It's beautiful from below, not so much from above. Although the view on the Silifka is excellent. There's a nice restaurant upstairs. And yes, the fortress itself is closed indefinitely

It looks very majestic from afar. I wanted to see it up close. And so in early August 2023 we decided to go there, fortunately we came to Silifke on business. It was hot, but the climb did not take much time - 20-30 minutes from the suspension bridge. The views from the foot of the fortress are stunning in all directions, and the fortress itself is closed for reconstruction and no one knows when it will be opened.

Interesting places in Selifka are within walking distance. It was interesting to climb the mountain, explore the city from a hill - a stunning view, it's a pity that the fortress is closed.
