Samsun is a large modern city, not much different from the flavor of Istanbul. The embankment is large and well-groomed, but when visiting January 2025, it was not crowded, as if life freezes in winter, unlike Istanbul, there is a large flea market nearby where life can buy and you can buy anything your heart desires. At the end of the embankment, which lasts about 3 km, there is a water park and a ship museum. There are many different monuments and statues along the boardwalk, bridges, dams with swans, benches, gazebos. There are cafes, but they were almost all closed, you can ride a horse in a carriage, the locals breed to buy flowers that are not the first freshness. Beautiful pedestrian bridge, lots of greenery, parks.
