We had a rest from 12/20/2024 to 12/30/2024, the tour left 168k for two from Moscow time, bought 5 days before departure.
Positive:
-There are many different activities, there are padel and lawn tennis courts where you can play for free. Pre-registration on the beach at the towel stand.
If you play, I recommend taking your rackets and balls, because they are very shabby for rent.
-Large beautiful territory, lots of pools, access to the main Laguna Vista hotel across the street with a water park.
-There is always access to bottled water, everywhere: on the beach in refrigerators, in cafes and bars. No need to go out and buy.
-There is a surf station on the beach, it works one hour a day, from about 10:50 to 12:00, you can ride a board for free, standing in a 10-minute queue, be sure to try it.
-Gym, located in the main hotel in the Spa center on the second floor, free of charge, there is everything necessary for the base: bench presses and angle presses, lots of dumbbells, Scott bench, crossover and various fitness equipment. Cardio: treadmills and bicycles. There is (almost always) a local coach on site, you can ask for backup and ask about the technique.
-There is animation, unobtrusive, standard activities for charging, darts, bocce, volleyball, etc., we did not find out more details.
-Large well-maintained beach, lots of sun beds with numbering and hooks for things on the zones, convenient. There are always free places, the territory is large.
-Snack bar on the beach where you can have a full lunch and not return to the hotel for lunch: stations for pizza, waffles, ice cream, pancakes, rice, vegetables, zucchini, fruits, etc.
-A 7-minute walk from the hotel there is a Metro supermarket with fixed prices and a good selection. There are Italian cheeses Grana Padano and Biraghi. Periodically, sweet strawberries are imported. For those who do not like to go to the markets and bargain, I recommend it)
-There are McDonalds and KFC in the hotel building, outside, conveniently, we bought three big tasties before leaving so as not to starve on the plane)
-ATM on the territory of the hotel without commission, works with foreign cards without problems, issues EGP.
-There is a large TV with Premier League broadcasts in the room)
Cons:
-The main disadvantage is the lack of corals, swimming is not interesting at all. I had to go to the paid beaches of temple, sharks bay, el fanar. The price for a taxi is 220-270 EGP via the indrive app, do not overpay, set the price yourself.
-Loud air conditioner and refrigerator, it's better to sleep with earplugs.
- Planes often fly, but we were ready for this, the airport is nearby.
-There are mosquitoes in winter, but it's everywhere, I recommend taking the remedy with you, or buying it on the spot at Metro.

We were very satisfied, the quiet hotel is on the second line (on the first you can use all the pools and some restaurants), the beach is shared by two hotels. There was enough food (considering that we were with the child for 9 months and he was fed from the common table (boiled vegetables, stewed meat, soups). There was seafood once a week. The staff is very responsive, they will solve the problem very quickly in any situation. We checked into a room more than the tour provided.
The waiters are guys, the gold is straight...as soon as the speck fell, it was immediately removed. The hotel is clean.
The reception is also a special thank you!
Cleanliness and order. The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed.
The staff knows their job and copes with everything with dignity!

07.2024 the family went to Pickalbatros Palace Resort Sharm El Sheikh (Ex. Cyrene Grand) 5*
We were very satisfied - solid 5+
I liked the staff the most: everyone speaks Russian, very attentive, unobtrusive.
The whole area is clean and beautiful. The beach and the pool are clean and there are always sun beds.
The rooms are good beds, the air conditioning is always running quietly. 5 Russian channels.
Food: 5 restaurants with slightly varied meals, according to the record, I did not like the restaurant.
Bars: drinks, beer and wine are all good. Ice cream is served by the pool from 12 to 15.
Diving center: good guys, very attentive.
Entertainment: this is desirable to tighten up somehow... We had a family vacation, but it was a little boring for the young people ...
The general impression: WELL DONE! The service is on the level!

