In general, I liked everything. We went with our family to a room with a kitchen on the ground floor. The room is clean, bright and not the smallest. The courtyard is small and cozy, it's good that there is a place to smoke. Cleaning and linen change every 3 days.
The maids do their work for five. They are always friendly and ready to help.
I took off one star because the room was not extended for a couple of hours on the day of departure. I had to wait for the transfer in the yard with the child. It's not very good in the heat. But in general, everything is OK.
The sea is a 10-minute walk away. The beach is clean and not overloaded.
The cafe opposite is for three. They often brought khachapuri and pizza with raw dough inside, but they took these dishes back without paying without any problems.
Well, the other dishes are so-so ...
the only plus is that they are nearby.

Great mini hotel! Excellent service! New spacious rooms, good bed linen, towels…We took a room with a kitchen - everything we need is there. 10-12 minutes to the sea along a shady alley. The sea is gorgeous, pebbles- take sneakers) If you are beyond the sea and beautiful nature and in the mood to see only the beautiful- you can safely go! Cows walking everywhere and everywhere will add exotics ) There is a cafe opposite where you can satisfy your hunger. Shops and cafes are within walking distance.. The bus stop is in front of the hotel - for 25 rubles, you can reach Pitsunda in 15 minutes. For 35 rubles - to Gagra. You can take a taxi. 15 minutes from the hotel there is a wine and vodka factory, having tried its products, the world will sparkle with brighter colors. They took brut champagne for both 290 and 1300 rubles. What is more expensive is undoubtedly better. But also the budget version of a bottle for two in the evening, did not leave any unpleasant consequences in the morning) In general, if you are set on a vacation with a beautiful sea and a hotel, closing your eyes to abandonment and other minor flaws - you can safely go!

We had a rest from September 18-28 . The rooms are new, clean, with all amenities. The staff is attentive, they help with all the difficulties and questions that arise.towels, bed linen are the cleanest! The hotel owner himself is a very kind, attentive,pleasant person.
We took a room with a kitchen, because we were relaxing with a child, we have everything we need. There is a small cafe with homemade cuisine in front of the hotel. Very tasty.
The store is nearby, small, but you can find everything you need. Pharmacy.
We were spotted to the sea, at a slow pace of 10 minutes. The beach is nice, the sea is clean.
There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, you can quickly get to Gagra and Pitsunda. In general, if you need a relaxing family vacation in a wonderful hotel, then you should go to Cedar.

While the memories are fresh, I will write a truthful review ... the location of the hotel is very good, the view from the window is gorgeous, the only thing is that cars often drive, so it's more careful with children, especially the locals. The bus stop is nearby, it is very convenient for those who are without a car, who have a car parking near the hotel. The rooms correspond to the photos, the only thing, in my opinion, there are not enough shoe racks, and shelves in the closet or chest of drawers, especially when a family of 4 or more people. The room inside is decent, the beds are comfortable, the pressure in the shower is good, towels are changed often, bed linen is also changed, in general I recommend it. (PS. The administrator really doesn't like when they cook shish kebab, you have to constantly negotiate, it's a little stressful). The beach is 12-15 minutes away at an average pace, we walked where cars do not drive, otherwise it is impossible, a constant stream of cars and we have to slow down and skip ... there are no large shops in the village, we went to buy at magnate, the price tag is adequate, but the refrigerator is small, you can't buy much

We had a rest in September of this year. The place itself is amazing: quiet, few people, awesome sea, wide beach, very comfortable temperature in September. Everything is in step-by-step (this is even based on the fact that a 5-year-old child went everywhere with me and did not whine that he had to go far, etc.). The hotel is very cool in all respects: always clean, quiet, excellent repair, very polite owner Shamil and the girls who keep the comfort and maintain cleanliness! Juliana, you are just wonderful! The territory is small, but it absolutely does not play any role, since Abkhazia is not the place where you need to be on the territory of the hotel :). Well, I really liked everything. Laundry - please have access to 2 washing machines at no extra charge. And in general, Cedar stands out favorably among other hotels and so on. Thank you for your hospitality!

