazaar inside, but not decorative, but lively and neat again. And by the way, it's delicious, and the pilaf is delicious) no worse than the TV tower. The only thing is, the service is slow, Uzbek dishes are unusual to wait so long (Achchik chuchuk and suzma salad were brought in the beginning and did not carry soup for a long time, if it were a Greek salad, I would understand but as it is ...), then the tea cooled twice while waiting for meat, also for a barbecue (6 pieces, 4 people) they gave well sooooooo there are few onions (I don't know what such a feed is for, it was very inconvenient to "save" onions). In total, it took two hours of lunch time for soup + barbecue.
