I accidentally found a place through Yandex. A modern institution. Pleasant European interior. The price tag is moderate by the standards of Moscow and St. Petersburg. It's delicious - I appreciated it as a cook lover. It's hot with a focus on meat and poultry with local sauces, but I've also seen vegan salads and dishes on the menu. The portions are large (gigantic), so most likely you will take something in a container to your room. With a decent landing, the dishes are served quickly. There is a bar counter. The bartender is not averse to making a mix according to your desire, at least Americano with tonic was not on the menu, but they did it for me. There are conduits in the hall, giant fans. Moreover, the walls with slide windows to the floor and this room are a hybrid, where you can completely close the slides, curtain and turn on the air conditioner in the heat and vice versa fully open the hall in the evening. There is a terrace too, also with fans. There are about a hundred seats to be thrown up. The toilet is clean, quite clean. There is a corner for musicians with a well-tuned soft sound. When we were very young, a girl sang beautifully on acoustics to playback, her own, local songs and covers of Western hits in indie vibe, buzz! The first time we were in the evening and then returned in the afternoon to have a snack and take photos and a review to file
Atmosphere: it felt like we were at someone else's party. They asked me to sit at a table with a sofa. They said it was only for four people. And they sat me down at an ordinary table for two people. At the same time, somehow a little apart from everyone.
OK, the rules are the rules. But if they are the same for everyone. Half an hour later, a stylish grandfather and a friend came and the two of them successfully sat down at the very table with the sofa.
Ok. We are tolerant. We ate the main dishes. We decided to take some snacks. Couldn't get through to the waiter to bring the menu
OK. I can go myself. He took the menu himself. We choose some cheese sticks. Finally, the waiter comes over and we place an order.
The waiter leaves for 10 minutes and returns with the sad news that they can't cook the cheese sticks. He offers another snack. Some kind of Chinese cheese rolls.
OK. We agree. Despite the fact that the Chinese do not eat cheese made from cow's milk. They don't have such a product. Okay. We are waiting for the order.
They bring some pita bread rolls with a complete lack of cheese. The finish line.
OK. The mood is ruined. We are ordering an invoice. I give you the money, but they don't give me the change back. It's not much at all, about 150 lire, but it's my right and desire to leave something for a tip or not.
In general, the institution is overrated, to put it mildly. I do not recommend going there. It is not clear what the staff is guided by.
I definitely visit La Spezia once a year. Pleasant service, delicious and great dishes. The prices are not exactly budget, but they are quite acceptable, especially in comparison. Atmospheric music. Definitely five points.