The guest house itself is excellent. Spacious rooms, comfortable, new mattresses, clean bed linen. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a barbecue area. There are several washing machines freely available.
There were not enough full-fledged shelves / cabinets and mirrors, but these are small things.
I would not advise people without a car. (We were without). There are no full-fledged large shops in the village, you need to take a taxi / bus to the market in Pitsunda. but! This is not a guest house problem. We knew about it in advance.
There was a lot of hope for the cafe opposite - Amra, but all the food was greasy and not tasty for us.
Therefore, breakfast, lunch and dinner had to be "mined" and often go to the market. You can't buy much, the lights are often turned off, the products deteriorate quickly.
It's a nice cafe by the lake, but it takes about 15 minutes to walk.
A very beautiful road to the beach, a slow 10-minute walk along the alley, in the shade.
The beach is wide, with a gentle entrance.
My husband and I came to the conclusion that if a large supermarket appears in the village, we will definitely return to Cedar.

We had a vacation in Abkhazia for the first time, and it's lucky that we got to Cedar! Now, if Abkhazia, then only Cedar! The hotel is new, the rooms are large, clean, there is absolutely everything you need for life! Kitchen, dishes, refrigerator, air conditioning. We lived with the children in a large apartment, there was enough closet for everyone. The owner of the hotel Shamil is almost always on site or in touch, all issues are resolved quickly! We got into a blackout all over the country, Shamil had a generator and water from the well was constantly! If necessary, you can arrange an additional one. cleaning, towels can be changed at any time. And special thanks to Gala!!! The most friendly and wonderful employee!!! We were in Abkhazia for the first time and chose the Cedar hotel for a vacation and did not regret it! The owner of the hotel Shamil and the administrator Galina are very friendly people, they have done everything to make the rest as comfortable as possible. You feel at home, there is everything you need for rest and accommodation, and most importantly, the atmosphere created by these people. During our vacation, we traveled to many places in Abkhazia and realized that we had made the right choice in terms of the location of the hotel, the beach and the infrastructure nearby. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family and we will be happy to return here when planning a vacation.

A small clean cozy hotel. it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the sea. of the advantages: a huge bed, freshly renovated, a small dryer in front of each room, a bus stop nearby, a shuttle service. among the disadvantages: a minimum of channels (and there is nothing to do there in the rain), there is not enough closet or chest of drawers for things (there are only bedside tables and a crossbar for hangers), the windows of all rooms overlook a small courtyard with tables and chairs where guests can relax loudly until late at night, well, you know what I'm getting at Rather, we were hindered by their children screaming until one o'clock in the morning.
in general: the cafe next door is open from 8, and some excursions are also from 8, so you need to take care of breakfast in advance. in my opinion, it is better to go to the golden sands cafe on the beach, there is a buffet from 7 am.
cows are walking and shitting everywhere, there are a lot of abandoned buildings and garbage, in general it is a village, and this hotel stands out pleasantly there. Have a good rest!

There is a public transport stop, a cafe where you can have breakfast or you can cook in the shared kitchen at the hotel, where everything is provided. It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the beach along the alley. A sun lounger and an umbrella can be rented on the beach (for a fee). There are several cafes along the way. Many thanks to the owner of the hotel Shamil, we ordered a transfer, met and spent everything on time. We had a rest from September 5th to 10th.
To say that this is a decent hotel is to say nothing!
I did not expect that there could be such a level of accommodation in Abkhazia. The owner of this hotel really takes the level of recreation in Abkhazia a step higher with his attitude!
The rooms are perfectly clean, bed linen, towels, etc. It is very convenient to have your own kitchen (refrigerator, cooker hood)
The filling of the rooms is well thought out, which makes them very cozy.
The territory is small, but it is also kept clean.
The advantage of this hotel is the location - a cafe 50 meters, a shop 200 meters. To the sea
7-10 minutes. The beach is clean and not crowded. Once we met the sunset on the shore and a dolphin jumped out to us twice)
It takes 10-15 minutes to Pitsunda, 15-20 minutes to Gagra and it's by bus for 25-30 rubles! The bus stop is 30 meters from the hotel, but there is no noise from the road, there is almost no traffic.
An ideal place to relax with children.
I recommend it, if you need peace and quiet, then this is the place. We had a rest with two small children and went to Gagary several times in the evening for a walk and Pitsunda in the afternoon for a swim, no problems with transport.

