It is best to go from Hurghada. At least once in my life, if there is such an opportunity, it is worth visiting. One hour is enough to visit this temple complex. There are a lot of tourists from different countries, so the best time to visit is immediately after opening and before closing, but unfortunately this is not possible with group tours. And, of course, the best time to visit is winter.
