We rested at the La Terrace Hotel in June 2024. I liked the hotel, cleaning every day, linen change every other day, varied meals. Its own beach , free sun loungers for hotel guests . Friendly and helpful staff. Of the disadvantages, there is no sound insulation.

This is not a hotel, but a guest house, therefore all categories used to assess the quality of hotels are inappropriate here. Good hotels have appeared in Abkhazia, but this is not the case.
Pros: good location: near the market, shopping infrastructure and the center of the village. A nice and sparsely populated beach, which is kept in order. The rooms are quite spacious with high ceilings, equipped with everything you need (refrigerator, air conditioning, shower). The rooms are cleaned regularly.
Cons: terrible sound insulation, as the house is built of wood. Everything that happens around you will be heard in your room. The food is very poor, according to the "eat what you gave" system, the quality of the products leaves much to be desired. There is no service as such.
Summary: economy class guest house for short-term stay.

We had a rest in Gadout, La Terrace Hotel from August 1 to August 10, 2023. We were very satisfied. The staff is friendly, friendly, the food is very tasty (homemade), the food is varied, the rooms are fully cleaned and linen is changed every three days (garbage is taken out of the room daily), the sea is nearby, there are umbrellas and sun beds on the beach (for vacationers of the La Terrace hotel - free of charge), the wounds and the store are also located the hotel is within walking distance. Just everything you need for a family vacation. Thank you very much to the hotel staff for the warm welcome and kindness.

I rested on the Terrace in September 2023. I was greeted very kindly at the reception. It was still morning, but they checked into the room and fed. Juliet - the administrator knows her job, responds to every request. What needs to be fixed, everything will be done quickly within your power. The staff is very friendly, the chefs cook in a variety of ways. You won't stay hungry. But, not a buffet. This should be taken into account. The maid girls are trying. Garbage is cleaned every day, linen is changed every 5 days. Astanda brought us delicious jam with her. We eat with tea and remember with kindness! The guards are wonderful, help to bring it away, sociable. They are interested in how we rest. It's like being at home here! The hotel itself is very cozy, everything is made of wood, even there is a wooden desk, paintings on the walls. The color is interesting, it's the best thing to relax from plastic! Audibility only!!!! My neighbors were friendly, everyone went to meet me, and made the TV sound quieter. But, everyone can hear the conversations))... it's not far from the sea. You can walk and take a walk. Clean, if we don't mess up ourselves. The beach is at guests' disposal, free umbrellas and sun beds. To Vitalik - respect!! Well done! He wears it himself, helps in everything. Near the cafe there is A Veranda, A Balcony. The market is also nearby, the church. Cakes are being prepared at the market. Melt in your mouth))..Yes, a separate topic is animals. Dogs and cats are not to blame that there are soulless people, everyone just wants to live. They are very affectionate and loyal. Escorted to the beach and met. A young cat lives near the stadium. Also meets..they smile and cry. It's sad to part with them..and with Abkhazia. Gagry, Gudauta, Athos..everywhere is good in its own way. But, if you want to relax quietly without fuss, then only here without hesitation. Thanks to everyone who lives and works here. This is not the first time in Gudauta. I noticed this hotel on my last trip. I liked that it was wooden, balconies, rooms, decoration. It's very nice that it's not plastic. The tours were only with three meals a day. They didn't regret it. Salads, cutlets, fish, delicious porridge for breakfast. The cook is a good girl. The staff is very polite. The cleaning is excellent. BUT VERY good audibility, get ready, and the hotel is good. I am on the positive side of my vacation and my son likes it.

An old mini-hotel in Gudauta. The sea is 400 meters away. It was built a long time ago. It requires repair. There is practically no surrounding area. The food leaves much to be desired. There is no sound insulation in the rooms, the audibility is 100%. If you sneeze or suddenly yawn loudly, everyone will hear it. Not matching price + quality.

The other day we had a rest at the LA Terrasa hotel. The rest turned out to be unsuccessful. We read the reviews and we chose this hotel, as the rating is high and so many good things have been written about the hotel. But on the spot we found ourselves in a completely different world... Upon arrival by taxi, there was a terrible smell of sewage in front of the hotel, it also spread in the dining room. The receptionist was also not friendly to our arrival, as her name was announced to us-Julia. The dinner was disgusting - boiled sticky cones, absolutely not salty, poured with some kind of sauce. After going to the room on the top floor / my child and I are 4 years old/ . We ended up in a small room with one double bed. I asked the receptionist- we are 2 different families, how are we going to sleep three of us on a 1.60 bed??? To which she said that you bought it, then you will receive it... I asked her to find some accommodation options, to which she replied - to pay extra...at first, its price was 2500, then 1900, and then I'm going to meet you halfway and for 1450... We thought, if you pay extra, it would be better to rent a room in the house opposite for 300-400 rubles. and I will spend the night there, leave my mother and child here....We had a rest from July 21 to July 1 and she announced to us that there are available rooms, even the next room, but buy it...In general, we could not come to an agreement with her and for 3 days we searched for a way out of the situation. She allowed me to spend the night in the next room while we resolve the issue with our travel agency....When the travel agency, after talking with her, offered us to move to another hotel, the receptionist replied - no one is keeping you here!She also communicated rudely with the agency. One day we went for a walk to Pitsunda and upon arrival we found that we had been given a cot...but the agency has already offered us another hotel and we just didn't want to stay here.The food these days was also ugly. For dinner, they once gave a little stewed cabbage and 3 pieces of chicken with a fingernail...that's all. Children don't eat cabbage like that, but I sympathized with the men. There were dumplings for breakfast, it's just one dough. I wanted to pick the cottage cheese out of them for the child, so it turned out to be 5 pcs. a teaspoon of cottage cheese.Everyone who was resting at that time was outraged. Our neighbors went on an excursion, and the other half of them stayed, so they were not given portions of food that belonged to their relatives who did not go on an excursion....They were indignant for a long time, they asked, but they never got it. It turned out that on the day of our arrival, the cook who owns the good reviews did not come to work...No one saw her anymore.We decided that the reason was also the administrator. Many reviews say the distance from the beach is 50 m. In fact, it's all 400-500. We didn't count on it, but it's tolerable. The beach itself is good, sun beds, umbrellas, everything is fine. As a result, we left this hotel after staying there for 4 nights, the intourist operator offered us another hotel and we are just happy that we left there. The rest of the hotel staff all became friends with us- wonderful people and regretted that we were leaving them. The neighbors also regretted our departure, but understood our situation.That was such an unfortunate introduction to the La Terassa hotel. If the situation does not change there, we do not recommend the hotel. I think that our neighbors who were there at that time will write reviews and confirm my words. I've been on vacation a lot and I always write reviews - this is the first time that I had to write a negative review. I am very sorry that everything happened like this. It was in September 2019. Not bad. The decoration in the rooms is wooden clapboard, the audibility is very strong, as if there are no partitions at all. The staff is very friendly, the food was delicious, homemade, the sea is nearby, there is a great cafe on the beach.

