Karandzav Restaurant is the best restaurant in Armenia. Insanely delicious home cooking. A beautiful restaurant stands like an oasis against the backdrop of picturesque nature and a spring spring. The staff is very helpful, they speak Russian well, so there are no problems with ordering dishes. The food is fresh, the dishes are gorgeous!!! I have been to many places as a tourist, but even in Europe there is no such delicious food. Thanks to the staff of the restaurant and its chef named Ando. I would especially like to mention the owner of the restaurant "Karandzav" Vardan. He is a very charming, intelligent and deeply reasonable person. Thank you to him for organizing such a great restaurant. THANK YOU DEAR VARDAN!!! Wait for us to visit you again! Now I know for sure that when visiting Armenia, you just need to visit the Karandzav restaurant! A group of tourists from Russia, Europe and America love the Karandzav restaurant!!!

This is a wonderful place that is definitely worth a look. The manager Andrey was very friendly and showed and told everything. However, I was upset by his "Armenian trick." I asked for a menu, but they told me it wasn't there. When I asked if I could pay with a card, I received a negative answer. I said that I only had dollars, and they told me that everything was fine. I ordered rice with honey, sorrel salad and compote. The total cost was about 5-6 thousand rubles, which is equivalent to 13 dollars. I asked to make the payment immediately, but I was refused several times. I felt like there was a catch. As a result, they billed me for 9 thousand rubles and applied their dollar exchange rate, which turned out to be twice as much. Fortunately, the food was delicious, and after the meal I didn't want to argue. Therefore, I decided to share my experience and warn others about possible problems.

So we came to this "Restaurant", went up to the 2nd floor into a spacious warm hall, none of the visitors were sitting inside, the manager said go down to the gazebo, we went into this gazebo and saw two heaters working, they worked very poorly and did not heat the room at all, the waitress came up, made an order, waited for the order 30 minutes, but because of the cold it seemed like an hour had passed, it was only 9 degrees in the room, we were frozen in winter jackets, the food was delicious, the interior was beautiful, the waitress apologized for the manager, in the end he came and started being rude, telling you that it was cold now, laughing and he stood at the door and shivered, When we asked why he didn't put us in a warm room, he replied that two families were already sitting there before your arrival, let me remind you that we went into a warm room on the second floor and there was no one there and the tables were clean, the waitress did the job well, the food was delicious, but the manager was terrible.

It's a very colorful place in the Armenian style , very tasty barbecue, excellent service, the only drawback on the road from the highway to the restaurant , the road is full of deep holes , but it's worth it .
