We were in February of the 25th year .The temple impresses with its size and the preservation of the murals. Well done, the ancient Egyptians, they built conscientiously and for centuries. Our guide was wonderful, he talked humorously and interestingly. The tour was booked at the Albatross agency, even from home. The tour was great, the bus was clean, with air conditioning, we had lunch in Luxor, in a beautiful, shady place. I recommend you to visit.
An incredible place, very atmospheric, mysterious and majestic. It impresses with its appearance from the very entrance . Being inside, the spirit of that era is fully felt. Visit - definitely YES!!!
A fantastic mix of monumentality, beauty and mystery. You can spend hours studying the drawings on the columns, on the ceiling and walls. There is a very exciting atmosphere here.
One of the little-visited, therefore little-known, sights of Egypt: for some reason, excursions there are rare and not available to everyone. But on the spot, after the official part, they provide a lot of time for familiarization with history.
Here it was fun, beautiful, interesting, not a lot of people, drafts ease the heat. I'll say this, this is the only place in the whole long tour where I at least remembered something and was able to appreciate it,
The temple is very beautifully decorated inside, probably one of the best in Egypt, very little visited by tourists, if you want to go there, ask for a trip to Dendera.
A beautiful temple of the delightful goddess Hathor, it is a pity that almost all her faces were deliberately ruined. The feeling is magical anyway, next time I would like to spend the whole day here.
I recommend you to visit, the excellent preservation of the temple and the history. Preferably not in the summer months, as it is unbearably hot and people fainted from the heat.
Of course it's worth a look, but I do not advise going down into the deepest tomb, especially if you can't stand the stuffiness and heat. It's enough to go to the shortest one, it's all the same.
Everything is interesting with a good guide. We were probably unlucky.. I had to walk around in this heat and take pictures by myself. But still, it's great to touch the story..
The Temple of Hathor was a discovery for me. This is not the most popular place among tourists, but in vain! On the facade of the temple, capitals decorated with the head of a goddess with cow ears stand out. The magnificent paintings in the hypostyle hall have been preserved due to the fact that the temple is covered and has a second floor. The most beautiful reliefs can be seen in the crypts, a secret system of passages. After the expedition of Napoleon, in 1820. An astronomical bas-relief (the Dendera zodiac circle) was removed from here and is stored in the Louvre.
One of the most interesting temples in Egypt!
An amazing, wonderful place! The drawings and bas-reliefs are well preserved
There are advantages to his unpopularity.