We visited this hotel in August 2022 and were very pleased, and decided to come again this year...and they wished from the first day.
This 3 meals a day was disgusting, to put it mildly, the portions are very small, porridge on water, so maybe a little milk is added, for color, everything is fresh, absolutely no taste (and we compared it at least with the previous year), there was delicious homemade food, no one was waiting for lobsters and langoustines, but you can use it It's delicious to cook...chefs apparently do not respect themselves so much in the first place that they feed their guests with this💩(there is no other way to say it)
And when they told Juliet that, she made it clear that she didn't give a damn about us..at the same time, prices were raised almost 2 times!!! It is quite normal for them to give lunch from the leftovers of dinner the day before!
Almost every day the lights were turned off, and it took up to 3-4 hours without light, and this is without air conditioning, without water, Internet ...
Although the Internet almost didn't work, anywhere ...
In general, this year it's a complete disappointment, just fuuu..
How could you spoil everything to such an extent in just 1 year, it's amazing ..
Not a foot in this hotel anymore, and I will never advise...no respect for yourself, and even more so for us👎👎👎👎
Gudauta itself is beautiful, like the whole of Abkhazia, the sea, the beach is super!

It was the middle of June 2023. The hotel was chosen by a friend with whom we went. The sea and the sun are great. But when water pours on your head in the morning, it's not pleasant at all. And at the same time, the owner knows about it, this has happened more than once. But the owner doesn't care. Audibility, as if everyone lives in one big room. Last year, a woman fell down the stairs. There are no Velcro or elastic bands on the steps. It's the same story this year, falling down the stairs. The girl with the ambulance said we can be on duty here, but there are constant calls to this hotel. But these are only the problems of the fallen. The owner doesn't care either. The hotel is terrible! I do not recommend it!

We rested with our family for 12 days in October, rented 3 rooms. Everyone liked everything. The rooms are neat, clean and cozy. Garbage is collected every day, linen is changed every 3 days. There are comfortable terraces for relaxing. The food is very tasty, I was especially surprised that they were fed even on the day of arrival, although dinner ended 2 hours ago. We were served for breakfast: porridge and rolls or pancakes or eggs or pancakes (different every day), bread, butter, tea, coffee, milk. For dinner, soup, salad and the second course were also changed every day. They have their own kitchen, they cook delicious.
Special thanks to the hotel manager - Raisa! He is a very sincere person, he will always help. And her homemade wine is excellent)))
The sea is 5 minutes away at a leisurely pace. The market is 3 minutes away.
I definitely recommend this accommodation option in Abkhazia.

We had a vacation in January, just for Christmas. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly, especially the local dogs are friendly))They will take you to the sea and back. The sea is close. We were fed good healthy food, porridge in the morning, lunch and dinner -1,2,3 and compote!!I would like to say a few words about the rooms. Sound insulation is 0, you can hear the neighbors talking, going to the toilet, or someone coming down the stairs. Our room was 105, a good one.And friends have 110, so when they opened the door, it rested directly on the bed.WiFi was caught badly in the room, there is no hair dryer, shampoo and gel should also be taken with you, this is not provided. But all these little things are covered by the cordiality of people, chacha and good company. We had a great rest!!

The rooms are clean. The food is ordinary. The territory is scanty. You can sit on the terrace next to your room door. The sea is 5 minutes away. To the store too. Gudauta is a city of contrasts: ruin and decent houses. There are a lot of stray animals.
The place is not positive.
The pebble beach is large, there are few people.
If it rains in the mountains, the water is dirty. But there are wonderful days.
We traveled all over Abkhazia. They ticked it, but I don't want to do it a second time.
Apsny is a country of the soul. Perhaps, if it hadn't been for the collapse of the Soviet Union and the war with Georgia.
And the air is really gorgeous.

+ The staff is wonderful. The food is simple but delicious. There is a refrigerator in the room, all the goodies are gladly placed there and waiting for departure home)) Everything is clean and cozy. Nearby there are shops, a bakery. The sea is very close. It feels like Grandma's in the country in the summer. You can play football nearby. There is Wi-Fi in the hotel and in the cafe by the sea. The sea is good, only the pebbles are large.
- But it's noisy (It's a disaster for me. Poor sound insulation between the rooms. The floors are wooden, you can hear every step behind any wall. Cars are constantly driving at night.
