In 2023, we visited this institution again and were unpleasantly surprised. When I sat down at the table, there was an unbearable smell of something rotten. It was unpleasant to sit, but nothing happened, a table was vacated and we moved. After making an order, they began to wait in anticipation of a delicious barbecue, but alas!, they were terribly disappointed, the barbecue was made from very old meat, which had been lying in the freezer for a long time and was waiting for its last hour, so it was still dried so much that it was unbearable to gnaw!!!!, perhaps it was in order to hide the old age of the meat, I don't know. The dog was lucky, they fed almost four portions of shish kebab, at least someone was pleased. The officials referred to our pretension, referring to the lack of professionalism of the cook. But there's a cook and a rotten meat here!!!! It's a pity, it was one of the most delicious establishments, but alas, everything is ruined. Guys, you have to keep your reputation. It's a pity we were disappointed.

For lunch, we decided to return to this institution and ordered chicken noodles, which pleased us, it was very tasty and the chicken was homemade.But when choosing the second courses, the girl did not listen, she was very busy, she said that her people were waiting. My appetite is gone. We ordered rice and a chop. The rice was brought cold and undercooked. Chicken with nuts and cheese was brought filled with juliennes . Where are the nuts?

Today we visited this cafe in the hope of having a delicious meal. The order was accepted quickly, the fish was quite edible, stewed vegetables too, and the pita bread was delicious.We also ordered three portions of barbecue with us. The meat was simply burned, it was tough and inedible. We only discovered this upon arrival at the hotel, when the kids began to eat. I decided to come back with complaints about this and turned to the woman who was at the bar. I was told that these "coals" were a normal barbecue and that I should go far away. That's the kind of Caucasian hospitality here. Disgusting service. Terrible barbecue. I do not recommend visiting.

A great place!
The cafe is inconspicuous outside, so what is in the greenery is very cozy and colorful inside.
The service is excellent: the waitress tried very hard to prompt, she was very friendly. Her advice helped us navigate the selection of the number and type of dishes, including she offered more profitable options (read "cheaper") for our needs.
The menu consists mainly of national cuisine, there are several European dishes.
We took the dishes of Caucasian cuisine, they were all delicious! The vegetables are tender, the table is in your mouth, the spices are very interesting. Soups abounded with meat. Delicious pastries: khachapuri and lavash are incredible.
Delicious and fragrant coffee.
We were advised wine (and yes, it is slightly more expensive than average), but it really met our requirements and suited the dishes. Later, when we returned to buy wine as souvenirs, we found out that this "author's" wine is made by the owner of the establishment, and it is really delicious!
The price for this pleasure is very pleasant (an average of 800 rubles per person), especially in comparison with prices in Sochi.
I definitely recommend you to visit!

We advised this institution , a few years ago it was delicious, disgusting for this period, we took chicken wings on the grill, spicy salted fried BUT also a lot of feathers sticking out.. these stumps finished off the whole impression of the wings, a portion of 250 r (4 pcs) the waiter told us and suggested that 6 pcs could be made. As a result, we have 1100 rubles in the bill for the wings....
I still don 't remember what the beef with vegetables is called in a pot , one piece of meat is small with veins all over and tasteless vegetables , although there was no bitter taste of eggplant
As a result, they did not understand why they gave 2000 rubles..... They didn't eat, they gave it away and left …

The food does not match the price, how the pigs were painted with salad, the serving of dishes is worse than in the dining room, we ordered four different dishes, we did not like more than one, the waiter walked past us four times and did not once ask what else would interest us, how the dirty dishes stood and stood until we left, but 10% pay for the service, for which I would like to know. only the pita bread is delicious. Take the example of the Ritz Cafe. There, for an hour while we were sitting, the waiter came up three times and asked if we liked everything. I do not recommend it. 👎

