"Sound" in Baranovichi: where the interior hits high notes and the kitchen is out of tune
This cafe is like an album by your favorite band: the cover is gorgeous, but the tracks inside... well, it happens. "Sound" lures with a stylish interior, where every corner is a photo for social networks. But when it comes to food, the playlist freezes slightly.
Why take a look?
- The atmosphere is a hit: Here you can feel like the hero of the video — cozy sofas, muted music, and bartenders who move to the rhythm of latte art. Ideal for working on a laptop or talking about "nothing."
- Serving is like a performance: Coffee is served in mugs that you want to take home "as a souvenir", and desserts on plates look like museum exhibits.
Nuances:
- Seasonal coffees are a battle of ambition and reality: prices seem to be taken from the menus of the capital's coffee shops, but the taste is a typical "standard". I expected an explosion of taste, but I got a slight whisper.
- Cheesecake is like a cover of a hit: Familiar, predictable, but without the soul of the original.
- Waffles have a sad ending: They're a little dry, as if they were baked to the sound of the blues. Jam doesn't save you — it's like a guitar without strings.

What impresses this coffee shop is its stability. I visited here for the first time a few years ago, when the visitors were greeted by a cat. The staff is polite and friendly. The atmosphere of the institution is unchanged, which is conducive to communication in the company and conducive to visiting in the future. There is an unspoken rule in the world of gastronomy: regardless of the level of cuisine, the service must remain at its best. Unfortunately, the Sound institution violates this fundamental principle on such a large scale that it makes us think about the professionalism of the entire team.
Let's start with the main thing — the atmosphere. The interior is decorated well, but the coldness and lack of sincerity are immediately noticeable. But if only it were just that! Perhaps the most serious blow to the reputation of the institution is the staff. The waiters behave as if the customers are a nuisance to them, rather than the main reason for the restaurant's existence. Rude communication, complete indifference to the wishes of the guests and a clear lack of basic courtesy make staying in the "Sound" unbearable.
At one point, I happened to witness outright rudeness on the part of an employee who allowed himself to speak out in a completely inappropriate manner. This approach is unacceptable in any reputable public catering place. This incident became the final point of my visit and forever fixed the opinion of the institution as a space where only the client's money is valued, forgetting about the basic norms of hospitality.
The quality of food and drinks also leaves much to be desired. However, given the level of service, these disadvantages seem secondary. When you feel like an unwanted guest, it is difficult to assess the taste of food, because the atmosphere absorbs any positive moments.
To summarize, I would like to express the hope that the management of Sound will reconsider the policy of hiring and educating its staff. In the meantime, this place remains a place that is better avoided, especially if you value not only food, but also respect for yourself as a customer.

I'll tell you the story first. In another coffee shop, I bought an expresso tonic and they added water with lemon instead of schweppes and just put a closed bottle of schweppes next to it. The same situation occurred in this coffee shop. The conclusion is either that there are not conscientious bikers who save on drinks, or we are unlucky again. I do not recommend this coffee shop, or stand next to it and check on the spot how and what they cook in your presence and try it right away. It was unpleasant, to be honest. It seems to be such a cool coffee shop as everyone says, but now there are nuances. My latte tasted like a paper cup. The prices are too high, and the products are questionable!!!

I was in this cafe on a weekday, boarding 3-5 people in the cafe. Very often people come in just to buy coffee, which in this cafe is not bad, as well as pistachio cheesecake and berry tea. However. A piece of carrot cake has been dried, which does not necessarily indicate its freshness, two drinks and two cakes are served on an unintended wooden tray (a tray for 1 person). In general, the cafe Sound is atmospheric, modern, but the disadvantages do not give a 5-star feeling.

Delicious coffee, awesome staff, the resident of cafe cote is very nice, but I put a 4 because croissants are only in the morning....to be more precise, sometimes at 11-12 in the morning there are no fresh croissants, it is incredibly upsetting!!!!!! We go special for croissants, if there are none, then turn around to another cafe. But if there is!!! These are the best croissants in Baranovichi! And the fillings are on fire! I love this place!
