The Kyndyg hot thermal springs in Abkhazia are a real treasure hidden among the picturesque nature. This place impresses with its unusual atmosphere and healing properties. There are several pools with different water temperatures, which allows you to choose the best option, and mud baths, which are considered especially useful for the skin and joints. The springs themselves are well equipped: comfortable recreation areas, changing rooms, small cafes – everything for a comfortable stay. In addition, there is enough space for everyone, and even in high season you can find your own cozy corner.

The most popular sources of Abkhazia. Overall, it's nice here. There are three levels of pools -super hot, medium temperature and human body temperature. There is a pit with therapeutic mud on the territory, and pipes are located around the perimeter, from where jets of thermal water flow. You can stand / lie down/ sit under these jets, a la massage, but it's difficult to get in, because it's always busy. :D Why do I give 4 stars? Very doubtful about the cleanliness. Although the guide told me that the pools are drained and cleaned, it's hard to believe. The algae layers speak for themselves. Entrance to the territory is paid (well, that's understandable), there are snack bars and souvenir shops on the territory (everything is OK here too) and there is a toilet, which is also paid (although in Abkhazia all toilets are paid, even though the price is only 30 rubles, but what is there to pay for?I'm sorry, for the holes in the floor?).
If you are going to the springs with an excursion, then they give you an hour or an hour and a half for all your business. The springs can be reached by public transport. The advantage of going with an excursion is that you will be guided without waiting in line.

I have been going to the source since 2012, the organizers are certainly doing well for recreation and treatment. Every year they continue to improve and decorate this place. This year, the sunbeds were changed under the jets of the hydro massage (but the boards on the sunbeds were not processed, they were simply sawn and screwed, the edges were not rounded, the chamfers were removed at least with a plane. It is not pleasant to crash into the body) The time of stay is recommended less and less. They reduce it every year. From half an hour to 5 minutes. And this is all to spend more excursions. The owners became very greedy. On the contrary, the price rises and rises every year. It's like they're heating it up themselves. I understand when I came with an excursion, you can pay 300 rubles once, but if it takes 7-10 days, it's already expensive. Come up with some kind of visiting subscriptions. Once 500 rubles, three times 300, five visits 250, 10 - 200 rubles each.
