One of the best tandoor gusht that I've tried. Lamb baked in a tandoor (wood-fired earth oven) with the aroma of local mountain juniper. Juniper is added as a meat flavor and the dish turns out to have a rich smell of this tree.
You can try the meat on the spot or take it with you. There is always a live queue for meat. When buying, you can ask for the meat to be made immediately in a flatbread, you will get a sandwich that is convenient to eat on the way if you decide to take it with you.
I travel a lot, I've tried mutton everywhere (Turkey, Alatai, Emirates, Ossetia, Dagestan, Buryatia, Adygea, Armenia, Georgia) but I didn't like it because of the smell. But this is, without exaggeration, the first place on Earth where I've eaten sooo delicious, odorless but delicious mutton. This is where you really need to stop and try. There are a lot of locals, not so many tourists. Beauty and color!
We ordered (May 2025) a kilogram of mutton in tandoor, lavash, cola and a large plate of salad. Everything was very tasty. The three of them couldn't finish everything they ordered. We paid about 200,000 SOM, if memory serves. I definitely recommend the establishment. Great views are included in the dishes))) Good luck to all
