I really liked the beach. Waves (in December) were frequent, children are afraid to swim, but adults have a lot of fun. The sand is fine and creaky. And the water is clear, you can see the bottom at a depth. When the wave comes, it brings different fish. They are very funny and annoying. This time I was bitten by plankton, constantly, if the sea was calm. Well, it's tolerable, it's not piranhas. Rods of 200 baht for 2, you can buy yourself, and fruits, and drink, and carry nuts, and corn and ice cream. They also carry various souvenirs.
Do not forget to apply sunscreens regularly if you are very sensitive to sunburn. There was no sun at all, I was very badly burned on the last day when I forgot the cream at the hotel. And it's a shame, because I was only sitting under an umbrella. Is that so? Take care of yourself.

Ooooh, Karon Beach. I've been to several beaches, and I liked this one the most. Very clean. The water is amazing - it changes color depending on the weather, but it is always very clean and transparent. For me, a separate thrill is a chilled puree of fresh, very ripe fruits (in my case, mango). I really liked the embankment on the beach - a mixture of sand and crushed shells, it is very pleasant for the feet. By the way, there is a hotel across the street from the beach, where there is a shower and taps at the entrance to wash off the sand. Everyone can use it. There are entertainment options, just like everywhere else - banana, cheesecake, flying over the beach

Among the beaches of Nai Harn, Kata, Kata Noi, Patong Karon is the best for me, because it is the longest, that is, there is enough space for absolutely everyone. And here is the cleanest crisp sand, a green line with shade close to the coastline, deck chairs and tables for rent (for some reason there were no tables on Nai Harn and Katya).
The whole civilization in the form of retail outlets, massages and other things is right behind you across the street, but there is no feeling of "Adler Anapa" like in Patong and Katya.
The water is clean (not in a storm).
Vid Karon is the only beach among these beaches where nothing hinders the view- no islands, no boats, no piles of parachutes.... Horizon and lyapotaaaa😛
Cons: there are no showers at all and few trash cans.
It's not clear why they can't arrange a tank of water for 10 baht to wash their feet. They would have dragged less sand to the cafe)))
Dear compatriots, please clean up and take away the garbage. Let's not only enjoy using it, but also save it.

Sun beds cost 100 baht, just like on Katya. The sand is crisp as always) Beautiful sunsets. The water is clean and transparent. We stayed at the Emerald Hotel - everything is convenient and within walking distance. We had a family with a small child in a stroller, it was more convenient for them to walk along these sidewalks (they are wider) than on Katya, where you almost always walk along the side of the road to the sea.

Everything is gorgeous! There was a huge wave for a few days - it wasn't boring to ride the waves. Surf for rent is 250 baht per hour. There are cafes across the street (50 meters away) - everything is delicious and not expensive. Sun beds are 100 baht per day, things are under supervision- there is no theft. Fresh 50 baht: you can mix different fruits for the same money from the guys who rent out sun beds and boards. Coconut 50 baht- beer in 5 minutes : 40 - 60 baht large bottle.

Singing sands, clean and warm sea, beautiful weather, friendly locals, but not all. Keep in mind, clever sellers can easily deceive a tourist. In one store opposite the beach, I was punched the cost of the product is more expensive than the price tag in the window. I refused to take the goods and asked for a refund, but they refused me. I had a short fight with the saleswoman, but I still took the goods at an increased price, I didn't want to contact the police and spoil my vacation. I didn't go to this store anymore. I found this product (a bottle of Thai rum) at a normal price.

A beautiful beach, along which there is everything your soul desires across the street. We always went to it directly from the Marina Phuket Resort hotel (private descent inside the hotel). By the way, there is also a cozy restaurant with incredibly beautiful sunsets - On the rock. We walked along the beach back and forth in sunny weather and in heavy rain - it's always beautiful here. At the beginning of the beach from the side of the aforementioned hotel there is a rental of sunbeds, where the incredible staff helped us find the decoration lost in the sand, as a compliment they treated us with coconuts and always went to a meeting! We will definitely come back)

Great beach. The sand is very pleasant to the touch. Paid sun beds can only be rented for an even number (two, four, etc.) the cost for two pieces is 200 baht. An umbrella and a table are included with the ice caps. I do not recommend using the first row of sun beds, as they can be flooded at high tide. There are vendors along the beach offering all sorts of things (corn, ice cream, cigarettes, nuts, glasses, clothes and much more). Of the 12 days of rest, 4 days were waves, but for those who like to jump and swing on the waves, this is even a plus. In general, I highly recommend the beach, most likely this is the best plan in Phuket.