Let's start with the numbers. Upon check-in, we were offered an improved room (I don't know if it was improved in the end) for any amount that was more comfortable for us.
The room itself turned out to be wonderful, spacious, clean, with a good view
Cleaning was done every day.
There are 2 swimming pools on the territory, very calm, which can not but please
The FOOD is delicious, BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE CHOICE. on day 5, everything was already boring.
The beach is good, the sea is clean, but the depth is small. It's still good in the morning, knee-deep in the evening
It was possible to use the water park and some bars of the 5-star hotel

1. Attitude towards Russians: it seemed bad to me, the concept of the hotel is All Inclusive, which means drinks are unlimited, but when you ask for a second drink for your second tourist (guest) in one hand, they are indignant, behave negatively, cluck and spread their hands. Unacceptable.
2. Tips - first of all, they need to be earned with high service, this is a reward for services that have already been provided, for some reason the Egyptians do not understand this, and until you give it to your advantage, there will be no service for you.
In general, the hotel is not bad, I chose it by rating, but something needs to be done with the service, there is no such thing in Rixos, so 2 out of 5. Keep this in mind, provided that the prices with Rixos are about the same.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the rooms are new, very clean, and have everything you need. The territory is also clean and well maintained
You can use all the entertainment of the neighboring hotel (which is located on the first line, the same company), the territory is huge, the slides in the water park are all working, there is a children's and adult slides area. I also enjoyed riding an artificial wave and tennis
An interesting non-boring entertainment program, a lot of different activities for every taste during the day
The food is quite varied, for dinner there were shrimp, beef, and mutton. There is always something to eat, starting from 7:00 and until 05:00 in the morning
The sea is without a reef, but fish can still be rarely found (1-2 swims)
Check-out at 12:00, after the bracelet is not cut off, you can use everything before departure
All the staff is very friendly, they will always help and tell you

There are 2 advantages in general: everything is new and 16+.
The rest is debatable between 4 and 3. The food is very mediocre, there are almost no fruits, sliced oranges, red plums, dates, sometimes sliced bananas and whole apples)

Wine, beer, juices. Standard.
The main disadvantage is that you have to cross the road, then go through the entire vast territory of Picalbatros Vista 5 to reach the sea. And there's a minus again: on the beach, everyone is already together, both adults and children...the sea is knee-deep 150 meters from the shore, the pier is good, but two descents are always covered with kids. The water was up to my neck, I was 170 cm. The pier is long, they carry everything with them, but there are no conditions on the pier: 1 bedside table for things. And a chair with a "lifeguard". It is not convenient between the beach and the nearest bar like a football field. You are not behind the water and something from the edv. It turns out that sun beds with umbrellas are not in demand, they are always empty...no one risks leaving things there, because the pier is long. In general, it is not convenient.

I don't understand people's rave reviews. The hotel has a lot to grow.
👎Food
The food is not tasty, it resembles a school cafeteria. For breakfast, you can only eat omelets that are cooked in front of you, and a little more pancakes (pancake). Lunch, dinner - if you're lucky. In general, you won't starve to death, but you definitely won't ask for supplements. On the 3rd day of rest, we consistently skipped lunch or dinner and went to local restaurants to break the bad taste that the hotel offers. Sometimes they gave fish fillets, which were more or less edible, and shrimp, which felt like they had been lying around for a few days and only after that they began to cook. Alcohol sucks. Only beer can be drunk. Fruits, sweets - OK, but also not top, very, very average. Mangoes have never been by the way, although Egypt is famous for them.
I also didn't like that not all tables had appliances (or there were, but the staff took them away with the leftovers on the plate) and because of this I had to go to other tables to find myself a fork 😑
👌Service and staff
Upon arrival, they were given a room somewhere off the premises of the hotel itself by the road. Although we booked with a view of the pool. We complained at the reception and it was promptly changed for us.
By the way, if you are not going to dive into a tiny pool every day, then you may not really need such a room, because from 20:30 to 23:00 the disco turns on and music plays, which is clearly audible in the room.

🤷Entertainment
They should be followed to the nearby Laguna Vista hotel. There is a water park, cool pools, yoga, surf (which is not clear on what schedule it works), yoga in the sea and under palm trees, as well as tennis courts.
Turkish hammam costs 10k !!! (Found in the city for 2k). The gym is small, but everything you need seems to be there. The employee said that the appearance does not meet the requirements and you can only practice for 10 minutes, which is very strange.

The depth is small, it is quite boring to swim there, snorkeling is impossible. Rescuers are not allowed on the piers of neighboring hotels because of the bracelet
