Camping on the edge of New Athos. All the interesting things are within walking distance. There is a dining room right on the beach. The camping has 220 sockets, clean toilets, hot shower, washbasin (taps with water, mirror) WiFi. Despite the fact that the campsite is next to the road, cars are almost inaudible. You can use a motorhome, you can use a car with a tent. I recommend.

We were at this campsite literally for two nights and out of season - in early May 2023, in October 2023 and in May 2024. A convenient place - you can walk to the monastery, to the cave and to the fortress, without taking a taxi. In October, the cafe was still open (it's not the season anymore) - everything is very tasty, as everywhere in Abkhazia. We spent the night in tents, but there are cabins and motorhomes. If you are a "savage", then there are showers on the territory with always hot water, a toilet, washbasins on the street with mountain water (you can also use it for cooking, by the way). The territory is clean, this year, apparently, they stopped letting cows on the beach, so there were no cow cakes - this is a huge plus. But, again, in 2023 we were not in the "season", so perhaps the beach would have been cleaned for the influx of tourists in June-August. The hosts are always in touch, helping to solve any problems. There is Wi-Fi, but it loses its power closer to the boundaries of the site. But this is not critical.

We have been vacationing in Kamarita for several years , it 's very cool to wake up in a car by the sea. The campsite has a toilet, shower, refrigerators, and Wi-Fi. Next to the dining room , we go for breakfast and white wine !
