Kolsai lakes!
Very beautiful. That year, wooden steps were made for tourists, it helps to comfortably descend to the lakes.
There is a cafe.
You can ride horses, boats and catamarans. It was at the end of September. The weather in the mountains is changing, it's better to have something to throw on.
It takes 3.5 hours from Almaty.

We did not encounter any bad work by the hotel staff. Yes, I won't dissemble, but the rooms are already in need of cosmetic repairs, but in general it is very acceptable, given the difficult transport accessibility. Breakfast, in our opinion, was all meager, but again they justified the difficult delivery of groceries and the opportunity to have breakfast in Tara's restaurant. I would like to add that, in general, the hotel can be reached on foot by stairs , for us it seemed more convenient than off-road . But if you have a lot of things and children , then probably the transfer option is still more affordable.

Excellent infrastructure and the lake is amazing! A walk around the lake is not the most picturesque, but standing in the parking lot or observation deck and contemplating is fine

It's beautiful, but:
The worst coffee I've ever had.
If you pay attention to the water, passing along the wooden deck above the lake, the bottom is strewn with cans and bags and other similar debris. As well as all the sights of Kazakhstan.
There are also cigarette butts everywhere.
There was a lure with the horses that we would see a waterfall and a cave. So a waterfall is a pipe from which water flows, a cave, but without light. Just a hole.
Horses are top, but they can't run, they just walk.

My expert opinion is that this is just a great place, you definitely need to go! Nature is just a sight, my inner Stanislavsky believed it :) Be sure to bring warm clothes with you.

Excellent restaurant, excellent service, affordable prices, delicious food. The only drawback is a non-working toilet, but the sinks work and that's good. The chicken fricassee was delicious, and so were the mantas, but they were a little over-salted.

Incredible views that are impossible to believe in the first time - nature is so beautiful.
Among the disadvantages, cellular communication is poorly caught, which is why it is advisable to stock up on cash to pay for local services.
There would be more and cleaner toilets, there are huge crowds of tourists on weekends, so it's better to come on weekdays or stay there for a few days

Come to Kolsai, breathe , see nature, relax your brain Zorger, if you come from Almaty, if you come out of the afternoon Air 4 hours drive, in the evening before reaching Kolsai, there are many hotels in the village, where you can spend the night and go to Azan in the morning, you will be far from breathing.

The place is very beautiful, there is a taxi, but the taxi drivers wanted to deceive me, they took 200 tenge for the descent and asked for 2500 tenge for the ascent, although it was only 500 meters to go. I didn't pay and the taxi driver felt ashamed.
There is fast food and a lot of it, a restaurant, gazebos, toilets.