As of June 2022, this is the best accommodation in this village! We regretted that we had been here for only 4 days and then moved to Gagra, but there were no empty seats, it was not possible to extend(
The building itself is new, modern, and compares favorably with all the others. The territory is small but well maintained, there are 3 tables with benches and folding umbrellas. On the other side of the building there is a kitchen (2 induction stoves, 2 sinks, kettle, refrigerator, microwave, slow cooker, all necessary utensils), as well as a barbecue. By the way, this location of the kitchen is very successful, my friends and I sat there in the evenings under a barbecue and did not bother anyone)
The room is spacious and clean, the renovation is fresh. A huge bed with a comfortable mattress and bedding. A mini-refrigerator, bedside tables, lamps on them, a table and two chairs, air conditioning, a TV (which we never turned on), a kettle, cups. Personally, I really did not have enough mirrors in the room (only a small one in the bathroom) and places to store clothes (there is only a barbell and 5 hangers on it), but on the other hand, we did not have to disassemble the suitcase much for our 4 days))) Nevertheless, there is a wish to make several shelves in a niche with a barbell, add hangers and a full-length mirror. There is a spacious shower room in the bathroom, a shelf, a shelf by the mirror, a hair dryer, boiling white towels.
Each room has a clothes dryer. There is also a shared washing machine and powder.
I'll tell you a little about the area. For understanding, this is a village) there is no infrastructure, we have never eaten delicious in a cafe (we are quite demanding), and there are 4 cafes themselves. Shops are within walking distance of nothing, buy maximum water. It's good that we were in the car, and the owner told us where to buy meat, vegetables, and also found a civil and large supermarket Olympus themselves. We bought food and cooked it ourselves, it turned out cheaper and tastier). The prices of products are favorable (compared to Moscow), mostly cash is used, but cards of all payment systems and all Russian banks work in large points.
The beach is not equipped, there is no toilet, but it is wide. The only sunbeds were at the boarding house, which did not sell them🤷♀️ Therefore, we pretended that we belong to a boarding house and lay for free)))) The same boarding house has a cafe, but the only food is corn and chips. The road to the beach is about 7 minutes through a gorgeous alley of beautiful trees😍
Despite all these features, if we still go to Pitsunda, then only here! More precisely, even if we still go to Abkhazia, then only here. Cedar has sunk into our hearts by nature and the barbecue area There is unreal beauty and the purest air around! It feels like you came to the country, only very picturesque, and we, the city, needed it) Complete relaxation and a leisurely rest.
I want to say a special thank you to the owner - Shamil, friendly, always answers all questions and tells us, even treated us to tortillas for barbecue somehow)
Now we are in Gagra and regret that we split our vacation into 2 cities, Gagra did not stand next to the nature of Pitsunda and the beaches. There is a desire to come back again👍

Nice little hotel. Everything is as in the photo. Clear. Towels and bed were changed for us. There is an equipped kitchen, a barbecue, a courtyard with tables where you can eat or just sit, washing machines, dryers. A shuttle service can be arranged. The modern building of the hotel. The rooms are cool. There is hot (water heater) and cold water. Periodically, the lights are turned off (in the whole village) and the water is turned off in the same way (there is a well in the hotel, the pump does not work without light), they are fixed quite quickly, including the gasoline generator.
The shower cabins are large enough + normal water pressure.
There are washing machines, there are dryers, there is a kitchen, quite modern where you can cook everything you need.
WiFi is fast.
The beds are comfortable.
The TV is working.
There is a hair dryer.
7 minutes walk to the sea, through the grove on the road. There is a cafe on the opposite side of the hotel, if you need to have a snack without effort. Shops are within walking distance. Of the huge advantages, there is a bus stop nearby, buses to Gagra and Pitsunda.
