Located in the old district, away from the roads, nice and quiet, scenic view. Quite tasty - the best Adjarian khachapuri we’ve ever tasted! But beware the cats, half of the khachapuri was stolen. If you try to shoo them away, they might fight back. Just accept your fate, and share the meal with them:)

From the very first minutes, you can feel that you have come to visit a friendly Georgian family. The hostess of the restaurant conducted a short tour of the house, which has preserved the atmosphere of the past centuries: high ceilings, vintage furniture, vintage photographs. This house seems to tell stories about the life of several generations, creating a unique comfort.
The food here is very tasty! All dishes are prepared with love, according to family recipes.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is incredibly friendly. The hostess and the staff are carefully and sincerely interested in whether you are satisfied, recommend dishes and share stories about the culinary traditions of Georgia. All this makes you feel not like a client, but an honored guest in this amazing place.

The trip to Tbilisi left a mixed impression, only when you get to the hospitable Nana, the hostess of the Kneina family restaurant, you can feel the comfort and warmth of this amazingly beautiful region!!! Home cooking : dolma, khinkali, eggplant rolls, sauces, and what a barbecue, it just melts in your mouth!!! Of course, Georgian wine to choose from! Here at the foot of the mountain, in the old part of the city, you feel at home, and no matter what nationality you are, everyone is united here. Nana will pay attention to every guest. It's not just a restaurant, it's a house with its own family history and interior, an amazing collection of paintings, and a relaxing atmosphere inspired by soft melodies. Time flies by unnoticed! They randomly chose an institution to sit on my birthday. And how lucky we are. In addition to the cozy atmosphere, we have already been welcomed so cordially, so warmly. The food is amazing, it feels like they are doing it with all their heart.
It's very cool that the hostess takes orders herself sometimes. Patiently explained to my friend about each main course to help her choose. Just wow
Then we had a little tour of the house, which is also amazing.

Funny feelings, very atmospheric place, the hostess, a pleasant woman, welcomes you, took a tour of the restaurant, told you everything, the story of the house, the family, how the restaurant was made, everything is decorated authentically, wow! but still, the main thing in the restaurant is the kitchen, and here the fiasco is very real, the khinkali dough is thick and raw, there is little filling, no broth, the pork and vegetables are dry, and other dishes at the same level, I really didn't want to offend the hostess, but something needs to be done with the kitchen! We came to this place by chance and were very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is wonderful, and I was very impressed by the history of the family home, which they decided to convert into a restaurant. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant owner did a great job! You can see that everything is done with soul and love, as soon as you enter the restaurant, you immediately feel it. I really liked the way the owner talks about his business with love and warmth, it's very cool! The food, wine and chacha are simply divine! We definitely recommend this place!

We were at a restaurant with my husband . We came here by chance and didn't regret it. From the hostess to the food, we liked everything. The restaurant itself and the house have a long history, which is very interesting. We ate everything we ordered with pleasure! Very tasty homemade lemonade. The hostess is very friendly, shared the story of the restaurant's creation. Yes, they don't have a Russian menu, but this does not affect the attitude towards Russian-speaking people in any way. And while we were sitting, I didn't hear any other speech)) therefore, I think it would be practical to have all the menus in Russian!)

We came here on recommendation and did not regret it..We, like the other guests, were greeted by the hostess herself. The most atmospheric place. Very cozy, delicious. An unusual home menu. The brutes have excellent knowledge of languages. We will definitely recommend the restaurant to our friends.

The wonderful hostess conducted a tour of the old house where the restaurant is located. She told me a lot of interesting things about the historical finds made in this house (an ancient bakery and many artifacts were found).
The cuisine is homemade, very tasty chicken dishes, great pumpkin soup!

This is the best place where we had lunch. The hostess is a wonderful woman. She is very friendly and respectful. And the kitchen is just amazing. Everything is like at home, as if cooked for yourself. Lobio was already boiling in a clay pot. I have not eaten such a Lobio in any restaurant, the kharcho soup simply amazed me with its taste. Fresh dishes, all cooked at once. I was especially struck by the interior, it's like in a time machine you come back for 30-40 years at least. I am glad that the family honors the traditions of its kind, its ancestors. By visiting this restaurant, you will not only have a delicious and very satisfying meal, but also get only positive energy while being there, in this cozy place. The hostess would like to wish health, good luck and all the best to her and her sons, who know the historical value of their wonderful restaurant, the pride of their grandmother. Peace, warmth and comfort to this family. I recommend visiting this amazing place!!!!!!!!! My son and I were completely delighted, coming to Tbilisi now we will only have lunch and dinner there!

A pleasant, cozy, atmospheric place. A very hospitable hostess who told the story of her house. The beauty of this restaurant consists of little things that are selected with taste. Some plates are worth a lot! The food is average, I did not like the lula, they are very dry. Delicious soups (kharcho and beans). Not a bad chicken in cream sauce (chkmeruli). In general, if I find myself in Tbilisi again, I will most likely come in.