We ran in for a snack, took khachapur and tea. After 15 minutes, khachapur was brought and they said that tea would be brought now... After 15 minutes, we ate khachapur, but tea was not brought to us. We went to the checkout to pay and the waitress next to us said, "there are so many people, what kind of tea they need." So we left without tea.. Khachapur itself is edible, but there was almost no cheese there. The toilet is terrible, there is a hole in the floor and the smell is unpleasant. In search of a place to eat, my friends and I went to this seemingly decent cafe. But from the very beginning, you just had to get up and leave, everything suggested it. The waitress Madeleine greeted us aggressively, even though we didn't do anything, maybe they just asked unnecessary questions. It can be seen that in Abkhazia you can't ask questions at all, either take it or go.
When asked by the child about the presence of hinkalek, it was said that this was not a canteen. When we asked about the wine from local producers that is on the menu, the answer was that only wine from their owner is served. That is, there is a menu, but they sell the master's.
What did they bring us:
-overcooked mussels stuck to the pan,
-all Caesar salads were in the form of a mountain of Peking cabbage!!! With large slices of breadcrumbs!
- the vats were brought to us in the form of several pieces of meat, filled with boiling water and squeezed garlic, and in addition with raw undercooked potatoes!! Thanks to these potatoes, we were able to return the dish and delete it from the receipt.
- chicken is also like a biscuit.
Our complaints about quality were answered -"what do you want from me, the cook knows better how to cook, everyone has different recipes!!"
In addition, pay attention to the 10% service fee!
We thought it was a tip, we didn't want to leave it for such quality. But they chased us to the car and demanded a girl for a PO.
The prices are crazy, the quality is at the bottom, as is the culture of the workers!

Okay, I choked as much as I could, I thought that this was how it should be, but no (it must be butter), the next dish was brought trout stuffed with shrimp and cheese came from somewhere that was not indicated on the menu, I did not want to eat it at all, I had to take it with me. My husband was also brought a breeze salad for some reason seasoned with soy sauce and a bunch of Peking cabbage, which is also not indicated on the menu, he also had to choke, French fries were also overcooked, they brought my husband the next dish baked potatoes with beef in a pot, poking with a spoon in a pot, he barely found beef and it was clearly not baked with this It was stuffed with potatoes later and just boiled, I had to take it with me too. In general, all the food had to be thrown away the next day because we were sick all night. In general, now we doubt going to local restaurants, basically everyone wants to cheat, and trout, which are piled up here and should not cost much, are trying to sell at the price of sturgeon!

The food here is extremely delicious - even the standard pizza is simply divine. The children were delighted. The husband appreciated the shurpa, especially the huge piece of meat in the plate. We were kindly allowed to use a laptop outlet and Wi-Fi. The place itself is also cool, the sea is across the street. Nearby the railway station is still Soviet, abandoned. But still beautiful.

Previously, we only visited this cafe in Gagra. It was insanely delicious and the price tag was adequate and the portions were good. It doesn't look like five stars right now... With food, if you're lucky... The food was decent, but the boat is very average ..., wow effect did not happen, although its price is far from cheap, shish kebab - you can eat, but it did not cause delight. And by the way, there are no more locals like there used to be... and that's saying something... In general, at the moment, in my opinion, the prices are too high. You either need to improve the quality of the dishes, or lower the prices a little. Alas, the "Caucasian cuisine" is not the same now...., although we look into every trip at least once, but to be nostalgic))))

We've been there a couple of times after reading the reviews. I didn't like the taste of the dishes. We ordered a pork kebab, chicken wings, two types of meat and several other items. The service time depends on the waiter, some come up periodically, others need to be followed independently. There is no proper toilet. Tips are included in the bill and it is very controversial, someone is satisfied with the quality and will leave more than 10%, someone runs after the waiter and actually serves himself, then for which service to charge. In general, I did not like it, but not the worst place, so 3 stars.

The biggest disappointment in Gagra is: the hall is dark, gloomy, uncomfortable, the tables are greasy, the toilet is outside and very dirty, i.e. after washing your hands before eating, you have to touch a lot of dirty objects. And it's not safe in Abkhazia. The prices are the same as in other establishments, I can't assess the quality, we didn't dare to eat.
