Shakhrisabz is a good city, comfortable for one-day walks.
There are hotels and hostels and many cafes, the city has been rebuilt for tourists and something may not like it, people are loud especially in cars.Be prepared for the fact that traffic regulations are not observed here and they are pressed too close.
