The Zhuma Mosque in Khiva is an incredible place with a special atmosphere. I was most impressed by the wooden carved pillars: each one has a unique pattern, as if it carries its own story. Their majestic simplicity and silence inside the mosque create a timeless feeling. The light penetrates through the holes in the ceiling, playing on the carvings — a fascinating sight. Definitely worth seeing with your own eyes!
My heart was captured by the unusual "Juma Mosque". The ceiling of its large hall is supported by 213 wooden columns with unique wooden ornaments. You feel an unusually strong energy...💛
