Nice hotel with a picturesque view! Of the advantages: 1. There is a lot of choice for lunch and dinner (meat, fish, vegetables, a variety of olives, desserts, fruits) 2. Beautiful view, private beach. 3. Spacious rooms with a large bed. 4. Room cleaning every day, towels are changed every day. 5. Delicious cocktails, alcohol is not spared, there are many bars on site. 6. The rooms are clean, there are no bedbugs, as many write.
7. There are 5 swimming pools on the territory, 2 of them for children. Basically everyone hangs out by the pool, so the sea is always free. But there is also a place in the pools. There are plenty of sun beds.
8. The city is within walking distance, you can walk and go shopping (coton, polo assn., de facto)
Of the cons: 1. Breakfast is lame in terms of food, there is little choice for children. 2. Wi-Fi works only in the lobby and in some rooms, when there are a lot of people, it does not work.
3. There are a lot of algae on the sea, waves after lunch, they write that there are sea urchins.
4. 80% of the tourists are Turks, 20% are Russians, Poles, Germans, all the staff are not Russian-speaking, only Turkish and English. 5. There is no ice cream.
6. There are no balconies in the room, as well as shampoo and gel, only liquid soap. There is a refrigerator, but empty, and the only drinks in the room are water, which is replenished every day.
In principle, it is not a bad hotel, but with small children (1-2 g) it is better to find another one, since there is no animation for children, and they also have nowhere to run
We had a vacation with my wife in October 2024. Buses approach the hotel from the side of the hill so that all the beauty and grandeur of the main building, which opens from the sea, is not immediately noticeable. I'll start with the moments that leave mixed impressions:
- the staff at the reception and throughout the hotel is not Russian-speaking, from the word at all. (or it's more convenient for them, but that's another story..)
- the staff is not interested in helping to resolve any issues.
- the hotel has lost its original gloss, slight fatigue is present.
And now about the pleasant:
- the location of the hotel is the embodiment of an ingenious and ambitious idea. Surrounded by rocks in the bay, it stands like a fortress. And in whatever location of the hotel you would not be everywhere, the grandeur of the mountains and the sea breeze open to the eye, the bay in which there is no one else except the vacationers of the hotel.
- the food is at the level that can be assessed as decent. Bottled alcohol, draft beer.
- Kusadasi can be reached by dolmusha in 7 minutes; or walk, the road takes about 25 minutes. There are many souvenir shops in the city, stalls littered with "ala brand" things and accessories. I recommend walking along the embankment, looking at pigeon island and taking a boat trip by sea for only three euros. It is definitely worth taking the time to visit the ancient city of Ephesus, which is 30 minutes from the hotel.
In general, we remember this holiday only from the best side, and we were very satisfied.
I really liked the hotel. Beautiful and picturesque places. There is a disadvantage - the staff is not Russian-speaking, more Turkish and English. The hotel is located 20-25 minutes (on foot) from the city center, 5-7 minutes by public transport, you can walk around the center and along the shopping malls. The food is varied. Great animators. Batu is really handsome. We plan to get in again