For me, Karon. If you were more precise, its central part is the best beach in Phuket. (The best in terms of water/sand are the central part of Bang Tao and Mai Khao, but more about them later)
Now about Karon. Central karona, where there are no streams between the road and the beach, where there is always a place for a bike and even a car on the road. Where you can find free sun beds even during the day, and if you try, even a shade under a palm tree near the water. Clean water, clean sand. Coconuts, chang and vodka are always available nearby. The only caveat is that there is no public toilet nearby. For me, compared to the neighboring beaches, the best place. It's very crowded on Patong, they allowed a lot of sun beds on Katya, now you can't get through there. Kamala is also heavily loaded during the season. Bang tao is good in the center, it's difficult to get there if you don't live in the top five nearby. The north and south of Bang Tao are stinky rivers, the water is not very clean. Mai khao is good, but there's nothing around + immediately decent depth and big waves. I don't consider small beaches like freedom, nui or banana for every day, it's a long drive, there's almost no shade. Enjoy your stay)

I went to the beach for a ride several times, didn't like it, went to the Caron and didn't lose. There are blue umbrellas at the beginning of the beach, and the owners have created a cozy place for vacationers there: each pair of sun beds has a table, 2 hangers on the umbrellas, and a broom for removing sand from the sun beds. When buying two seats, for 200 baht, you will receive a receipt and a bottle of cold water. This is the first time I've encountered such a service in Thailand in many years. Credit to the guys.

At the beginning of November, it is quite clean and there are few people. By the holiday on November 19, there were noticeably more people. The ocean is beautiful, the sunsets are amazing and always different. There are sun beds with umbrellas, 200 baht per day. Coconuts, ice cream. I am glad that the service is unobtrusive, no one rushes at you with an offer of services and goods. I do not advise you to take anything on the beach or in a cafe nearby. A little bit further - and all the same is much cheaper. There are some drains - rivers and a pipe, but it does not stink, there is almost no garbage. But it's probably better to swim closer to the middle.

Walking from the road to the beach, you need to pass through thickets with debris and sand. But you can clean up the trash and lay out stone paths to the beach so that you can walk without obstacles. The beach is very strange. We had a rest on Katya, decided to take a ride to Karon. We spent about 20 minutes at sea and went back. We can't swim, so Karon is more dangerous for us. The sand itself falls into the sea, then the pit is deep, then on the contrary the ledge. And it's really scary + the waves are strong. It's great for those who can swim. Well, as it is, the Kata is calmer, the beach is flat. The waves are calm. Another disadvantage is that it's a bit dirty, there are a lot of empty beer bottles scattered around, well, I think it depends on the visiting Russians. If you went during the season, then it will definitely please you, if not in season, then you will have to choose quiet days). Kata beach is more suitable for a family holiday, as there is a calmer current and fewer waves, but Karon I think will leave you with only positive impressions.

Swimming in the ocean itself is almost impossible. Lots of jellyfish. I was stung by a Dutch ship, it's good that I'm in a non-lethal zone. Apparently there are no sewage treatment plants, as in Abkhazia, the pipe goes into the ocean. There are mosquitoes, but not many. There are a lot of cafes. For 300 baht, you can eat noodles and mashed soup. There is an evening market. After a two-week vacation, I wanted something new and sailed to the island of Pi Pi.

Of course, there are beaches that are better for some parameter, for example, there are fewer people. Or the view is better. Or the entrance to the sea is more pleasant. Where there are no parachutists who strive to sit on your head ... but such beaches are usually in the wilderness where either there is no infrastructure at all, or there is so little of it that there is nothing to do except the beach. So, I can safely say that Karon is the best compromise beach in Phuket. And there is a lot of housing nearby, and the water is clean (not Patong at all), and there is a lot of space - there is no need to push. And in the evening there is somewhere to go, although of course there is no movement as in Patong. But not a perfect beach. Very wide. Almost wild, no toilet, no shower, although for Ty it's more of a standard. In general, I recommend it for a relaxing family holiday.
