Let's start with the temple of heaven. It is much easier to visit it than the forbidden city, you do not need to pre-order a ticket, you do not need a passport, you just arrived, bought a ticket and that's it.
A fairly large park area with many interesting buildings, the main of which is the Temple of heaven itself. It is said that at one time the emperor's visit to this place lasted for several days. It was a leisurely ceremony, with spiritual relaxation, ablutions, meditations and prayers, all in different rooms. Fortunately, there are enough of them. Everyone is quite colorful. The blue roofs are the color of God, unlike the yellow, golden roofs in the forbidden city, this is the color of the emperor. There are several exhibitions on the territory, which are not very interesting, since almost all the exhibits are new.
