We went to Beijing for 5 days in May. The hotel was chosen by a travel agency.
It takes about 20 minutes on foot from the metro.
The hotel itself feels like it's new - everything is fresh and clean.
The room is huge, with a walk-in closet, large windows, and a huge bed. The bathroom is very large with a full bath and shower.
There is a swimming pool and a warm tub like a Jacuzzi. The sauna in the locker room was not working.
Food. I don't like Chinese food at all. In Hainan last year, even a European had nothing to choose for breakfast at a 5* hotel. There's a better breakfast here, you can see what they're trying to do for everyone. In the evening, you can visit the same breakfast restaurant for 150 yuan per person - buffet + beer. Delicious fresh salmon and tuna on an ice slide. Plus all kinds of kebabs. There is a lot of choice, but, again, for a European, it is too small.
When leaving the hotel, there are a lot of feeders on the right with the same mix, liquor stores, a minimarket and a fruit shop with delicious strawberries.
The funny thing is, you put your room card in the elevator and it goes to the floor. And robots that deliver a kind of water on the floors.
Nice old-fashioned hotel. There is a fountain in the lobby, and fish are swimming. Taking the elevator is only possible with an electronic card from the room, you can only go up to your floor. The rooms are clean, and towels are cleaned and changed every day. There is a bathrobe, slippers, disposable toothbrushes, a razor, a hairdryer and much more. Of course there is a safe, there are lights in the cupboards and under the bedside tables. Air conditioning is shared in all rooms. The restaurant has pure Chinese food, the variety is great. But the food is poorly heated, so it cools down quickly. But not critical. It is better to book rooms on the upper floors, where the view from the window is attractive.
The hotel is located in the heart of Beijing
There is a beautiful park nearby - there is a wonderful view from the window
There is also a good atmosphere inside
There are fish in the lobby
The room itself is large and comfortable
The beds in the room are top, so far probably the best in all my travels, the mattress is super: the right one - moderately hard, does not bend
There is a mini fridge, TV, air conditioning, etc.
In the shower there are hygiene kits - paste, brush, razor, all soap products, shampoos and conditioners and even a washcloth
Breakfasts - to choose from - there is Chinese food, which is much more familiar to us Europeans
