There is always a queue, But the service is very fast. They understand Russian. There is not only coffee, But also cocoa. Coffee is sold ground in paper bags. The price can be found a little better if you take it from a chain store, But it is unlikely to be so fresh there.
About coffee:
here you need to understand that this place sells coffee, which is loved in Turkey and which is fried and finely ground enough to brew in cezve (Turk). In comparison with the CIS and southern Europe, a darker roasting is adopted here, which gives the coffee more bitterness and reduces the other flavor palette.
I always buy Memet Efendi coffee here when I visit Istanbul. The aroma of coffee can be felt from a block away, so you can unmistakably find a place where you can buy it. There is always a queue that moves fast enough.
It's an atmospheric place, but the coffee sucks.
I also fell for the atmosphere and got in line and collected 4 packages of 250 grams each.. Well, to give it to everyone. For gifts.
At the airport, everyone probably sniffed, the smell was simply amazing, there was a clear aroma throughout the hall, well, I think the gifts were a success. But no, the Turks did a trick here too.
The coffee is empty and weak. You can cook in a turk or in a horn coffee maker. Very mild taste.
250 grams cost 165 lire, 05.01.2025.
The gifts failed (after all, they gave one package and immediately removed the sample), they did not give it further, so as not to tell tales about the "specials. Istanbul grinding and roasting")))
I don't recommend it to anyone. Pass by. There is no good and delicious coffee there. And don't read fairy tales written to reassure you that this is good coffee. It's a fast-paced coffee.
We visited in January 2025. The guys are working fast. They don't speak Russian, but they understand how much coffee you need. They asked for an extra branded package, and they gave it to me from the bottom of their hearts. The price is cheaper than in our store. You can find it by the smell, the aroma of coffee is far away. My son was in Istanbul earlier, he brought it. I really liked it. The taste was different from what I ordered on the marketplace. Therefore, it became possible to visit the Egyptian bazaar on purpose.
Coffee😍... You need to take more, very tasty, fragrant.
The guys work so well, everything is fine-tuned to the smallest detail.
I will definitely come to you for coffee ☕😁
😁😁😁👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕
We go and buy it on the spot because it would be appropriate, but where are the prices much more affordable on other shopping sites, the same product is sold at a much higher price in the center it produces on its own site, I wouldn't recommend it at all, frankly, it's a waste of time
Freshly ground coffee is on sale every morning. They are immediately packed in different volumes. All the locals buy here in the morning to brew fresh coffee
So many people can't be wrong, but where does the queue go?... unfortunately, the coffee is terrible. I can really say it's the worst Turkish Coffee I've ever had, it's a pity..
You will not be able to pass by! I'm making grenades. The smell of coffee can be heard all over the Egyptian bazaar. How do I find out the location? There's always a queue)))
