The landscapes are truly beautiful, reminiscent of Mars in Altai - wonderful red and brown shades are created by deposits of manganese and iron in these mountains. The road is excellent, no extreme, very accessible location near Baku

We drove on our own, in a rented car. I was worried that we would arrive somewhere I don't understand, where there would be nowhere to stand, but no, there is a parking spot at this point. I am very glad that we went, effectively!