A wonderful place with authentic Georgian cuisine and an authentic atmosphere. The portions are generous, the prices are low, the hostess is very friendly and speaks Russian. We were lucky to get the last available table without reservation, but the restaurant is very popular and it is better to plan a visit in advance.

- a cozy alley, we were sitting at a table outside in the evening, it was very beautiful
- the dishes and decoration are tasteful
- It was delicious! Khinkali is served on a pillow of sauce, this has never been seen before. Minced meat is perfect for its sharpness and spice. Chekmeruli is also good (for me, the sauce is salty, but it is cooked everywhere in Georgia).

We did not lower the overall rating, we described everything below.
Green salad and eggplant rolls went into the heart.
But the khinkali, for which we came to this restaurant, was very disappointing. There were streaks in the meat and a lot of fat (I specially photographed the amount of 1 khinkali), we ordered 2 servings- 6 pieces each (again, we took the reviews!!) and I actually ate 1 piece and my husband finished the rest and did not finish it(. He didn't like the sauce either, it's better to add a little more broth to the khinkali and it will taste better, and serve the sauce next to it.
I liked the white wine "Mtsvane-rtvelisi" 1 glass - 10 lari.
The restaurant itself is made with love, a lot of details, a beautiful place! The hostess conducts an excursion, it is doubly wonderful.
The total receipt for the dishes is above average, but they left without pleasure((

Passing by, I noticed that there are many times more visitors here than in other restaurants. And I did not lose by choosing this place for lunch. An excellent Georgian home-cooked restaurant with a unique, I would even say sincere attitude of the hostess. The hostess herself met us and showed us an old bread oven, told us the whole history of the restaurant. A very tasty salad with breast and pumpkin, homemade khinkali in sauce is insanely delicious. We were there for three days and all three days we only went here for lunch. Excellent homemade white wine! I recommend you to visit 👍🏻

It's very tasty here! This is the best place in Tbilisi, incredible dishes of national cuisine are made according to the highest standard. I recommend chkmeruli, I took it from many places, here are the best, as well as mushroom soup is the BEST in my life. And the hostess of this wonderful institution gave us a tour and told us the story of this old room, in which the masonry has been preserved since the 17th century.

A place you want to return to 🤍 During your stay in Tbilisi, you have been here 2 times 🧀🍷On the summer porch and inside. Atmospheric to the point of goosebumps, we tried wines, different types of khachapuri, ajapsandal, everything is at the best level. When we were sitting on the summer veranda late in the evening, the owner of the establishment came up and invited us inside for a tour, the mansion building, aesthetically beautiful interior.

The restaurant is located in a very beautiful place, near Zemo Betlemi and overlooking a beautiful street, there are tables both inside and outside. The problems started when they brought us "tapaka chicken" 1. It was without spices at all 2. It was godlessly overcooked 3. It was divided into small fractions, it was clear that they were fried separately (pieces of completely different roasting, what a pity that I did not photograph this masterpiece of culinary art). When I paid and expressed my opinion about the inedible dish, the hostess went somewhere and told me to wait, then she returned and said that the dish was cooked without violations. Then the owner came and also began to prove that spices are not added to tobacco chicken, but it is overcooked because he (the owner) loves it that way. I must say that the chicken was overcooked to a very very thick brown crust. For some reason, the owners refused the offer to try the chicken. No apologies, nothing. In general, the chicken remained in the ashtray, where it belongs, and the owners with the proceeds and a sense of rightness. And they ruined our evening. I do not recommend the establishment

On October 14th, my husband and I came to this restaurant to celebrate his anniversary. We were very satisfied, as the atmosphere of this wonderful place surrounded us with cordiality and comfort. The food was delicious, the wine was incomparable, and the warm welcome of the hostess and her family did not leave us indifferent. The hostess gave us a short tour about the history of this house and her family. At the end of a wonderful evening, the restaurant congratulated my husband with a cake with a candle. I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant and take a break from the hustle and bustle. We decided for ourselves that we will definitely visit this place again when we are in Georgia.

God, this is an incredible place! 🤩 My score is 10 out of 5! It's so good there, you can't imagine! This place is a must-visit! This is such an island of comfort in big Tbilisi. I was traveling alone, so when I was homesick for my family, I came to this place, and it was the only right decision) there's such an atmosphere that the blues are gone)) An amazing host who treated the guests like good friends. Usually, when you're alone, you don't get enough attention, but everything was different here, it was like I was in my parents' house, it was very warm. Thank you for this feeling! Then the kitchen - khachapuri was one of the best for me, homemade wine also came easily and naturally))) Well, the interior is an aesthetic orgasm, no less!! As we wrote earlier, attention to detail in this cafe is at the highest level, I think this is a paradise for an aesthete. In general, I would like to express my great gratitude to the hosts for creating such a unique place, for the warm welcome, warmth and attention to each guest. I sincerely wish you prosperity.
