This is a landmark place for Helsinki, a must-visit. If you are lucky with windless weather, you can spend the whole day with interest. Climb the ramparts with cannons of the Perm factory, visit a submarine, museums and just enjoy the silence and fresh sea air. All necessary infrastructure is available.

It is good for walking in any weather. Quietly calmly. There are interesting museums and architectural monuments.
It is easy to get there by a regular ferry, which is a type of urban transport. There is a cafe, a regular shop and a souvenir shop.
Beautiful views of the archipelago and the sea, it is very interesting to watch how a sea ferry squeezes through the straits.

Fortress, guns, museums.
It's a pity we didn't get to the museum on a submarine, but we visited the toy museum of a friendly Finnish woman who has toys from the USSR in her collection!
It is easy and convenient to get there. Walking around the islands is a pleasure, smooth clean roads and paths.
There are people living on the island. This is a district of Helsinki and you can often find signs saying "respect our right to privacy."
But there are no fences and fences! Only modest, low-key requests not to invade personal space...

In good weather, one of the best places for a tourist who has already walked around the city center. Pay only for the ferry (for the price of a regular trip by public transport - look for just such a ferry, there are also walking "bombs"), 15 minutes of a boat trip - and you are on islands with Russian history, beautiful views and just good nature. And all this is right from the Market Square, and the departure is frequent: you don't have to worry that you'll be late back.
